An excellent, quiet choice for heatsinks and radiators

The wide body, low-pitch blades of the SP120 fans combined with the custom housing provides outstanding static pressure and airflow through heatsinks or radiators. With rubberized corners, a quiet and reliable Advanced Hydraulic Bearing, and PWM support for increased fan speed control, the SP120 truly is the strong, silent type.

Included in the box are the three user-replaceable colored rings, in red, blue, and white, so you can customize your fan to match your case's components. Each fan also features blacked-out wires and connectors, so your build looks elegant and clean when done. Available in single and twin packs.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet with Performance Compromise

Pros: 1) Quiet with decent performance
2) Customizable rings for aesthetics

Cons: 1) Poorer performance than SP120L

Other Thoughts: With fans, there is always a compromise so you have to find out where your priorities lie when it comes to buying fans. Usually there is an inverse relationship between noise and performance so it's best to find the closest compromise between the two.

I prioritize low noise over performance so, but the SP120 Quiet does not sacrifice performance too much for the sake of noise. These fans will run a couple degrees warmer compared to the stock SP120 that comes with Corsair all-in-one water coolers but are quite a bit quieter. The stock SP120 fans that come with my H100i will start up really loud due to their high maximum RPM and the cooler at 100% during startup. The quiet edition fans perform like their name says at startup and all other times.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat airflow, not as quiet as I thought.

Pros: These fans are great at low speeds for cooling things that require high static pressure.

Cons: They're not quiet.

At any speed, there's a hum that can be heard from the motor, and depending on the case you have these installed in, that hum can resonate throughout the chassis and give you some unpleasant sound characteristics. It's not the usual "rush of air" sound that most people complain about, it's more of just a low frequency hum.

I wasn't impressed with them. I have a pair of SP120 PWM High Performance editions and they are MUCH quieter than these at slow RPMs.

Also, the rubber mounts under the screw holes came out of place while screwing the fan onto a radiator. One of them broke entirely! And I wasn't putting a lot of force, either. Be careful when mounting these!

5 out of 5 eggsThey sure are "Quiet"

Pros: - They are almost silent, they are very quiet.
- Look very sexy in any build. You can put on different ring colors.

Cons: - Just "Okay" cooling, but you already should know you are losing performance with the "Quiet" editions.

Other Thoughts: Corsair makes some of the best products on the market, and these fans do not disappoint. If you want a silent, sick looking system, these are the fans for you. If you want really low temperatures, you might consider the performance fans, or another brand.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: Exactly as advertised great static pessure, great quality. And really quiet. Replaced the stock fans on the Corsair H100i and these just as well but are alot quieter. The stock fans on the H100i made a weird grinding/rubbing noise from the bearings, and these are pretty much silent at the lowest setting. Really nice

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Nice touch with the colored rings.

4 out of 5 eggsThey Work

Pros: These fans look really good, the switchable rings allow it to adapt to many system styles (I used red to match my black and red H440) plus my future ROG board, they're quiet, PWM.

Cons: Rings are a bit cheaply made, but not much else to say.

Other Thoughts: They work, look good, and are decently packaged.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Looking Fans

Pros: Quiet.
Moves a lot of air.
Customizable
Look Great
PWM!!

Cons: Blue ring does not match my case LEDs but not a huge deal

Other Thoughts: Only wanted PWM fans, these look great. Have them set as an intake in front of a hard drive bay, and an intake on the side of my case. Improves airflow, and brought my HDD temps down from 38C to 35C with just changing the fan! Replaced stock NZXT Guardian fans with two of these and my case cannon be heard over any other action taking place in my vacinity, so quiet! Love them!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: - Fans look great with different color rings
- Great static pressure
- Quiet
- PWM

Cons: - The color ring can only be used on one side so if you wish to use these fans as an exhaust, the ring will be covered up

Other Thoughts: - These fans do the job that I need them to which is: 2 side intake fans, 1 bottom intake fan, 2 top exhaust fans, 1 back exhaust fan, and 1 heatsink fan.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect replacement fans for my AIO

Pros: Very quiet, perfect for radiators. Speed adjustable by voltage or PWM w/o issues. Different colored rings. Very good price for a 2 pack.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Replaced the radiator fan for my Cooler Master Seidon due to it eventually making a really annoying clicking noise. The Corsair fans are quieter than the CM one ever was and I have lower CPU temperatures on top of that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Radiator Fans

Pros: - I love these fans. Not only do they pull and push a generous amount of air, but they remain barely audible even when maxed out at the 1320 RPM mine get to.
- I have 10 of these on my two radiators combined. Their static pressure is phenomenal. When working with convection, these fans keep everything cool. My GPUs under water don't go above 45 degrees Celsius--granted, there's many factors for that--but I attribute most of the credit to the SP120s.
- In push and pull, they really suck that air out of those radiator fins whether it's a H100 or a Alphacool.
- Despite the high RPM they can achieve, and how well they cool, these fans are extremely quiet. At max, it's a little louder than a whisper.
- The three interchangeable rings they come with allow you to match the fans to your rig's color scheme, whether it's blue, black, white, or red.
- Aesthetically, due partly to the rings and the elegant design, these Corsair fans are gorgeous and won't take away any beauty from your build.

Cons: - They are expensive considering, but you pay for quality. There might be better fans for the money out there, but these are well-rounded, and a must get for radiators if you can't afford Typhoons, Noctua (mis-matched aesthetics?), or something like Noise Blockers.

Other Thoughts: - These are 4-pin PWM fans. They'll work in an open 3-pin connector of course, like on a motherboard, but make sure you have the support if buying splitter cables.
- Avoid using them for case fans.
- Overall, I recommend them!
