An excellent, quiet choice for heatsinks and radiators

The wide body, low-pitch blades of the SP120 fans combined with the custom housing provides outstanding static pressure and airflow through heatsinks or radiators. With rubberized corners, a quiet and reliable Advanced Hydraulic Bearing, and PWM support for increased fan speed control, the SP120 truly is the strong, silent type.

Included in the box are the three user-replaceable colored rings, in red, blue, and white, so you can customize your fan to match your case's components. Each fan also features blacked-out wires and connectors, so your build looks elegant and clean when done. Available in single and twin packs.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: Corsair, of course it's great quality, no cheap flimsy plastics here.
Quiet and performs well.
Looks great, colors look vibrant.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Brought temps down a few degrees across the board coming from stock fans in the case. Replaced 4.

5 out of 5 eggsThey do their job.

Pros: PWM, Very quiet, High static pressure, Easy to install on Corsair H55 pull push setup.

Cons: Colors ring can only be attach to one side of fan, would be nice to choose either side.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Quiet!

Pros: You get what you pay for. Low noise and great design.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought these bad boys to replace the stock EVGA fans on my two 980ti hybrids. Already have two on my h100i radiator and I couldn't be more pleased. These are so much quieter than the stock EVGA ones. Would recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Competent

Pros: Quiet. I mean really quiet. Easy to install. Built in rubber feet where the screws clamp it to the case/cooler/etc. Did I say quiet?

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Used them in place of the stock fans that came with my H100i GTX because a) they had colorful rings, and b) they were quieter than the stock fans that come with the H100i GTX (which is odd because they're basically the same fan).

5 out of 5 eggsReplaced Thermaltake Ultimate Rad Fans

Pros: I used these to replace the three fans that come standard with the Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate
--- Under stress test the standard fans would run at 1700 RPM and be louder than all hell. They also caused some vibration in the 1550-1650 range (some natural resonance issue with my specific case setup). At idle these things would still run at 1000+ RPM.
---These fans ran at 1400 RPM max (of their rated 1450), and I could not tell they were even on. The case fans on half speed were louder than these things on full bore.
---I experienced a mere 2 degree C increase in temperature during stress test (negligible): from 74 C to 76 C max core temp.

Cons: --- The colored rings aren't really circular. They look like they have kinks in them, but this is by design. At a distance you won't notice or really care, just something to be aware of.
--- The rings are only installed on one side, which means if they are used in pull configurations, only the edges of the rings are visible.
--- Only available individually and in two packs; there are no three packs, unfortunately.

Other Thoughts: The performance increase of less noise and lower RPM could be simply because these things are static pressure fans where the standard ones were designed for high airflow. The end result is my CPU cooler fans are now silent. Worth the upgrade.

5 out of 5 eggsThey are quiet... too quiet

Pros: I used these fans to replace the OE fans on my H105, they were getting a bit too loud, and their buzzing sounds was getting annoying.
These fans are super quiet and they have good static pressure for my radiator.

Cons: I wish they made they had LEDs ;)

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: they cool my system well, and are quieter than my other fans. when they're running, I don't hear a difference.

Cons: The screws are a bit wonky. they won't screw in all the way, but they don't rattle at all, so it's tolerable.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Quiet

Pros: Very quiet and pwm controlled. Move air through my 45mm thick radiators very well.

Cons: Had to paint the colored rings green to match the black/green theme of my case. It would have been nice if Corsair included black rings.

Other Thoughts: I have 4 of these fans as radiator fans. They are pwm controlled and typically run at 400 RPMs; I can't hear them at all. When I crank them up to max RPM they make a soft whisper, but are still very quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsbought even more

Pros: been buying quite a few of these things.. yeah yeah not the best on the market but they fit my build style quite well, about 60 of these fans in this current buildout working well, holding good temps on the radiators, and db's are defiantly tolerable.

Cons: could be cheaper

Other Thoughts: Now that Noctua offers thier quieter, better performing fans in new grey/dark grey color scheme that aren't just ugly tan/brown I will likely be using them in the next build unless these corsairs come down in price as I do have like $1000 wrapped up in these fans, ughh...

3 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected

Pros: They look really good.
Got them much cheaper than list price.
They really are quiet.

Cons: Don't cool as good as the fans I bought them replace.
Cables aren't sleeved, for the price you pay they should be.

Other Thoughts: I bought these to replace 2 cougar cf-v12hps on my h60 closed looped cooler. There was nothing wrong with the cougars ... they are very quiet and move a lot of air. I just wanted to move them elsewhere in the case and use the SP120s for the radiator instead to make my pc quieter.

The SP120s actually raised the temp on my cpu. Prime95 tested took only 20 minutes to reach 62c on my overclocked fx-6300. Prior temp was 54c max with the cougars. My 6300 is at 4.2Ghz @ 1.3v, nothing crazy.

I went ahead and just put the Cougars back on and am using these as front case fans for my hdds and ssd replacing the noisy fans I had on there. My computer is now decently quiet, only able to hear the gpu fan now.

These might be a good replacement for some radiators and hsfs. They do normally get good reviews. In my situation they just didn't work as good as what I already had. I got them really cheap on newegg's e bay store so I'm not really complaining. Plus I accomplished what I set out to do, just not the way I intended.
