4 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: These seem to go on sale a lot as refurbished so I picked mine up for $45 a few months back.
-Looks brand new and was completely sealed up.
-Works great! I get low 30c (even when gaming) in an area where it is constantly 90 F outside.
-Haven't had any issues

Cons: -There was only one problem with the cooler and it is the reason I am taking off an egg. Once installed, the cpu cooler was very loose. I'm guessing this is an issue with the thickness of the motherboard, but I almost melted my cpu. I had to rig it with spacers behind the board so it would fit snug against the cpu. This is also not an issue with just me. There was many post on forums complaining about this.

4 out of 5 eggsTakes a bit of work but...

Pros: Temps idle at 23c

When its all set up and configured properly actually quite nice!

Good price and does a good job

Cons: Came without 4 washers for the fans. I ended up not using them and just using the screws.

The fans were so loud at first.
Cosair Link didnt work at first.
Temps were high at first.

Other Thoughts: Ok so if you are reading this you might have had the same problems as me. I had to change what usb header I had hydro plugged into and it finally popped up in the link software. but the fans werent showing and were so loud! it sounded like a airplane going down a runway!

Well while my computer was on and with LINK software running i unplugged the fans and plugged them back in. BAM they popped up and i quickly put them into quiet mode. now i can actually hear my games and music (Imagine that)

NOTE!!!
the fan plugs may look like female heads but this is not the case they simply have a shield on them to protect the pins from being bent!

Second note

the easiest way to install the key like holders for amd mounting is to screw the nuts onto them and basically put the whole mounting block together before putting it on the cpu this allows you to easily slip the keys onto the basic amd mounting surface.

Another note. IF for some reason your temps are high try switching the fans around. I have a HF XM case with about 6 fans in it. I thought itd be fine to run this RAD as exhaust since i had to put it in the rear fan slot. WRONG. even after reading many people said it wouldnt really matter well i will tell you it does. this baby dropped 10 C when i switched it back to intake. Also! make sure you tighten the nuts down nice and tight so the mounting block makes full contact on your CPU.

4 out of 5 eggsGood the Second Time Around

Pros: Cool, relatively space-saving, nearly new condition.

Cons: Loud at times with stock fans, difficult to install pump with tubing being so stiff.

Other Thoughts: The first one of these ordered had a severely warped copper contact plate, causing poor contact with the CPU and higher-than-should-be temperatures.

The second one seems to be going fine.

Unlike what some people have said, these are NOT brand new units. They come in the normal box, but some fins on the rad were bent on both units, some paint imperfections in the screw holes, and some scratches on the CPU block. Most importantly, the bottom of the box has a "REFURBISHED" sticker and a sticker denoting only a one year warranty, not the five included with the new unit.

Better than a Hyper 212, but not without its flaws :)

3 out of 5 eggsmissing parts

Pros: looks nice

Cons: came with 4 missing mounting screws and washers so I can't even mount the second fan to the radiator. I'm honestly pretty dissapointed and would like a refund. Won't ever be buying a corsair water cooling product again.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product..But Loud

Pros: Great product keeps the PC running at or below 60 C. Easy to install and looks great.

Cons: - The link software is a pain to get to work in the beginning
- Remove factory thermal as it is garbage and I had to do it.
- Fans are loud even at idle

3 out of 5 eggsRefurbished: CORSAIR Hydro Series H80i CW-9060008-WW/RF Water Cooler

Pros: Keeps my CPU cooler than my Cooler Master 212 EVO did but a few degrees. Looked like the product was brand new despite it been refurbished.

Cons: It's loud. I don't know if it's the fans or the speed. I can't figure out how to use the software. The different fan modes don't seem to make any difference.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Deal

Pros: Got this refurb on sale for only $50. I have it on a Fx 6300 overclocked to 4.5ghz at 1.4v and idle temps are in the low 30's. While gaming the average high is 54c with prim95 hitting 64c after awhile. I set it on quiet mode and don't ever bother to adjust it. On quiet mode noise isn't a problem and temp are great so no need to put up with higher fan noise.

Cons: At max speed setting it is noticeably loud. You can tune it out while gaming but it would be annoying if you left it that way all the time. I've had the stripped thread issue others have had on the bottom left hole. However I knew of the problem before buying. Also i don't feel that one it effects performance in anyway. Finally the software can be a bit twitchy in getting it to detect the cooler but once it does your fine for good.

Other Thoughts: None of the issues were enough to drop an egg for me, especially since its much easier to install then the cooler master seidon is. The radiator is big but i've managed to install it in micro atx cases. Just make sure the psu is bottom mounted. Also it adds a fair amount of wires to your case and is a challenge to manage.

2 out of 5 eggsNoise from pump

Pros: Arrived practically new

Cons: Loud fans when not on quiet setting
Corsair Link software is buggy on Windows 8.1

Other Thoughts: Mine has a defect where the pump makes this irritating grinding sound, like a loud hard drive constantly writing to the disk. The sound goes away when the PC is placed on its side, but comes back once placed upright. Hopefully the replacement won't have this issue. Also, the Y-connector cable has a sleeve on the pins - just remove it to attach two other fans.

3 out of 5 eggs1 noisy fan, wrong cable

Pros: CPU (i5) under stress is so far staying below 40C.

Cons: One of the two supplied fans is noisy out of the box and obviously needs replacement.
Also, the provided Y cable to connect the 2 fans has wrong type connectors (female) and needs to be male in order to work with supplied fans.

Other Thoughts: The above cons are very annoying. First, I am not sure if the fans are running at the correct RPMs, since I am assuming that if they were connected to the pump module as directed, it controls their speeds. Now they are temporarily (hopefully) connected to motherboard system fan leads. Second, the noisy fan: it's whining at just the most annoying pitch. I hope Newegg/Corsair respond quick.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

The Y cable connector has a protective black cover to protect the pins, once you remove them they should be the correct connectors for the fans. Regarding the loud fan, if you would like a replacement fan, you can contact us by submitting a ticket at corsair.force.com or calling us at 888-222-4346 and we'll be more than happy to help you.

4 out of 5 eggsWell designed

Pros: Very very well build. This product if definately for the gamers who want to overclock or go liquid but arent comfortable with letting liquids close to the computer

Cons: This product was surprisingly big and took up a lot of room in my case

Other Thoughts: make sure you can fit the radiator part of the product in your case
