2 out of 5 eggsToo Loud

Pros: The fans definitely move air. Mounting over the ram modules is easy.

Cons: The fans are way too loud. I removed them from my rig after 15 minutes. Spent too much money on something I will not use.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy this again or recommend this product.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Cool!

Pros: Only one that I found on the marked that has a sensor wire. Brackets have holes in them for side air flow. Brackets are also light weight so they can be manipulated easily. Super quiet even at full 3200 RPM speed.

Cons: No Cons!

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Still don't know

Cons: The item looked fine, but it didn't work since it came out the box. I'm strongly disappointed.

3 out of 5 eggsMissing parts to mount.

Pros: Nice dual fan mount.

Cons: Received it missing the side mounts/brackets to attach on to the ram slot...*sigh* anyway decided to use it to place along the side of the gpu's to get some circulation in the mid and lower slots.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't Last long

Pros: RAM cooling is hard! I must say that first off. I have been trying all types of companies for my RAM cooling. I just can’t get one that lasts. Purchased on 4/7/13 and yeah one of the fans is dead already, and the 2nd one is on its way. It was going well up until about a month ago, then I got the nice moaning sound on the first fan. I like the company but this product just doesn’t cut the mustard. Nice effort.

Cons: Wasn't able to get it on tightly on the brackets.
Didn't make 1 year until kaput.

Other Thoughts: I always give at least one good egg for NewEgg.com
I have been when then since the day they opened!

4 out of 5 eggsReplace the fans

Pros: It allows you to mount fans over your RAM.

Cons: The fans are very loud, especially considering their small size.

Other Thoughts: Other fans in system include:
2 Gelid 120mm
3 Silverstone 180mm
2 GTX 670's

These little fans were the loudest by far. I replaced them with Gelid 60mm fans and my rig is back to being quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsBuzzing Fans Are Not Warm Enough

Pros: Easy installation, runs quiet enough in systems where it's necessary (see "Other Thoughts" for more on that).

Decided to install this on (then) new LGA1366 build I was doing because I don't have AC and had all six DIMM slots populated (2x triple channel kits). Figured extra airflow would be a good idea in a system that would experience less them optimal air temperatures and airflow due to the DIMMs being so close together.

Unit has been running almost constantly (I rarely turn my PC off) for over two years with no issues (knock on wood).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have also experienced the fans occasionally making a high pitched buzzing noise. This usually occurs on cool nights when I have my windows open and the air temp in my room falls below 70 degrees F.

I believe the issue is that this unit is designed to be installed as additional cooling in systems that are running hot, and the bearings in the fans are designed for optimum operation in a high heat environment.

When it gets cold whatever passes for lubricant in the fans gets sticky and causes strain on the motors, which produces the buzzing noise.

This extra strain of pushing cold bearings will also cause the fans to wear out faster, which would explain why most people who complain about the buzzing noise also complain about the fans dying.

If your fans are constantly making a buzzing it means you probably don't need this unit. They're good eye candy but in reality most systems do not need a memory cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: This is a great device. It was easy to set up and had it up and running within 5 minutes. It does not add much noise to my rig (although I am running 6x 120mm fans and 2x 140mm fans). Blows nice cool air over my 16GB Gskill Ripjaw RAM

Cons: No cons associated with this product. Been running strong for 1.5 years

Other Thoughts: Antec DF-85 Case
6x 120mm fan
2x 140mm fan
3.5GHZ oc Phenom II Hexcore
16GB Gskil Ripjaw oc 2000
4x 1TB asst drives
2x 2TB asst drives
