  • newegg Cooler and Quieter The H80 includes a low-profile, light-weight cooling unit with a micro-channel copper cold plate and a split-flow manifold. The result of all this attention to fluid dynamics is CPU cooling that's remarkably efficient, with a total noise level that's lower than most stock CPU fans.
  • newegg Ready for Corsair Link Digital The H80 work great with Corsair Link, an ecosystem of hardware and software components designed to give you unprecedented control over your PC. Connect your H80 to the Corsair Link Commander (available separately) and monitor a wide range of parameters, including pump speed, coolant temperature and fan speed, and customize your own performance profiles as well.
  • newegg Control at Your Fingertips The low-profile integrated pump and cold plate includes push-button control so you can select the fan speed and cooling performance setup that best suits your needs. The cool white LED display lets you know at a glance which profile is being used.
  • newegg Easy Installation, Zero Maintenance The H80 includes a double-thick radiator and two 120mm fans. It can be installed almost anywhere you can install a standard 120mm PC case fan, and includes mounting brackets for all modern CPU sockets. The H80 boasts broad compatibility with Intel Socket LGA775, 1155, 1156, 1366 and LGA2011, as well as AMD socket AM2 and AM3. The Hydro Series Liquid CPU Cooler is a sealed, closed-loop system that comes pre-filled and never needs refilling. Tubing is constructed from low-evaporation FEP for a long lifespan. Even the thermal compound is pre-applied. You'll be up and running in minutes.

5 out of 5 eggssimple setup

Pros: like most things purchased from diff companies you need some imagination placing the thing into the case, but the thing works great as soon as you find out the 2011 LGA bolts are on the picture manual once, which i missed. oops. other than my mistake nice cooling. it is big (radiator) but if your getting this you prob have a large case, full tower (like me).

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood cooler

Pros: Not super loud, very good at cooling. In AZ, idling around 29-32C and under load, never breaking 59C.

Cons: None so far, a bit hard to install on the HAF box that I ordered.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Cooler!

Pros: This closed loop cooler works great. I keep mine on low and it's not half as loud as what everyone says. On high it is really loud, but I really don't need anything, but low. I have a phenom ii x4 at 4Ghz (upgrading soon) and I never go above 48 running prime 95.

Cons: This isn't exactly the best bang for your buck.
The price/performance goes up exponentially for computer products, but I wouldn't have gotten something different.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had any problems with it so far.
Works great.
Looks awesome.
Worth the money (IMO)
Not easy to install, but it certainly wasn't difficult either.

5 out of 5 eggsbest watercooler ive owned

Pros: all I can say is wow. overclocked my i5 3570k to 4.5ghz idle temp is 27-34c and after 2 hours of stability testing temps only went up to 50-55c.

Cons: none so far.

2 out of 5 eggs2 units noisy

Pros: -cools CPU fairly well
-doesn't block my RAM sockets like some air coolers do

Cons: -expensive
-first unit was somewhat loud out of the box and was RMA's
-second unit was fine and became REALLY loud after a few months. going to RMA again.

Other Thoughts: -save yourself the headache. after trying to RMA this one more time, it's going to be 3 strikes, you're out with Corsair.

2 out of 5 eggsUnreliable

Pros: Does a decent job cooling my overclocked i7-2600k OC to 4.4ghz.
Doesn't get in the way of my tall RAM modules

Cons: The first one I received was very noisy so I sent it back for RMA and received a quiet one. After several months of joy, the second one is now super noisy. The buzzing is so loud that I can't stand using my computer anymore. It's driving me crazy. I wonder if there is an inherent design flaw in the H80 as it seems to be happening to many people.

Other Thoughts: I don't mind paying a premium for nice components, but I completely regret the trouble and frustration I've had with this purchase. It's a shame because I have an H60 on another system that is quiet and works great.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat service

Pros: easy install, great cooling

Cons: Pump grind at around 9 months of ownership.

Other Thoughts: Contacted Corsair about pump grind issue, Corsair issued an RMA and I returned the cooler. Two weeks later Corsair sent me a brand new H80i. Two thumbs up for customer service. am a Corsair customer for life.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Easy Installation on an AM3 socket CPU/Cooler Master Storm Enforcer case
Very impressive level of cooling - my OC'd Phenom II 965 runs 12* C cooler with this than the stock cooler, even with the fans only at 45%.

Cons: Installation is a mild challenge - you definitely need to think it through before you start putting pieces into your case.

1 out of 5 eggsfamous pump grind

Pros: Ease of install, Great in the beginning.

Cons: Developed pump grind. I sent it back as an RMA with tracking. I know they received it. Corsair has yet to contact me. They have had my cooler for a week now.

Other Thoughts: I normally like Corsair products , but this recent failure and poor customer support will cause me to avoid them from now on.

5 out of 5 eggsIf you are looking for one....

Pros: ... then get this one. Spent over 4 years debating to finally bring back my system into liquid cooling. (Formerly user of thermal-take liquid cooling systems... remember the good ole dvd-drive bay reservoirs...?)

# Drops stock CPU temp by 40-50 C

# Easy to install. Almost plug-n-play like, as the thermal paste comes pre-applied and its almost like attaching a sticker on top of your CPU.

# Dual fan. Ensures the push-pull method.

# Fan speed Control. Via Push-button on top of coolant-block .
(Now this would be non-accessible for people utilizing tower cases, which are tucked away in a far far land)
My current setup is a Walltop <--patent pending... lol.. will explain later. So i have easy, open & direct access to it.

Cons: #Price
Given then liquid cooling systems have been in the market for almost a decade now, one would expect the price to be much lower
# Does not include the "Corsair Link Commander" (SOLD-SEPARATELY), so no point getting ALL excited about the corsair link.

Other Thoughts: My systems runs at 15 C idle!! (Yes, i live on ground floor and my system is a Walltop! <--still patent pending.

my Walltop:
i7 920 2.66 OCed -> 2.97 (don't care much about OCing)
EVGA x58 SLI
Samsung pro SSD 128 gb
6 G.b Corsair Dominators
BFG 512mb 9600 GT OC (yes mine still works!!)

I have my entire system setup and stuck on the living room wall, behind my led TV on the right. Using power, SATA cable extensions, and using a thin cardboard box (recycled) as the motherboard base-plate. It looks like there's a computer growing out of my wall. entire project took about 7-9 hrs from start to finish.

My radiator is hanging from the wall at angle such that the cold air its blowing up, is also passively cooling my already cooled NB and its neighboring chip sets.
