5 out of 5 eggsLike a champ

Pros: Works great. I always lap my heat sinks and cpus so those of you that say does not work with overclocked rigs, are wrong. If your just slapping it together like most novices do then ya you may have issues. There isnt a cooler/cpu combo that comes off the shelf flat. My numbers speak for themselves. I even replaced the 90cfm Tuniq fan with a 80cfm Excalibur so I didn't have to look at the blue through my case as everything else is red. On an i5-760 @4.0ghz I idle at 29c and full load at no more than 60c. Has been that way since day one. So I say it works great since it keeps my comp cool and does so silently....

Cons: Included paste is garbage, ArticSilver5 or Matrix only IMO. Like another reviewer said MAKE EM RED lol. Oh and this thing does not pick up alien radio signals, big letdown there.

Other Thoughts: My specs are as follows.
I5-760 @4.0ghz 1.3ish volts
8gb Gskill ECO @1600mhz 1.40v
Evga P55 FTW200
Evga GTX 570Sc (soon to be x2)
Gskill PhoenixPro SSD
Scythe KAZE SERVER fan control
2x140mm Xigmatech (1in, 1out)
2x120mm Xigmatech (1in, 1out)
1x120mm tt istg (in)
Corsair HX750

All this in a Coolermaster Centurion5-2 which I also HIGHLY recommend!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks cool. Works great. Blue led in fan can be seen through my mesh case.

Cons: A little harder to install to cpu but not bad. Thermal paste that comes with it isnt too great, i chose arctic silver to use instead

5 out of 5 eggsI love this heat sink.

Pros: Comes with all the pieces needed to install it onto just about any new MB. The installation onto my socket 3 took about 5 mins. Beautiful blue LED. I HAVE YET TO GO OVER 32 C. And I do not treat my rigs nicely.

Cons: I would like to state that I do not view the size of this epic heat sink to be a con, but some might. And it is quite large. But I like it.

Other Thoughts: The case mounted fan speed adjuster was a great idea (and maybe it is for some), but I turned it all the way up and mounted it in a blank PCI slot where I never have to look at it or think about it.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat if you don't OC

Pros: at stock settings this thing is amazing, keeps my phenom II X6 3.3 / 3.7 turbo idling around 22c and under full load around 48c in my Silver Stone Raven FT case, am3 setup was quick and easy with a very nice fit on the mounting plate, and great connection face for the processor.

Cons: thermal paste is horrible, glad i bought some arctic when i bought the heat sink. As the pros said this is great for a non oc'd system, however just pushing my system up to 4.0 @ 1.45V makes the idle temp 46C jumping over 75c under load. (don't know how high above that it goes, stopped running Prime95 after 1 test 1 minute in when it was at 78C and climbing.)

Other Thoughts: If you have no intention of overclocking this fan is quiet, works very well, (assuming you follow the directions for instal, and know how to properly apply thermal paste, too many people give things bad reviews cause they think they need 9 gallons of thermal paste.) and looks pretty nice.

5 out of 5 eggsChills my HTPC

Pros: Fits in my NMediaPC Case. Cooling a Q6600 overclocked to 3.2 keeps it at idle 30 and at full load no higher then 60.

Cons: Why does every cpu cooler come with a blue led fan. Why not red.

Other Thoughts: Got this hoping it would fit in my case after measuring since it had the closet spec for height and it did.

5 out of 5 eggsOverclock/Oversize

Pros: I have my i7 950 overclock to 4.2ghz (over 1ghz oc'd). This thing keeps it idle at 90 degrees fahrenheit (32 celcius). I believe that in itself says something.

Cons: This thing is huge. I have a huge case so it didn't matter to me. Also the wire that connects to the fan control isn't that big.

Other Thoughts: Keeps my cpu nice and cool...

5 out of 5 eggsNot 4 Noobs or small cases!!!

Pros: Beautiful HS-Fan / keeps my x6 cool / HUGE!!!
Absolutely Silent!!!

Cons: None for me but if you're new to building you may want to choose a different cooler... The directions are str8 forward enough if you take your time and can follow instructions but if you hurry this you'll probably end up with a overheating problem!!!

Other Thoughts: Ambient temperature 77 F

2 out of 5 eggsGreat fan but....

Pros: Nice tall heatsink with a blue LED fan.

Cons: Doesnt effectively cool CPU. Computer shuts off from over heating after about 1 hour

Other Thoughts: Don't recommend for mid tower cases

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet, much quieter than my case fans.

If you're a fan of the color blue and have a side window case that already has blue LED fans, it will fit right in.

The install was quick and easy on my AM3 system, even having to take off the default MB bracket to install the one with the fan. (I still remember the days of having to use 20+ pounds of force on a screwdriver to force a mounting clip underneath the edge of the CPU socket and back then, that was how it was intended to work).

Cons: Like another reviewer mentioned, 2 tubes out of 2 tubes of thermal compound had hardened.

Other Thoughts: A bit tall, but not so tall that they hit the side mounted fan in my full sized case.

The missing egg is due to the hardened thermal compound. Not a huge issue, but this isn't a budget $15 fan and I expected better.

As always, kudos to Newegg for an extremely fast delivery.
