Cooler - The Corsair Hydro Series H60 is a fantastic choice for cooling. With a new micro-channel cold plate and a split-flow designed manifold, the H60 brings remarkable new technologies to an affordable price point. If that weren't enough, the H60 also features an all-new fan, custom designed to offer enhanced static pressure, which means better cooling.

Quieter - You don't have to sacrifice performance to build a quiet system. Most high-performance coolers use crude, outdated designs that rely on two techniques: put a huge hunk of metal in your case or crank the fan to obnoxiously loud noise levels. The Hydro Series coolers feature innovative, cutting-edge designs that utilize the superior thermal conductivity of liquid over air to provide fantastic cooling at much lower noise levels. In fact, the H60 is similar in noise levels to a 120mm case fan you probably already have.

Easy to Install - Almost any case with a rear 120mm fan mount location can house the Hydro Series H60 CPU cooler. And don't worry about compatibility with your CPU, we've got you covered. AMD sockets AM2 and AM3 are covered, and without having to install a custom backplate, making the H60 a great choice for any modern AMD CPU up to the new Phenom six-core processors. And when it comes to Intel, don't worry about it. Whether you've got Socket LGA775, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366 or LGA2011, we've got compatibility inside the box. That's right, even the brand new Core i5 and Core i7 2x00 series processors are supported, right out of the box.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for something refurbished

Pros: Small and efficient, quiet, cool.

Cons: I felt that the radiator should be bigger but it's keeping a FX 8320 running super cool, max so far is only like 45 Celsius. The screw design for the mounts is kinda poor. They put a screw right behind a hose...very bad on their part. But this is an older edition. The 2013 edition is improved from what I hear.

Other Thoughts: Get one...It may last a year or so but hey water cooled pc sounds great to your buddies, and for 40 bucks who can complain. Just get another some other time.

5 out of 5 eggsPlease with my choice.

Pros: Insanely quiet, can't hear my PC at all now even during heavy loads. Dropped my AMD 1090T from 59C peak to 30c Peak. Normal idle was 35c and now normal Idle is at 20-21c. Very easy to install came with the hardware to use on Intel and AMD sockets. Took all of 5 minutes to completely install.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Unsure why anyone would think this this is loud. I don't even hear the 120mm fan it comes with. Very pleased. thinking about buying for my other PC's even though they don't really need one just because of the noise reduction.

5 out of 5 eggsRMA this one!

Pros: I have added three of these units, including several H55's and H80i's to PC's over the last couple of months. The H60 is by far the easiest to install.

Cons: It was broken in the box. The box was soaking wet. The unit must have been damage during shipping. Not taking any stars off of this because I am not sure how it was damaged.

Other Thoughts: one out of over a dozen ain't bad!

4 out of 5 eggsWorking great so far..

Pros: -Super easy to install for AMD chips
-Flexible hoses
-Decently quite fan (for me anyways)
-Didn't come DOA
-AMD fx 8320 OC to 4.3 idle:25-30c Full load: 50-55c

Cons: -Didn't come with mounting screws for a second fan.. seriously? I had to go pick some up at a hardware store.
-The fan that comes with it isn't the best fan, I recommend picking up 2 bgear blasters (120mm) for 18$.

Other Thoughts: Thinking of upgrading to an H110 so I can push my 8320 further. But for now this works great. Gaming for hours I haven't seen temps go above 45c (BF3, GTA4, Skyrim, etc) all settings maxed out!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks AWESOME!

Pros: Quiet, easy to install, Does exactly what a closed loop all in one solution should

Cons: Not enough hardware. I expected to atleast have the screws to mount a push/pull setup like most do. Nope, only enough hardware to mount one fan.

Other Thoughts: Took my temps down an almost staggering 50 degree F!

overclocked AMD fx4170 (4.7ghz) with my previous Zalman heatsink (huge!) i idled at 42c, gaming I could almost hit 58c at time! after installing this H60 I am now idling at a comfortable 27c and when I'm full bore in BF4, The highest I've seen was 33c.

4 out of 5 eggssimple to install on Intel

Pros: quick easy installation for Intel LGA 1150

Cons: practically no thought went into AMD design, looks as though it is only intended for Intel cooling.

My major dislike about this unit would be the incredibly stiff tubes of which i felt like the radiator barbs were to snap off at any point when mounting, so thus minus one egg, some may minus two, but i'm feeling generous tonight.

Other Thoughts: I would like to see some more thought go into the designing process of the mounting options, the fully custom mount for Intel leaves AMD users feeling kinda... left out of the custom mounting options.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat, While it Lasted

Pros: Installation was pretty simple aside from fitting it into a mid tower case. Temp on my AMD 3.6 ghz quad processor was at 20 degrees C when idle. Barely went up past 50 when playing high end games.

Cons: It stopped working after 4 months, too soon. The tubes are clotted up. This was designed so no one could bleed it unless someone takes the time to modify it.

Other Thoughts: This seems to be a hit or miss deal.

5 out of 5 eggsImmediate 20c drop

Pros: Had an immediate 20 degree drop in cpu temps out of the box. Before install my resting cpu temps were about 55c and after they are 30~35c.

Cons: This was my bad but if you have a top mounted power supply make sure to measure first. I had to mount the radiator sideways and can't put my side panel back on. I guess I have a good excuse to get a new case now.

Other Thoughts: Waiting to say anything about noise. When I first booted up it was pretty noisy but after 5 minutes It was super quite.

1 out of 5 eggs3 RMAs later...

Pros: -Really excellent cooling performance 3570k at 4.5GHz running folding@home (near constant 100% CPU load) only hit around 75-80 degrees C.
-Quiet. High pressure radiator fan would make a loud noise at load but it is relatively low frequency so easily lost in background noise

Cons: -Gotten a clicking from the pump within two months of receiving each cooler. No catastrophic failure just annoyingly loud clicking and gradually decreasing cooling performance. 3 coolers so far with this problem and unless I have really bad luck, you have a decent chance of getting the same.

Other Thoughts: Just don't get the refurb. Save yourself the trouble of RMAing a CPU cooler and buy the retail version.
It really is a great cooler... when it works
