5 out of 5 eggsBest thermal paste on the market

Pros: You cannot beat the thermal conductivity ratings for this stuff. It outperforms pretty much everything on the market. It comes in a super-easy-to-use syringe that has about enough for one, maybe two installs. During use, this stuff doesn't cake on and solidify like most other thermal pastes do; so, removal is a breeze and doesn't require anything more than a cloth (nope, don't even need rubbing alcohol to get it off).

Cons: Pricey, but that's what you pay for raw performance.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this stuff

Pros: Depending on whose benchmarks you look at, it may knock a degree or two off Arctic Silver 5. Comes in an easy to apply syringe. Comes off CPUs/Heatsinks with little work, easy to clean off completely with minimal solvent use.

Cons: Nope

Other Thoughts: I switched over from Arctic a couple years ago, not sure if it makes much of a difference as far as getting better overclocks, but knocking any temperature off is great for the cumulative life of the processor, and also for assuring long term stability during the summer months when systems run hotter.

3 out of 5 eggsBang for your buck

Pros: The product does exactly what I need it to. I'm using it in conjunction with copper shims for Dell's cooling design flaws in a laptop.

Cons: Barely enough material to cover a small CPU and GPU.

Other Thoughts: The syringe was filled less than 1/4". For the price, I expected more.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it's weight

Pros: None

Cons: Purchased this to change the TIM on my aging EVGA 560TI's Did 1 to see how it would affect it and the temps stayed the same. Either EVGA used realy good TIM on these cards which i doubt or this is just an average TIM. Nothing special here....

Other Thoughts: 1 Tube barely covered the GPU heatsink.

3 out of 5 eggssome long term dificulty

Pros: Initially lowered temp about 1-2 degrees

Cons: On 4 core Deneb running stock, had to replace the paste after less than a month as it was drying out on the cpu.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's thermal paste

Pros: Definitely an improvement in temps over the prepackaged hyper 212+ tim. Came out of the syringe smooth and spread with ease.

Cons: This paste is a bit thicker than average, but not really something I'm concerned with.

Other Thoughts: Just a dab will cover your ihs. Using a "pea sized" drop is far too much paste. You really only need about half a grain of rice to get a nice and even film across the whole cpu.

3 out of 5 eggsokay product, maybe more

Pros: nice long syringe, thick paste, drys fast.
cpu temp nice and low.

Cons: so little.

Other Thoughts: for the price I don't know, I used the whole thing to get a pea sized, I don't know how the other people can use it for multiple applications. I rather spend few bucks more on artic silver.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TIM

Pros: Great paste, works better then Artic Silver 5 and does not have the 200 hour cure time of AS 5.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: The people complaining about only getting enough for 1 or 2 cpu applications should really educate themselves on proper TIM application. I have used this 4 times, and have enough for about 2 more.

Currently using this with a custom water loop, FX-8350 @ 5.0GHz with load temps of 51C

5 out of 5 eggsUnbelievable, believe the hype

Pros: So I cleaned the old cpu thermo with the handy 70% alcohol I hadn't used in years (90% pure and others are considered better but still did the job). Since it was my first time ever changing thermo paste, it took me about two dozen or more qtips just to get rid of old thermo off the heatsink (30 mins at least).

I used the drop method, given that it's so thick, I wasnt able to do rice method, immediately after you push syringe you will see it pump out a nice amount and it's going to last , so don't worry if you think it's too much unless you applied way too much pressure. No need to.

Shaved 13 degrees off idle temps for laptop cpu
& 19 celcius max load off (minimum readings in core temp) with game running. In all, it went from 68C to 45C min and 68C to 59C max load readings. I saw huge difference off the bat from boot, and laptop seems to love every bit of it. the copper pipe from the heatsink was already blacked out from the other side, needless to say, so it was necessary.

Do remember to airdust the inner portions under the fan also use toothbrush on the heat-exhaust that connects to the pipes if you're a laptop user.

Cons: very thick, even the spout is thick. you will literally think its a pea if you don't know what it was. maybe run hot water over the syringe for a minute before applying. comes hot, so dont apply too much pressure, almost automatic.

Other Thoughts: came with no fancy plastic just a small sized zip bag, paste does come a bit thick so do as others said, and have warm running water or soak it. although I did not follow any of these methods, just applied at room temperature.

The consistency from a first time thermo changer to another, wouldnt be too thick, hey it's still going to mold when you spread it around, but it's nothing like liquid. It has a wet dirt type of consistency if that makes any sense, thicker than medium for sure.

I will give updates if I see fit.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect.

Pros: My CPU with Antec water cooling with this maxes out my new 6300FX at 33C under full load with prime95 after an hour. Will get around to doing some heavy overclocking during the weekend.

Cons: Not free.

Other Thoughts: While there is certainly not much in the tube, I could still have easily done 5-10 CPUs with what I got. I think quite a few reviewers are putting on waaaay too much... just a drop will cover your entire CPU.

Obviously you still need good cooling and proper application to get these great temps, but good thermal compound helps a lot.
