2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: The fans are very quiet, and you get extensions if the fan plug cannot reach the motherboard. Nice packaging.

Cons: I was disappointed after trying to mount these fans in my case. The rubber mounting for the fans is horrendous. It is difficult to get the screws to be 'snug' and 'flush' because the rubber mounts twist and bind up. If they fixed the mounts I would have given the product 5 eggs. They are no good to me if I cannot cleanly/safely mount them.

Other Thoughts: I hope I can get the fans out one day.

3 out of 5 eggsDisapointed

Pros: Something or other I liked about them, but the cons drove it out of my mind.

Cons: These fans come with three color rings (red, blue & white), but no black. You can't use them without the rings because they are part of the shroud.

The air flow is nowhere near their claims. These manufacturers are either outright lying or they are using a funnel type reducer to boost the air speed when they are measuring.

I'm sure when placed behind a front panel or hard drive cage you will receive very little cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fan Power

Pros: This will most likely come off as a fan boy review but I am just giving my honest opinion of this very interesting product. These are definitely some premium fans that can even compete with NB's but are still a bit lower priced, especially in this twin pack sale price. Honestly everything about these fans is great from the build quality, to the default RPM to noise ratio (granted these are the performance edition ones that are higher speed and a bit louder). More than performance these fans also look beautiful with their customizable rings and clean black aesthetic unlike some other premium fans that look rather unappealing. These fans come with all the accessories that also make them feel premium.

Cons: I couldn't find too many issues with these fans but while nitpicking I found the rings a bit tricky/difficult to remove at first but soon after they became more usable. I also found them a bit expensive but after thinking about it for awhile I now understand.

Other Thoughts: Honestly These are some of the most accurately priced fans I have encountered where the price is very justified. The pricing on these fans seemed a little high at first but once I used them/reviewed them I soon realized that the price really is justified by the exceptional build quality, the rubber bumpers, the fan extensions/undervolt pieces, the ring changes, and the general high performance-to-noise ratio is excellent. These fans have changed me to a corsair only fan (pun intended).

4 out of 5 eggsCorsair power!!!

Pros: ~ Silent thanks to the rubber mounts.
~ static pressure and airflow work hand in hand, great for water cooling rig radiators
~ Looks great with the provided trim rings
~ Best bearings available for any type of fan = Long life and can be mounted in any position without worry of noise or bearing failure

Cons: The trim rings and how they are mounted, as most will not be visible once installed.
The rubber corner mounts need to be more secure or there needs to be rubber inserts so the fan can be installed without the need for screws. This will eliminate the problem some users experience due to the rubber being soft and easily a pain when trying to install and or remove screws holding the fan

Other Thoughts: First and foremost this fan is not for those who are all about aesthetics. The reason being is that the trim rings, while a great idea are usually mounted away from users view so it often gets missed. I agree with another user who stated that it would be more ideal if the trim rings lit up, as so you can visually see it. I personally like the trim ring and have mounted it so they are visible, but I did have to invert my water cooling radiator in order to see them. These fans move a ton of air and actually helped lower my computer temperatures compared to my old fans which moved a ton of air but had almost zero static pressure

5 out of 5 eggsOne awesome fan.

Pros: Best fan bearing available, long lasting, very quiet, sealed, always lubricated!

Due to the bearing design this fan should last a very long time, it's pretty quiet as well. The most important part is no matter the installation the bearing is properly lubricated.

The fan has good enough rpm and static pressure to handle most water cooling needs. I'm using a set in push/pull on a single 120mm cooling a 4770k, they are doing great and pretty quietly. Higher cooling needs might want to look at the SP120 instead, higher rpm, more pressure.

The fan is physically well built, I normally consider a fan a fan but you can tell holding it that it's well built.

Anti vibration mounting points, while this is rarely an issue in a well built case, it's nice to know if I have a slightly loose screw it's not going to drive me nuts. Another bonus is it makes it a bit harder to push a screw in too far and hit your radiator!

Changeable rings are cool for few but they wont be displayed in most cases.

Comes with screws and the best part an inline step down attachment. This really gives you options in your use.

Corsair warranty!

Cons: Can't fairly fault the fan for anything.

A little on the expensive side, but IMO worth it.

I guess the bearing isn't serviceable, but that's part of what makes it so good.

Other Thoughts: The trim rings are interesting but I would be far more interested if they were lite up as they would show in more cases.

I think these fans would be best used on air coolers and as case fans.

They are decent on high fin count radiators but they are not great, RPM is a little too low and static pressure isn't high enough as a single fan solution outside of stock clock speeds or mild overclocks.

I will probably add a set of these to the front of my case as they would make a great direct HDD/SSD.

4 out of 5 eggsGood fans

Pros: These fans move high amounts of airs and the noise level is acceptable at high rpm.

Cons: The screws included in my opinion are slightly to big for the rubber bushings. They can be a pain to get in.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Quality!

Pros: -Good quality.
-Silent w/ good airflow.
-Unique looking.
-3 color rings to match your rig.
-Not flashy.
-Reasonably priced.
-Made by Corsair.

Cons: Not one.

Other Thoughts: I'm running 4 of these on my Corsair H105 (push-pull) and my OC'd 4770K is getting nice temps. Get em if you're looking for quiet, non flashy fans w/ good airflow. Have had em for a while now and they work flawlessly!

1 out of 5 eggsawsome fans ruined by screws

Pros: if you can get them installed this are some great looking fans.

Cons: screws are hard to get in with the rubber around them. one of the screws stripped while trying to get it secure. It was a nightmare to get it out. Had to damage the fan to get the screw out. Hoping newegg will still except this return. the rubber on the fans tears and makes it to much of a pain to install these.

3 out of 5 eggsKeep this in mind

Pros: Excellent airflow for the price (especially when on sale)

Fancy-pants colored rings are perfect for spiffing up your build, or for those of us whose OCD mandates a matching color schemes

Cons: RUBBER MOUNTS TEAR LIKE TISSUE PAPER. They're only held in place by their shape (which fits them into the shape of the plastic frame). Would really benefit from some additional means of securing them in-place (maybe plastic prongs extending from the frame into the plastic?)

Short cables, but extenders for 3-pin fans are so cheap I ain't even mad

Not the quietest, but they aren't jet engines either - I think of it as a perfectly acceptable level of noise. Unless you're obsessed with building the first completely silent PC, these will get the job done just fine.

Other Thoughts: I recently picked up an NZXT H440 for my third build, and wanted to pick up some aftermarket fans to replace those that came with it. I researched for a couple days and found the general consensus was that these fans were the best bang for your buck, and did an all-around good job and keeping any metaphorical fires at bay. Delivery was insanely fast - I actually found them on my doorstop the next day, when I wasn't expect them for at least a week!

Of course I had mistakenly ordered the wrong product - I had actually wanted the Corsair SP120 PWM High Performance fans, but I figured there was no sense in returning them. Nothing wrong with having backup fans, or just using them on my next rig. I stuck them on the front of my case and booted up my system - after an hour of light gaming, my CPU hovered around 40C while still using the crapping heat sink/fan combo that came with my brand-new i5 4690k. That was about 5C cooler than it was under those same conditions previously, so that was pretty sweet in my book.

It was when I decided to move these to the top of my case I ran into a HUGE flaw. See, the screws don't secure to the plastic frame as you might expect. Instead they fasten to a metal ring that's embedded in the rubber bits filling in the gabs in each corner. I didn't realize this when I was first installing them - I just assumed the metal backing when all the way through the rubber and connected to the frame, silly me.

I found this out when I noticed one screw wasn't loosing no matter how much I turned it. The rubber around that metal washer wasn't strong enough to handle the force I was applying and tore away, separating the rubber surrounding that back plate from the rest of the rubber.

Naturally I thought I would detach the fan and try to take off this rogue screw by holding it in place with some pliers - only to tear the rubber in the SAME WAY for two of the three remaining screws. The same thing happened when I tried to uninstall the other fan, since I couldn't get any pliers in there to hold the backs in place while mounted in my case. Thanks to that I now have two BRAND NEW fans each with at least [I'm at work so I don't remember exactly] three of their rubber corners torn to shreds.

IN SUMMARY: After looking at the screws I realized that they are self threading, thus the difficulties with installing them. By slowly working the screws into the mounting holes before installation, you should be able to avoid my problem. Just screw them in a little bit, back it out, screw it in a little deeper, back it out, etc. If you're over-stressing the rubber, either slow it down or use some kind of clamp to hold the rubber-shielded screw backs in place.

Basically, treat these fans the same way you would treat a pretty girl - take it slow and gently, and avoid brute force whatever you do - and you'll have yourself a happy, inexpensive, and (hopefully) long-lasting relationship. With an inanimate object.
