Cooling today’s high-performance PCs is a complex task, and a single fan design can’t meet every need. The fan you use to exhaust hot air out of your case might not be the best fan to mount flush against a heatsink or radiator.

Static pressure is the measure of how well a fan can push air in this type of highly restrictive environment, and this is where the SP120 excels. The advanced design of the SP120 provides the higher static pressure that radiators and heatsinks demand, while maintaining a quiet noise profile. Seven ultra-wide, custom-molded blades deliver high static pressure, and the customized fan enclosure helps airflow move in the right direction. The rubber mounts and the advanced hydraulic bearing system combine high reliability with low-noise operation. It’s an ideal solution for radiator and heatsink use, as well as drive bay intakes, and other locations where you’re mounting a fan directly adjacent to a heat source. Three included colored rings allow you to customize the look of the fan to match the rest of your hardware.

  • newegg High Performance Operating at 2350 RPM, the Corsair Air Series SP120 performance edition delivers a strong static pressure of 3.1 mm/H20 and an expressive air flow of up to 62.74 CFM, perfect for use with radiators and heatsinks.
  • newegg Silent cooling The seven ultra-wide, custom-molded blades offer silent cooling, while rubber mounts and the advanced hydraulic bearing system are combined to give silent cooling.
  • newegg Three colored Rings Three included colored rings (red, blue and white) allow you to customize the look of the fan to match the rest of your hardware.

Pros: Great heat sink fan. I'm not one of the push/pull guys, but this definitely gave me a few degrees of overclocking headroom. Specifics: at least 5 degree Celsius (Under prime95) over the stock fan that came with my Arctic AMD Pro Heatsink (their top of the line model). Corsair's did more with less as this fan gives about 10 CFM less than the Arctic model, all while being just as quiet. *all components are 6 months old except the corsair fan

Cons: *Laughs at the fact that this is a required field*

Other Thoughts: I didn't have to use the screws, as that is how the heat sink works. The rings were something I could care less about, but they're cool.

A very well crafted fan, I applaud you Corsair.

My CPU is an AMD FX-8320 @ 4.0 GHz running (with new fan under Prime95) at 43 degrees Celsius.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for Radiators

Pros: Great fan for radiators which is what I use it for. High static pressure.

Cons: Only thing that bugs is the way the fan is designed. When placed on a radiator, it doesn't seal onto the radiator. I just used some foam inserts to seal it off.

Pros: I attached this to my Corsair H60 liquid cooling solution and it keeps my CPU around 26*C in idle. HAVE NOT TESTED UNDER LOAD YET. It does move a nice amount of air through the radiator.

Doing its job.

Cons: Ok so I have this set up in the back of my HAF 922-XM pulling cool air into my case through my radiator. Will have to say that the noise is kind of annoying mainly cause its higher pitched. More like a whine.

If I take my hand and bring it closer to the fan (from the outside of the case) the noise gets louder and louder. I also have a 200mm on the side of my case and when I place my hand next to that fan no hum, no whine...quiet. I tested the fan outside of the case and it was as silent as a lamb. Either it is not s c r e w e d [won't let me write the review cause it's an inappropriate word...] in tight enough (causing vibration), or it is working too hard trying to pull air through the back grill and through the radiator fins...but that's what it was meant to do.

Maybe installing a second one of these on the other side of the radiator will help the other one out so that it doesn't have to work so hard.

Other Thoughts: When searching up static pressure fans, Corsair is the only brand that comes up for case fans. I find that odd. Hopefully labeling these fans as "static pressure" fans isn't a gimmick to get people to buy them.

Like I said though it moves a good amount of air and is keeping my H60 nice and cool.

5 out of 5 eggsPerformance

Pros: Seriously couldn't think of a better title. Anyway, I've been running the fans for quite a while now, They are on my Antec Kuhler 620s. Yes I have two radiators with these fans. They are plugged in as case fans on my motherboard headers so they're being controlled on auto. Running at 65% 1535 RPM. It generally makes no noise and does a good job cooling. I wouldn't mind if it speeds up and makes some noise when the PC is on load though.

Cons: The noise dampener that came with it should have been slightly more powerful. It lowers the fan to a little over 1700 RPM which still generates some noise.

Other Thoughts: I'm using these fans on my Antec Kuhlers that are mounted on my pair of GTX 560tis.

4 out of 5 eggsJust a little disappointed

Pros: Push a good amount of air.
Stylish if using them where can be seen
Nice access. with package

Cons: I would have to say these are white noise loud. Good if you want to drown out other noises. Almost as loud as typing on the key board loaud.

Other Thoughts: These would be very good if I didn't know better. Had purchased ##### series at the same time. The ??? out perform the CORSAIR. I'm not bad mouthing the fans but have purchased power supplies and Ram memory from the Company and was expecting well "less noise". Hopefully in the future Corsair will fix the white noise problem

4 out of 5 eggscould be quieter

Pros: effective cooling for my h70 only one in pull config @ 1500 rpm idles 31-32 no oc/ 40-41 @ 4.7
getting a stable 4.7 from my 3770k

Cons: only one in pull config @ 1500 rpm of the 2300 rpm it's rated for so it should be more quiet -1 egg

Other Thoughts: still worthy cooling but i'm thinking of switching to a 240 rad like the asetek lclc 240
and getting a second fan to push push perhaps this will drop some temps and quieten down the noise

5 out of 5 eggsSolid!

Pros: Good solid construction. Lowered cpu temps when added to my Cooler Master GeminII. Quiet to me. Aesthetically pleasing! I will now buy one of the Corsair AF120 Performance Edition fans as a rear exhaust to compliment each other.

Cons: Can't think of any. Bought on sale.
