5 out of 5 eggsI can't hear anything...

Pros: Fans are very quite
look good and easy to install

Cons: Idk maybe more color rings or something?

Other Thoughts: Needed to replace old fans, they work well push a good amount of air. They come with the little three prong to two prong adapter too if your systems needs it which is nice if needed (sry dunno the name of it)

5 out of 5 eggsSolid fans

Pros: whisper quiet.

Cons: no documentation on the included adapters.

Other Thoughts: the included adapters have a resister to lower the power to the fan, for those situations where you want lesser airflow.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful design and moves air quietly!

Pros: -Great looking
-Can change color between Red/Blue/White
-Quiet
-Easy to mount

Cons: -None!

Other Thoughts: I've seen so many people complaining that these are "impossible" to mount. Have no idea what people are talking about. What are you all a bunch of 10 year olds with no muscle. These honestly are not as difficult to mount as people are describing. Put a little umph into it and use the right BIT so that you dont strip the screws. Its not rocket science people.

5 out of 5 eggsDefinitely Quiet

Pros: These things are quiet. If I had a quiet CPU cooler, my PC would be almost completely silent.

The colors really are a nice touch. Great for most popular colors that cases come in.

Cons: The rings might catch the fins and stop them from moving, but as long as you make sure they're free-moving before you power the fan on, it'll be fine.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiflowwww.

Pros: Superb aesthetics.
Superb cooling.
Superb silence.
Adjustable rings to help color match. (3 included means you can do as I plan to and paint one of the rings a different color, I plan on changing the Blue ring to a Green color for a green theme.)

Cons: Zero cons.

Other Thoughts: These are perfect fans.

4 out of 5 eggsAs least equally as quiet, and moves more air

Pros: I own a Cosmos 1000 case that already includes Cooler Master case fans. I recently bought a Mac Pro (used circa 2009) and was jealous about how amazingly quiet it is, so I embarked on an adventure to make my Cosmos 1000 and Windows PC as quiet as possible. My heat generator is the 125W AMD CPU in my case (as well as my Radeon 5870 GPU).

I replaced two of my Cooler Master fans with these two Corsair AF120 Quiet Edition. I can't say that these are any quieter than my previous Cooler Master fans (I think my old fans were already good quality since this was a 'quiet' tower case), but, I do feel that the Corsair move more air for the same dBA noise level.

More air seems to mean keeping the inside of the case a few degrees cooler, which means my CPU fan doesn't have to run as hard, which means a slightly quieter computer.

I did give the voltage reducer plugs a try but didn't reduce the dBA but a smidgeon.

I start out giving these 5 stars because I can't seem to find anything quieter. (If they are the quietest then don't they deserve 5 stars even though it didn't really improve my particular situation?). They are quiet (but if you already have good quality fans, you don't need these... if you have a cheap Chinese case with loud fan on it then you will love these Corsair fans). They come with the fan, four new screws and an adapter cable that I think is used to slow the fans down by reducing the voltage.

My next job will be to connect all fans and CPU fan to PWM splitter. My understanding is that by using this particular smart splitter, the motherboard will send PWM to the splitter and the splitter will increase/decrease RPM's not only on the CPU fan but all case fans connected to it. This way when my setup is not running hot it can ramp down the speed on all the fans and hopefully get things a bit quieter.

My other goal will be to upgrade to a 95W process and try a fanless CPU heatsink. I think that at least 50% or more of the noise I am hearing right now is my older Zalman fan.

Cons: The power cords on these fans are way, way, way too short and cannot reach the fan headers on my mother board. Extensions would be recommended and for another 10 cents I have no idea why they did not include longer power leads on their fans. Definitely knocking off 1 star for this (arguably you could knock of more stars, since if you can't connect it to your motherboard, you have to use MOLEX, and then the fans will run 100% RPM's whether it's needed or not).

I did not experience any issues with the rubber grommets reported by some of the other reviewers. Maybe this issue has been addressed already, or I received a "good batch" of fans.

Other Thoughts: Overall if your fans are noisy and annoy you, the Corsair Air AF120 are a good buy, and are probably the quietest case fans possible, while also providing great air flow. Beware the short power cords on the fans.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fans, no threading.

Pros: - Looks great in any setup
- Moves enough air and is silent as heck
- Build quality is great (except the rubber mounts)
- Rings can be painted

Cons: The mounts are (rubber) rubbish. Corsair does NOT thread them, so any forcing of the screws WILL BREAK the rubber mounts. Trust me, one of my fans has a broken mount because of this. I dont understand why Corsair doesnt thread them themselves but I cant do anything at this point. If youre mounting them, go slowly and screw it, unscrew midway, screw it, unscrew, and repeat this process until each mount is threaded. Be patient, and dont rush this.

- Could use rings on both sides.

Other Thoughts: Im quite happy with them, besides the mounting problem.

3 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Quiet as advertised
Color rings are aesthetically appealing

Cons: Screw holes are cheap and flimsy.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm pleased with this fans as they are quiet and pull good air these were my main concerns. For the price I'm a bit disappointed in the build quality of the color ring inserts as well as the screw holes. Using the supplied screws resolved in 2 of the plastics pieces becoming bound up on install. I installed 5 fans so take that for what you will. I would still buy them again however due to their performance and looks.
