2 out of 5 eggsLoud and Noisy

Pros: The flow rate seems accurate (~30+ CFM)

Cons: Sound Level and Noise

Other Thoughts: I purchased 3 of these fans, along with different amounts of various other fans (from newegg), to physically compare them knowing some of my purchases would make it to the trash. I was looking for optimal trade off between flow rate and sound level. These fans did start off quiet (maybe the advertised 22 dBA), but got louder over months. Two developed an additional vibrational noise, which I wasn't able to get rid of by: A) fiddling with them, B) adding (some sort of) oil to what I believe were the bearings, or finally C) hitting them hard or D) real hard.

3 out of 5 eggsNot great.

Pros: Pushes quite a lot of air.

Cons: I knew out of the box that I'd got what I paid for. I turned it by hand and it ground to an audible stop.

Surprised the screw holes didn't break while I was screwing it in because they felt like they were about to. Pretty cheap plastic.

This fan is about four times louder than the other five fans in my case combined. Loud enough that I just unplugged it after a couple hours and I don't use it.

Other Thoughts: My 120mm MASSCOOL fan is silent and great, don't let this turn you off of their other products, just be careful.

5 out of 5 eggsPlease read this

Pros: Price

Cons: very loud

Other Thoughts: I bought this on the 4th of January and Installed it and found out that it was loud the RPM was over 2800, so I checked tom’s hardware to see if someone had the same problem they did and one of the members suggested that in that a fan controller was needed. One of those fan controllers was the ZALMAN FAN MATE 2 Fan Controller which I bought helped turn the rpm a lot, and the sound is great most of these people that review this fan don’t tell you that you may need to buy a fan controller if the fan gets too loud so I’m tell you now you may need to buy a controller for this fan.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Fan

Pros: Inexpensive
MOVES some air
Not loud

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Mounted 1 at the top and 1 on the side and compared to my last 80mm's these things PUSH some air through my case and lowered the average inside temperature about 10 degrees.

5 out of 5 eggsThis fan is a fan

Pros: It does what is advertised. Works properly, isn't loud, nor is it too cheap looking to make me regret buying it.

Shipping by UPS was fast. Got the fan within 4-6 days, with no defects/damage.

Cons: None. Lets see in a year.

Other Thoughts: Bought the fan for my CoolerMaster HAF X case with the VGA holder duct provided. I was supposed to buy a fan with 15mm height and accidentally bought this. Just modded the part. Anyhow, with the numerous fans in this case and with my card, my system isn't a bit louder at all.

What's interesting is the fan is rated for 2700rpm I believe, but my Zalman ZM-MFC3 fan controller shows it between 2970rpm-2990rpm. Haven't really looked into it since it's no bother.

By the temperatures these output, it's obvious I have a very audible rig, so when I mean the fan isn't loud, I mean I haven't heard any additional noise after putting it in.

5 out of 5 eggsNice 80mm fan

Pros: Bought two if these and they both worked out of the box without problems. You can feel them moving allot of air. almost more than my stock raidmax 120mm fans.

Cons: Can get a little loud when running at full rpm used speed fan to dial them back to about 85% and there pretty quiet

4 out of 5 eggsNice and quiet

Pros: Inexpensive
Move a decent amount of air
No LED's

Cons: 4-pin legacy connector isn't a separate piece.

Other Thoughts: These fans are quiet and move a nice amount of air. The wires are wrapped, which is a plus. The legacy connector isn't a separate part, though, so if you're using them with the motherboard sysfan pins you'll either have to leave them dangle or cut the wrapping to remove them.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's a fan. It moves enough air. It's not too noisy.

Cons: It's a little noisy on full speed.
