3 out of 5 eggsGood temps, bad lighting

Pros: - Good temps, but not as fantastic as I expected, only a couple degrees cooler than my old zalman cnps9900max, re-seated and achieved the same temps.

Cons: - Fans are noisy at high temps, it doesn't bug me, but it might drive others insane.

- The pump uses a RGB colour system, recently the blue in my pump stopped working. It's a shame as I have a blue themed system.

Other Thoughts: It's an alright pump, depending on what corsair comes up with in the future, it's hard to say if my next closed loop will be from them.

5 out of 5 eggs240 mm Radiator.

Pros: Works like a charm.
i5-3570k oce'd at 4.7 Ghz won't go above 90 even with linx, intelburn and prime 95 test running at maximum.

Cons: Hope they made the power connection with something else rather than sata connection. but that is just a minor con i think.

1 out of 5 eggsIt's OK nothing to brag about!!!

Pros: It look's Nice !!!

Cons: MY temps on idle are about 31C and my temps climb to about 50C when runing about 5 VM Machines with dual monitors. This is my first Water Cooler!! IM VERY DISSAPOINTED I WAS EXPECTING ALOT MORE FROM THIS LITTLE TOY.

Other Thoughts: This water Cooler Software haves alot of bugs and its very disappointing how Corsair team in charge of this software were very unprofessional releasing something that has been given a lot of people headaches

1 out of 5 eggsGybigp

Pros: For the month and a few days it worked, it worked well.

Cons: Short lived. Turned on, temps were up into 20s (c). Thought it was just a higher ambient, not so. From there idling temp climbed to 40c in a couple minutes. When it hit 59c idling I shut it down. Replaced with stock CPU cooler and wow I'm idling in the 20s again, gaming haven't seen it climb over 42c. Think that pretty much isolates the problem.

Other Thoughts: Contacting Corsair to see what they are going to do about it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking as intended!

Pros: I purchased this with an 8core AMD CPU and a sabertooth motherboard. The temps using AMD bios temp reader, the cpu temps were rising from 30c to around 70c then I would turn off the PC. I then later gave up trying to figure out what was wrong after re-thermaling the cooler and making sure everything was on right. I turned on the PC and waited for the PC to turn itself off. I waited and played a few games for a few hours. Finally I downloaded Core Temp and saw that my cpu while running Arma 2 (max graphics) and world of tanks (Max graphics) the temps were steady around 34c-40c and have realized that the thermal temp reader in the bios is just wrong. Keep up the good work corsair!

Cons: Doesn't refrigerate food.

1 out of 5 eggsWrong

Pros: I'm sure it works great....... when It works

Cons: It just flat out didn't work. Installed it and turned on my computer then the fans never really went full speed and the LED started to flicker and then the fans just stopped spinning. I went to take it apart, to return it to Newegg for replacement, and I found the duel fan connector was broken. I sent it back and I got this email-

Unfortunately, the below item# 35-181-032 WATER COOL CORSAIR|H100I was physically damaged and beyond the applicable Newegg.com warranty coverage as indicated in our Standard Warranty Policy.

For further assistance, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly to see if they can offer repair or replacement of the item(s) under manufacturer warranty. Please use the following link to find the contact info for any manufacturer whose items we carry: Contact Manufacturer.

We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your patience and understanding. The item(s) are currently being shipped back to you and should arrive in approximately 5 - 10 business days.

I appreciate Newegg telling something I already knew. They could have told me this before they issued the RMA for me to spend another $12 for shipping. This water cooler is going to end up costing me almost $30 more which would bring me up to $140. Had I know this I would have never bought it. The worst part is that the damaged product came as is and they won't replace it. From what I'm understanding is they sold me a damaged product and they won't replace it.

Other Thoughts: Normally Newegg is very good with this stuff, but I can't stand how this process has been. I've waited too long to build this computer and I would like my $100+ water cooler to be in it sooner rather than later.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent! (read it back as Mr. Burns)

Pros: Where to start..
Hardware:
Appears to be well built. Love the new style hose over the old ribbed plastic hose. The CPU cooling block looks very good. Diggen the magnetic lock for the latching system. Radiator and fans are the standard for corsair. As for the improved micro-channeled heat plate, I have not taken this one apart to see what makes it different from previous version. The coolant from Corsairs web site says its 40/60 mix antifreeze.

Now where it counts, Performance:
It has been able to give my home build cooling systems a run for it money. I am running AMD FX-8350 OC'd to 4792 MHz. This appears to be the safe max I should run giving my average ambient temperature. At idle depending on ambient, my system will run between 79-86*F, under maxed out load for a few hours, 149*F. Running the CPUv@1.476. I did replace there default thermal past with stuff I use. I am sure theirs is good, but I use what I have proven to myself to handle my requirements. Now I have power supply from Corsair, and according to the software, my CPU power connector is pulling 23.1875A, so that is 278.25W, presuming that the conversion is 85% efficient... That is a whopping 236.51W the cooler is dissipating! My CPU was designed to run at 125wTDP.
I have the fans set up as push in my case. They are very quiet at idle, and the noise is very acceptable at full load; giving what I am asking it to do. I have found they run maxed out around 2.4krps and can move air at 2.1-2.4M\s {that is pushing it through the radiator and case}.

Software:
Strait forward and easy to use. A big plus for me, it reports the CORE temperatures, not the socket temperatures. Just about all other software will report socket temperatures, which are not an accurate. It also reports "H100i Temp", I am not sure if this is coolant and if it is whether it is push or pull temperatures. On the other hand, it could be a sensor on the copper plate. Also gives your system load to.
A nice benefit is the fact that you can set custom fan speeds/temps. Comes in handy for people that cannot leave OEM alone. The software also appears to work with other Corsair Ilink devices. The system tab does allow you to place the live icons over an older model case (in the background), gives you a nice way to get a better visual on what’s going on with your setup. The icons even keep the max rpm on a scale inside the icon, so you can see what percentage you are running at. The software will even detect your graphics card temperatures and fans if compatible\applicable.

Cons: Software related:
The fan speed/temperatures, does not scale correctly when switched over to Fahrenheit. Set your scale in Celsius before you make custom fan speed profiles.

Other Thoughts: This aluminum radiator is sheet aluminum. STOP over torqueing the screws and stripping these!

The system does look modifiable, but of course, you would lose your warranty.

Make sure this unit will fit in your case. Take into account the motherboard components and layout.

My setup:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
MoBo: 990FX R2.0
Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum 32G/1866MHz
PWR: AX-860i
Case: Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green

Case: Rosewill THOR V2 Black
Mobo: Asus Rampage IV Extreme
CPU: 3930K
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
Ram: Hyper X 16 GB
