5 out of 5 eggsGreat AIO

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: This has kept an i5-3570k OC'd to 4.7 @ 1.28v below 74°C on any core under full load. Only p95 gets it so (unnecessarily) hot. Temps are easily managed running Aida or gaming. No fan noise, no leaks, no problems of any kind after 26 months. Great little piece of gear!

Nice RGB Corsair logo you can adjust to match your rig.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I never meant to be a Corsair fanboy, but every product I've ever purchased from them has been outstanding. What can you do?

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Very easy to install. I put it on the wrong way the first time, but that was completely my fault for not following the instructions correctly. I was able to overclock my i7-4790k to 4.8Ghz stable with this thing, and it barely got above 60C. My CPU went into the "danger zone" for voltage LONG before temperature became an issue.

Cons: The onboard software really wasn't that useful. Any free online tool can give you just as good data.

Other Thoughts: Totally worth it. Absolutely fantastic performance. If I had to do it again, I'd get this exact cooler in my setup. I'm so happy with this thing.

2 out of 5 eggsBe careful with this product

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Kept CPU temps low even during high load.

Cons: I'm writing this review to warn new users that this product may leak over the first several months. The seal around the copper plate is not watertight. The coolant leaked down onto my motherboard's PCI slot and 290 GPU terminals, causing swelling of the port, motherboard shorting, and corrosion of my GPU terminals. Corsair does not guarantee that this product will be sealed properly and will not replace any item that is damaged as a result of a defective unit. This has caused me almost $600 in damage to save my cpu only a few degrees over equally priced air-coolers. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product.

Other Thoughts: If corsair backed their $100+ product with some type of liability warranty this would not be an issue. Don't expect them to replace ANY damaged equipment or offer to compensate at all.

1 out of 5 eggspoor customer service

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: was cheaper in combo deal

Cons: did not cool well from the get go, product leaked after 9 months of use and killed my fx 9590 cpu

Other Thoughts: stay away from corsair they claim to replace anything that is damaged by corsair products but refuse to replace my cpu after sending me a new cooler

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Cheap. Quiet. Nice fans

Cons: No modularity

Other Thoughts: Closed loop systems offer cheap and ready coolers for us lazy folk. I'd still like to see some modularity in the future to, at the least, change tube colors. Its the only complaint I can come up with for this unit. Other than this the unit itself runs flawlessly and reduced my temps significantly. I run an 1100t at 4.2ghz and 47* dimed on Prime. No easy feat. Not bad little cooler

5 out of 5 eggs1 yr owner

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: After a year, so far so good.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Requires cleaning. At least 1 a month I take the fans off and clean out all the dust. Preventative maintenace. No difference than cleaning the dust out of my computer.

4 out of 5 eggsFan died

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Keeps the cpu cool.. but gives off wrong temps.

Cons: According to AMD this model is not rated for 220w AM3+ processors, after thousands of random freezing had to switch to the old processor. Used this with an FX9590 never showed temps reach 40c and usually ideled at 18-19 which people tell me is impossible for that processor. Pc would lock up several times a day with minimal cpu usage - all the while supposedly barely beaking a sweat.

Other Thoughts: Purchased 2 in February after reading tons of iffy reviews. For the past few months been pretty loud one fan kicking off and on lots of whining moaning noises coming from it.. Just figured that was on par with several other reviews stating this. Started sounding like a jet engine, even on low... Decided to look in the link software fans showed no rpms checked connections and only to find one was just plain dead. Luckily the other cooler I purchased has yet to be used just pulled out one fan and switched. PC is running much quiter now on Proformance mode, I barely hear the fans. Oddly enough with only one functioning fan speed shoots up to nearly 3000rpm.

I chose these after reading several amazing reviews of this thing paired with the FX9590. In between lock ups I must admit my pc appeared to be running smoothly while staying nice and cool. I am getting the same exact temps using FX 8350 (125w)

3 out of 5 eggsWorked well then died

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Efficient and keeps temps down.
Fans weren't super loud.
Decently flexible hoses and made of good quality material.

Cons: Motor is noise-y and it ended up dying on me.

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth it if on sale if you dont mind a little noise from the motor.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for price

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: what a great pick up. awesome cooler. keeps my system (i74790k) humming around 30-35 degrees with basic use and maxing out around 55- 60 when gaming with skype and streaming music while running my three screen set up.

Cons: little tricky to install. it will feel loose till you get it all together which causes some doubts but just follow the instructions and it will all tighten up.

Other Thoughts: the kit was one of the best things i bought in my case i love it and it works great. have patience and do it right the first time when installing. it helps to have a buddy around to lend an extra hand as well .

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Stock fans are more than enough to keep the CPU operating at <100 degrees even on lowest settings. Fans are considerably quiet for stock and the pump doesn't make any noise even after a year of almost continuous running. Light on water block is a nice accent and is really easy to change.

Cons: I sometimes receive a CPU fan error on startup, which leads me to believe that the initial startup power draw is probably a bit higher than marked. This should not a problem unless you are right on the line of your max power output.

Other Thoughts: The lines are a bit stiff and I needed an extra set of hands to help hold everything in place while I was installing.
