4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: moves a lot of air!! if you want air flow this is it! also makes a good mini-fan

Cons: a bit loud, but that is expected for the amout of wind this thing makes.

5 out of 5 eggsHighest CFM in a 80mm Fan

Pros: Talk about high CFM in a 80mm! I bought 2 of these fans a few months ago for my Lian-Li case. The case has a built in speed control for the intake fans, so I am able to lower the voltage going to them to lessen the noise. This also lowers the airflow going into my case. However when it does start to get hot in my case, I just pump it up to max speed and my case and CPU cool down by about 3-5 degrees!

Cons: Louder than other fans, but not a problem to me. With the airflow provided by these 80mm fans, you have to understand they are going to be louder than other standard 80mm's.

Other Thoughts: If you want the highest CFM you can get in a 80mm fan, this is the fan for you. Yes, they are louder than other fans, but the CFM more than makes up for that fact. If you don't like it when your computer's fans are running loud and you prefer a more silent setup, please don't buy these and then come back here to compain about them in a bad review.

4 out of 5 eggsworks as designed

Pros: moves a lot of air, works as designed

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I think you'd only buy this product if you were interested in the highest CFM possible at 80mm. Therefore it strikes me a bit odd that people would buy this and then complain about noise.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat fans

Pros: Moves a ton of air, and I really do mean a TON of air

Cons: Loud, but please read on

Other Thoughts: Loud, but for the amount of air it moves I couldn't really find a better match, ratio of airflow to noise is amazing. Lasted like a year and a half, but now I believe it is time to replace them. Not a bad life for a fan that spins at this speed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: I use these as my exhaust fans for my case, they get the job done.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: You should understand that these fans will just roar right along at full speed. And while they have three wires, they do not report _any_ tachometer information to your motherboards bios. Hence they do not make use of any sort of temp speed control.
All of the Panoflo fans ive seen so far run at full speed.

2 out of 5 eggsWaste of money

Pros: Solid heavy frame, spins fast

Cons: Loud, no rpm signal to motherboard

Other Thoughts: Installed the fan, check the rpm in the BIOS, and the fan isn't even sending a signal to the motherboard. Tried lowering voltages to get it to slow down, and the fan still won't slow down even with lower voltages. Think a fan controller will help? Try it, but I doubt it.

Pros: Moves ALOT of air...

Cons: but makes a ALOT of noise doing it.

OK, maybe not ALOT of noise. But it is enough to be distracting

Other Thoughts: GET A FAN CONTROLLER!!

4 out of 5 eggsinaccurate picture

Pros: I'm sure it performs up to its reputation

Cons: The fan in the picture has nothing between the screw holes. However, the fan i recieved is solid between them, meaning it is not compatible with the fan clips on my heat sink. Now i just don't think i can trust the pictures.

2 out of 5 eggsWay too loud

Pros: Moves an OK amount of air.

Cons: I bought this fan to replace the front intake fan on my case. This fan is incredibly loud which I could probably deal with if it wasn't for the fact that when it's going full tilt it emits a high pitched whine which drove me crazy. To top it all off it didn't perform any better than the stock fan (which I have since put back in). The temperature inside my case stayed exactly the same.

Other Thoughts: Unless you plan on using this fan in a loud environment don't bother buying this fan.
