1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Out of Box Mounting Solution

Pros: * Can be mounted using Zip Ties
* Backed by great Corsair Customer Support

Cons: * Same problem as the AF120's
* Corners may or may not allow you to use the screws that come with the product. I had one good fan that mounted just fine and the second worked the first time, decided to flip them to test them. Second fan messed up the second time and the rubber corners ripped. Basically the screws will stop the moment the threading touches the plastic inside of the rubber - then you have a screw sticking half an inch out of the case that you basically have to either cut or damage the fan to get them out.

Other Thoughts: Please just use zip ties from Rosewill to mount these instead of the absolutely horrendous mounting solution that Corsair came up with.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome fans!!!

Pros: Great airflow with nearly no noise! I have been through many different fans and these are by far the best! My computer went from annoying to where I now only here the fan for the power supply, CPU and my hard drives. That is good stuff!

Cons: Minus one egg for the fan blades being so brittle. Not sure if this was a design choice or a design limitation. When I opened the box, a fan blade broke off one of the fans. I was very surprised at how easy they are to break. Fans should be a little more resilient than that. This was the first time I have ever had fan blades break off so easily.

Other Thoughts: If you are careful, you should be happy with these fans. Don't touch the blades if you can help it...ESPECIALLY if they are in motion. Don't try to shortcut the fan's spin down or allow anything to touch them, they will break off.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Fans

Pros: These fans are amazingly quiet and move a lot of air. I got 3 of them to replace the stock fans on my 750D case. 2 for the front and one for the rear

Cons: The power cables on the AF140 fans are not very long. They would not reach the motherboard fan headers from the front of my Corsair 750D case. I had to go to brick and mortar to get a couple of 3 pin cable extensions.

Other Thoughts: Great fans that get the job done. Don't hesitate to pick these beauties up.

3 out of 5 eggsNot very happy

Pros: Pros- Runs quiet as advertised.

Cons: Cons- Three big ones stand out:
1) Does not come with quick start manual. Granted, installing the fan was pretty self-explanatory except....
2) The provided screws appeared to be too large for the holes. Screwing them into place was met with significant resistance. Screws are not flush with case because I literally can't screw them down any more.
3) Customer service was of little help: "Keep trying, maybe try screwing harder". They were able to tell me the screws are self-tapping, and create their own thread.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps a small one page manual would have been enough to describe how the self-tapping screws work or how you need to apply significant force to secure the fan because the rubber columns that you screw into are not threaded. Instead, they included a product catalog.

5 out of 5 eggsRead before purchase/install

Pros: Can be ran on quiet and performance speeds. 3 interchangeable rings to coincide with your case mod. They barely can be heard on perfomance mode. Very quiet. Look awesome in my case. I have red single braided power cables and red tubing for my loop. Match perfectly.

Cons: The rubber hole where the screws turn into to hold the fan are absolutely terrible. It was impossible to get the screws turned in all the way to make the fan hit my case. There was a gap on every corner because as you tighten the screws, the rubber turns to so you can never get them tight. I destroyed one hole because I could not back off the screw get remove the fan to make modifications. Would I ended up doing and highly recommend is honing out the rubber holes with a 3/16th drill bit. This opens up the hole for the screw to be fully tightened and doesn't make the hole to big. Worked perfectly.

Other Thoughts: One thing to note is that the rings can only be installed on one side of the fan (the intake side). They are to be used as exhaust fans which will display the ring in your case.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a fan.

Pros: Runs quiet. Moves more air through my case than my cieling fan. Has pretty rings of color. I'd recommend using the spares as bracelets. Or you could turn them into dream catchers. IDC what you do.

Cons: Doesn't light up. Doesn't cook my bacon. Can't cut my hair.

Other Thoughts: Works well. Spins fast. Just like a teenage child, it consumes my power and spits out hot air.

2 out of 5 eggsIssue with grommets

Pros: Look amazing

Cons: The grommets twisted and one completely broke out. I believe had I prescrewed the screws into the fan before mounting might have been able to avoid this issue.
