3 out of 5 eggsGood for the Price

Pros: Keeps max temps down below 50* with an AMD 8350

Cons: Difficult to mount the radiator portion to the case. For any type of cooling efficiency, it must pull air in from the outside of the case. Does not come with extra screws for mounting a second fan on the radiator which is almost needed. For it to work well at cooling, the fans need to be at 100%. This presents too much noise, considering a 212 evo can cool almost as well and much more quietly.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy this again. It was fun to experiment with, but, when I turn on my computer, I shouldn't have to hear my cpu cooling fans at high rpm's, just to get the same cooling as my CNPS 10 Performa with an extra fan. Yes, it is seated correctly on my cpu (I checked 3 times, applying new AS paste each time). Yes, the water pump is functioning.

2 out of 5 eggsCools well, Very Noisy

Pros: Works as advertised, keeping an over clocked 6600K under control with minimal fan speed.

Cons: The system I build is a gaming computer with a GTX 970, a mITX board, and an Intel 750 NVME SSD. I was looking for a lot of raw performance in a small package that was quiet under normal usage and only moderately loud in gaming. The H90 however sounds like an old school mechanical hard drive hammering away in the case. the cooler is mounted horizontally in the case and if tipped vertically a bit of air rushes through and the cooler quiets down. I left the case like that over night to let the air work its way out and when put back upright the noise comes right back.

Other Thoughts: I used a Fractal Node 304 case for the computer. The cooler would be fantastic if it were not for the noise. I am considering replacing the cooler but if you have ever built a mITX computer you know that if you have to pull the mother board, everything has to come out and currently it is zip tied in and running, as my wife says, "the enemy of good is better"; I should probably leave well enough alone. I will probably deal with the noise until I have to open the case up for an upgrade. If you are considering high speed fans then you will probably not hear the cooler, if noise matters you might want to reconsider your choice.

5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR Hydro Series H90 CW-9060013-WW/RF Water Cooler Manufactured Recertified

Pros: Awesome cooling with this H90 on a G3258 .... yeah its a bit much overkill for that chip, but i'm able to put in an I7479k later and not have to worry about cooling.

Cons: So when I ordered it, I initially didnt think about the fact that i have a Raidmax case that is suited for 120mm fans and didnt realize that this was 140mm radiator and fan. ...

Other Thoughts: I had to mod the ever living hell out of my case to make this thing fit in the front... but boy was it worth all that work.... :) 5 egg cooling refurbed or not. Refurb corsair H90's are as good as new... they do a great job refurburshing items..

4 out of 5 eggsrefurbished?

Pros: I just received this product last night but i will update in the future when I install it.
I wanted to say this item looks completely untouched as if it rolled off the assembly line and was handed to me.
Absolutely amazing job.
if this is refurbished, I cannot imagine how great "new" must be.
this is how you present your product! great job! at 49 bucks it was a deal.

Cons: none yet

4 out of 5 eggsSolid cooling and quiet, but a bit fragile

Pros: Cools well. My Xeon E3-1241 v3 idles at 26, 38 in memtest86+, and 49 running 8 threads of folding. This with the fan all but silent at 800rpm. The water pump is similarly very quiet, I can only tell it is running from a tiny vibration when I put a finger on the block.

Cons: The plastic backplate design is a bit poor. Instructions call for foam spacers between backplate and mobo, and the foam sits on top of a couple of surface mount components on the mobo. Can't be good for those components.

There are little metal inserts to catch the mounting screws - those inserts register into recesses in the plastic backplate. The plastic is weak, and I guess I overtightened a screw and stripped the recess ... now that insert spins freely and I'll probably never get the heatsink off again.

Other Thoughts: I've been pretty happy with these corsair water coolers .. i have the smaller ones in a couple of other builds, they've done well. I was happy to try this larger H90 in the Node 304 case. I found plenty of room to mount with the supplied fan. I might remount the fan that came with the case, in a push-pull, but I don't see much point yet.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet and efficient cooler!

Pros: Quiet
Lower pump RPM than the H60
140mm

Cons: Back plate pin mounts easy to strip

Other Thoughts: My i7 4790K was running idle at 35+ degrees Celsius with the H60 cooler. Since I have a Corsair Obsidian 350D case with capability for front mount 140mm fans, I decided to try the H90. Idle temp now below 30 degrees Celsius and much quieter. The H60 pump speed was around 4200rpm +/- 100 and the H90 is around 1500 +/- 100. Big difference which results in less noise. The pump hum from the H60 is quite audible. Of course the bigger fan on the H90 also contributes to less noise. The only problem I ran into was the pins for the back plate. Since the back plate is plastic it's easy to strip the pin holes when torquing the pump mount screws. When the directions say don't over tighten that's an understatement. I stripped two of the holes just tightening the screws hand tight. Even with the holes stripped out it's not hard to keep the pins secure with a set of pliers. Bought the H90 refurbished and overall I'm satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsRefurbished?

Pros: Came shrink wrapped like a new purchase. Could not beat the price (49.00). Tested pump and it runs real quiet, fan is ok.

Cons: None yet. Planning to use for water cooling my R9 290 air cooled. Replacing fan with a better quality, quieter fan.

Other Thoughts: I have bought refurbished components before and never had one come in its original packaging and shrink wrapped. Like other reviewers stated, I do not believe this is a refurb, If it is then Corsair does it refurbishments real well.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: It works keeps the cpu nice and cold this is something to do when you have time not something to rush though trying to get done.

Cons: The instructions like one sentence and a photo leave a lot of stuff to figure out on your own. Was ready to throw this thing out the window trying to get the thing locked in.

Other Thoughts: Would guess a lot of people buy this open the box see the lack of instructions and don't want to deal with it so it gets sent back never having been used.

5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR Hydro Series H90

Pros: Easy install, good CPU temperatures and it looked like it was brand new. This is the first time I've bought something refurbished... I think I'll start buying refurbished more often.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Will update a few months later if I can remember

5 out of 5 eggsWill cool down almost anything.

Pros: - Cools down my AMD 8350 under heavy load (80-90% and I go barely passed 65).

- Very quiet. I hear the sound of the 140mm fan, which is still quiet, more so than the pump or radiator.

- It comes with parts for both AMD processors and Intel.

Cons: - Can be a bit tricky to install if you don't follow the instructions and or if it's your first Liquid cooler.

Other Thoughts: Remember to screw in the four screws TIGHTLY or you will end up getting a loud rattling noise from the fan and radiator bouncing back and forth. It doesn't effect it's performance but it can get loud and annoying!
