An excellent, quiet choice for heatsinks and radiators

The wide body, low-pitch blades of the SP120 fans combined with the custom housing provides outstanding static pressure and airflow through heatsinks or radiators. With rubberized corners, a quiet and reliable Advanced Hydraulic Bearing, and PWM support for increased fan speed control, the SP120 truly is the strong, silent type.

Included in the box are the three user-replaceable colored rings, in red, blue, and white, so you can customize your fan to match your case's components. Each fan also features blacked-out wires and connectors, so your build looks elegant and clean when done. Available in single and twin packs.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: I placed this on a cooler master hyper 212 evo with TX-4. I can now run my 4690k at 4100 and not hear a sound. I dont go for flashy crazy stuff Im just a gamer and this works great for my silent micro atx build.

Cons: none atm

2 out of 5 eggsScrew whole actually broke off?!

Pros: 1) Quiet
2) Customizable fan rings

Cons: 1) It takes a 4-pin connector (though not a huge problem)
2) A screw hole broke off in my case, and is stuck there.

CONTINUED: After the first time I screwedd the fan into my case, I heard some rattling, so I decided I should remove the fan and adjust it. When I was unscrewing the second to last screw, the guts of that hole the screw was in ALL came out of the fan (from one grey screw socket through the other end). Now I'm left with some form of block obstructing me from installing another fan there, unless I mend the case with pryers, which will indeed scrape paint and cause other problems.

Other Thoughts: Maybe this fan was a bad batch, but I will still buy more of these in the future.

1 out of 5 eggsMounting FAIL

Pros: 1) Quiet
2) Sexy

Cons: The mounting for this type of fan is terrible. When I tried to screw it into my case for the first time, one of the grey rubber pads tore, consequently, I couldn't screw any further, nor would the screw come out! Today when I bought the high pressure version of this fan, I tried to take this fan out, but one of the screws broke off the components of the internal grey part of the fan and got stuck inside my case. I had to get pryers and mend my case to remove the screw, but that caused me to scrape the paint off my case as well as bend it into an awkward position. I'm never buying this fan again, and I advise everyone reading this not to take the risk.

5 out of 5 eggsI can't hear this fan at all!!

Pros: As it says in the name, QUIET!

Cons: I didn't order enough to replace all my case fans.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to go on a CM Hyper Evo 212 to replace my stock AMD cooler. When I powered up my pc I had to open case to make sure the thing was even on.

Running the fan at just 30% it has already dropped my idle temps by 10C!! was idling at 40C, now it's yet to go above 30C.

I am definitely buying more of these fan when I build my gaming PC in a few months.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but PWM faulty

Pros: VERY quiet, even when connected to a 12v Molex to Fan adapter.
Color rings add a slight customization and are easy to change, even with the fan running (long as you're careful).
Rubber mounting points for anti-vibration.

Cons: PWM didn't work for the one I got. Sensors had it running from 400Rpm all the way to 16,000!
The rubber mounting areas are a little tight if you are trying to pull a rubber mounting peg through, but not really worth an egg, unless you change fans often.
Cable not sleeved. (But it is black, so no eggs removed)

Other Thoughts: Wish the PWM would have worked, but considering this is a Static Pressure used in the push of a Push/pull config, I suppose it's better in the long run that it's running a steady pressure off a molex adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsVery pleased

Pros: - Looks great
- Solidly built
- Rubber reducers for vibration
- Color ring options
- Very quiet
- Works well and looks great on a radiator

Cons: - A little pricey, but you're paying for quality. Easily noticeable difference between stock case fans.
- Can't mount the color ring on both sides.

Nothing major enough to deduct an egg.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these SP120's to replace the stock fans that came with my Corsair H80 liquid cooler. The stock fans we crazy loud during start up because the liquid cooler bumps their RPM's up very high for a few seconds as a stress test and to make sure they're functioning properly. Seriously sounded like a small leaf-blower. Never had my computer be so loud. It was almost comical.

Then I installed these two SP120's to my radiator and that deafening sounds went away completely. They're very very quiet and I don't notice anything during the H80's start up routine. Plus, they look great in my case and match my Blue/Black color scheme perfectly.

Definitely recommend these fans. Great purchase.
