5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans

Pros: These fans are great there a lot quieter than i expected and boy do they move some air.

Cons: It's a bit tricky to mount this in with screwing the screw in the rubber mount on this you have to hold them so you don't accidentally break them. I threaded my screws in the rubber pieces before i put it on to make mounting it easier.

Other Thoughts: Overall these are great and id recommend these to anybody.

5 out of 5 eggsnice fans

Pros: nice fans but I need a 3 pin adapter for each

Cons: but I need a 3 pin adapter for each

Other Thoughts: Nice fans that give a professional look to the build without being gaudy. I coul use a source of 4 to 3 pin adapters.

4 out of 5 eggsPowerful fans, minor drawbacks

Pros: As expected, great airflow for intended application. Easy to install. Color rings are a nice finishing touch - I might paint one yellow to match my setup.

Cons: Only short screws included. The stock photos from Corsair online and on the box show these installed as front intake case fans with longer screws. I was expecting to receive the long screws as well. Fan cables were too short for my desired "hidden" route - explained below.

Other Thoughts: I bought these fans to install as front intake case fans on my Antec Three Hundred Two. This case has a mesh front filter. After researching, I desired to have the best flow possible and these fans, with their high static pressure, looked optimal. After determining the fans did not come with long screws, I contacted Antec to see which screws I needed (some could argue I could have contacted Corsair, sure, but I am more familiar with Antec and chose them first) and Antec promptly shipped me longer screws. They are stainless instead of black, nobody will see them anyway.

As for the installation, simple. I did not encounter any rubber twisting or breaking issues that others describe. Though I will note, the fan cables were too short to run through the proposed slot in the Antec case, behind the hard drive cage and back through the hole cutouts to the board, by about 3 inches. Luckily, the photos indicated they looked shorter than alternatives I was looking at (mainly Cougar), so I ordered a PWM 6" extension Y splitter for about $4 to be used also. Works perfectly.

As for the fans themselves, they work well. I can really feel the pull of air from outside the case. Inside with the panel removed, definitely a lot of airflow at full speed. Coincidently at full speed, they are loud. To be honest, I expected this. Fan expert 3 controls them fine. Though something to note that others have said as well, low RPM ranges do cause some vibration (around 1250-1400 for me). The fans themselves become very quiet at this RPM, but the vibration makes up for it. I've determined 1600-1800 is a good trade off, acceptable air noise and no vibration. This may be human error though, I might try to remount the fans and see if it improves, possible they are not square to the case or tightened screws too much etc.

All in all, I am happy. They weren't overly expensive, $15 a fan, plus the cable splitter. While gaming, I determined it lowered my peak CPU temp from 61 C to 58 C. I'll adjust them further and may still replace my factory CPU heatsink.

3 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected but get it done....I guess

Pros: Great look and aesthetics. Interchangeable color rings make for easy color matching for system themes, and even if there is not one in your color you could easily paint. Build quality is solid, and it doesn't feel cheap.

Cons: In all honesty these fans were a total B to install. The rubber grommets made screwing the fans into my case take a ridiculous amount of time because they would turn along with the screw. You have to thread your own screw holes of course and it was the worst experience of my life. I spent an hour or so installing 4 and I ended up just using 2 screws per and got fed up to the point of zip tying the last one which was just as effective. They do push a lot of air but the grommets I find ineffective. There's still a lot of vibration and noise regardless of fan speed. Higher rpm is higher noise of course.

2 out of 5 eggsRubber rips out.

Pros: Nice and powerful.

Cons: The rubber sockets rip out way too easily. I'm quite unhappy ATM. Three of the five I've ordered are now broken. I will attempt to Rma them but what a hassle it is to screw them in. Taking them back out, even worse. Not exactly a positive factor.

5 out of 5 eggsNice fan

Pros: Easy and secure installation, Nice professional looking install, Moves lots of air with little noise

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I've not had these long enough for a good evaluation, but they appear rugged, move lots of air, and are quiet. I like the appearance instead of the gaudy colors some others us. The easy and secure installation surprised me, but the side panel installation on the Antec 1200 is just a snap in. Now I have three major brands of like ratings to compare.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Air Series SP120

Pros: High static pressure
Durable design
Coloured Rings
Strong, flexible black fan connector
Black screws

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought these to replace the stock Corsair fans included with H105. They are noticeably quieter, not the quietest but move a lot more air. I like the overall aesthetics.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fans, but annoying rattle

Pros: I absolutely love these fans, but I'm fairly sure I have more cons than pros.

Pros-
Great for my H100i push/pull
PWM
Fairly cheap when buying twin packs
Aesthetically pleasing
Not loud (if under 1600rpm)

Cons: Cons-
Rubber fan mounts (requires tough screw driver)
Had to RMA ~2 twin packs due to rubber mounts ripping out the socket
Had to RMA ~3 twin packs due to annoying buzz
Rattling (at certain speeds, they give an annoying rattle sound, almost like a grinding)
I now believe I RMA'd a bunch for no reason (because they all rattled)

Other Thoughts: Corsair/EVGA/ASUS are my favorite brands. Corsair needs to find a way to fix the annoying rattle sound. I seriously opened about 4 RMA's because I thought the rattle was causing them to be defected. When I say "rattle" I'm talking about the way they are mounted. If they are mounted horizontally and blowing air out the case (not sure if this happens when as intake), gravity pulls the bearing down, causing a rattle (easiest way to explain it).

I just received, I'm guessing, my 6th pair of twin packs. Looks like I'm keeping them this time, as I know they are exactly defected.

However, because the fans do work great (besides the rattle/grinding), they at least deserve 3-4 stars. Of course some people done mind the sound, but I'm a person who expect my ~$3000 gaming rig to be quite (not extremely quite). The rattling just upsets and drives me crazy.
