3 out of 5 eggsNot bad...

Pros: Keeps even the most taxing system's decently cooled

Cons: Fans, Thermal Paste, Mount...
Mount con has two bad points, first is that all 5 AMD boards I have used the piping leans against the RAM modules in a very heavy way, even without a heat-spreader! The second is below in the other thoughts section...

Other Thoughts: Mount system for AMD system's is just bad... The single style clip setup AMD board's come with is fine for REGULAR heatsink's, not so much for Water cooling solutions...
Corsair would GREATLY benefit AMD users if they provided a replacement mount system like they do for Intel chips, heck even a triple clip setup to keep pressure even across the entire block would be much preferred!

Only 1 failed, and that was 8 months in! Replaced ASAP by Corsair!

5 out of 5 eggsFirst water cooler, love it.

Pros: Great cooler. Keeps my CPU around 31°c at idle with the rest of the case being 35°c

Cons: Really deep, actually measure those dimensions. Measure your mobo to make sure it is going to fit.
The fans stack on each side of the rad which makes the assembly almost on top of my CPU.

2 out of 5 eggsStock Fan Lasted Longer

Pros: Runs quiet
Low profile

Cons: No longer cooling my CPU

Other Thoughts: The unit has run fine for a year and dropped my core temperature considerably vs a fan heatsink. However, it stopped cooling yesterday. The radiator was really clogged with dust. After I cleaned it out (as well as apply TP to GPU and CPU) I thought that it would work. It didn't. I believe that the liquid inside his the issue. Whether it became comprimised over the past year or was faulty to begin with. I've used a stock heatsink for 5-6 years on some comps and this one lasted less than a year. Avoid this product!

5 out of 5 eggsWorking GREAT

Pros: - This thing looks brand new.

- I've had it running 24/7 for about 6 months now with no problems whatsoever.

- Installation was very easy; didn't even have to change the CPU's back-plate to install it.

- Pre-applied thermal paste gets the job done.

Cons: - Included fans are way too loud. I've purchased several Corsair liquid CPU coolers in the past and it's been hit or miss with the fans being loud or quiet...despite all of the fans having the same model number. I would recommend using two Noctua fans if you value silence in your PC. I used two NF-F12 PWM's.

- Beware: Screw holes in the radiator do not appear to be reinforced and are very easy to strip out. I've stripped them out on similar Corsair radiators before so I made sure not to put the "super torque" on my screws this time. I mention this simply with the hopes that it will save someone some heartache in the future.

Other Thoughts: I placed this cooler on a stock-clocked AMD Phenom 9850 Black Edition of mine that has become..."warm natured" in its old age. I've had trouble keeping it under 60 C with medium loads despite keeping the stock AMD heatsink/fan clean and reapplying thermal paste. With this H80i, the CPU now idles below 30 C and doesn't go over 40 C when pegged with any Prime 95 test. This machine is our home's primary Comcast DVR (paired with WMC and an HD HomeRun Prime).

3 out of 5 eggsStock fans are loud!

Pros: Used for about a month now, and I have to say that given I bought the H80i Refurbished for much cheaper It's a fair deal for the overall performance I suppose.

Cons: The fans are loud, and the primary reason I gave this a 3 star rating is the noise factor. The stock fans are just plain unacceptable in terms of noise.

Normally I'd let it go when it comes to air cooling, but because this is water cooling I was expecting It to be a silent solution, but It's far from it..

Yes you could easily buy better fans, but imagine spending full price for this cooler which is $99.99 currently, at that stage I would say it's a complete rip off. You're better off with the highest end Noctua heatsink priced at $99.99..

The Corsair Link software is terrible, and NOT correctly supported for Windows 8 and up. And as of today there is no support, you have to literally use a Registery Edit method to make it work.. =/ Disappointment from Corsair.

Other Thoughts: Final thoughts? Well If you buy it Refurbished I'd say It's good deal, however forget spending the retail price for this product as there are far better quiet solutions out there that perform the same If not better.

If you're looking for silence you WILL have to replace those fans with something better. The will be apparent If you have your desktop on a desk, even at low RPM's.. And even more so on load..

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought this for a new gaming build. Using an AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz. Haven't had any problems, the pump isn't too loud at all. Overall a great experience. The highest temps I've recorded were between 22 & 30 degrees celsius under some pretty heavy loads.

Cons: The only con I really have with this, is that installation is a bit rough. It's quite big and hoses aren't too flexible. It's very close to my ram which makes me a bit uncomfortable. Also, the program that comes with it (corsair link) is a little iffy. It's not entirely needed though, but is good for seeing how hot you're running.

Other Thoughts: It didn't say it was compatible with AM3+ sockets, but it is. I only really knocked off 1 egg because installation was really a hassle and would be better if you had an extra pair of hands. If I had to, I would definitely buy this again or recommend it to a friend!

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: For the price it is an excellent buy...unfortunately my Corsair pump is upside down otherwise it wouldn't clear my RAM with the hoses. With it running in quiet mode it keeps my temps the same as my former air cooler and is quieter. Right now it is 10 degrees Celcius idle...haven't seen it go above 35 gaming.

Cons: With a side window case the logo upside down bugs me..but that is trivial and the fact that it won't clear my RAM.
