Protect your PC against the searing heat of everyday use. For cost-conscious shoppers and PC enthusiasts who want maximum bang for the buck, you’ll definitely want to make the MASSCOOL FD08025B1M3/4 Cooling Fan part of your cooling solution.

The fan, operating with durable 80mm blades and a ball bearing, safely ushers harmful thermal energy away from your PC’s sensitive components, at a rate of approximately 33 CFM (cubic feet per minute) during peak performance! This Masscool is a cinch to install, and the 26.5 dB generated at 2700 RPMs ± 10% means you’ll hardly notice it’s even in use!

Topping off the list of extraordinary features is the coated cord, which insulates this fan, keeping it from short-circuiting, thus preserving the life of your computer. Not only will it keep your system temps way down, but will help prevent dust and other particulate matter from building up inside your PC. Whether you’re arming one system or several workstations, ensure you equip them with this system fan cooler for solid protection and superior value.

  • newegg Extra Quiet The ball bearing Masscool FD08025B1M3/4 works at a whisper-quiet 26.5dBA.
  • newegg Wire Coating Wire coating enhances power cable reliability and avoids tangles with other cables.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Bought two of these fans. One failed after 9 months.

Other Thoughts: I went with a ball bearing fan hoping to not have to replace it for several years. I don't want a fan with fancy lights, just one that is reliable. Why does that seem so tough to find?

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Cheap in bulk. Molex and 3 pin connector. Still going. Push a lot of air!

Cons: Was expecting some noise, but a few of these came with a bit of a rattle to them. So much so I would not buy them again. I would say 1/4 of them rattle louder than acceptable, and have since been removed.

Other Thoughts: A pass through molex might have been too unwieldy to add , but would have been super useful. I soldered those on to half of mine. I would have RMAed loud ones, but would have cost more than the fan is worth.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap and quiet

Pros: Cheap-Quiet-Effective. Fan has done its job. I mean, its a fan, not a rocket ship. This is one of those items that does the job just as well as the more expensive versions in a personal computer environment.

Cons: Only time will tell if it lasts a lifetime.

3 out of 5 eggsits a 12v Fan

Pros: none

Cons: I bought this fan after a google search for a 80mm 220v fan led me to it--nowhere on the newegg website does it specify the input voltage.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: -Inexpensive
-Ball Bearing
-works

Cons: nada

Other Thoughts: I did not pay attention to the fans being 3 wire. It will work in a 4 wire recepticle. Very reasonable for multiple discount; 2 ship as cheaply as 1 so stock up.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap little things

Pros: Well, you can't beat the bulk rate price... And they're certainly keeping things cool.

Cons: They're a bit louder than I expected ball bearing fans to be, but nothing a fan controller can't change. The molex only has the male input. Most fans have both, and my fan controller has male molexes, too (not sure why, since PSUs are all female), so I had to use the 3-pin fan power instead.

Other Thoughts: If these things last, they'll be an excellent investment.

1 out of 5 eggsSTAY AWAY

Pros: Quiet, good airflow.

Cons: Bought 3, one arrived broken (the fan brushings rubbed against the house), another died within a month. Im replacing all 3 with another brand. Sounds like poor quality control. Stay away!!!!

Other Thoughts: Stay away!!!!
