3 out of 5 eggsSome good/Somebad

Pros: Pros:
- Excellent cooling with low decibels.
- very little amp draw
- super quiet dual ball bearing motor.

Cons: Cons:
- 2 of the 9 ordered were DOA.
- A 3rd fan exploded throwing fan blades allover my case.(no wires or anything touched it)
- Front intake on CM Stacker 830 was slightly touched by my finger...a simple graze and caused another fan blade to break completely off.
- Price

Other Thoughts: I think i'll be going back to ALL Panaflo fans. I've never had one self destruct or break a fan blade by barely touching it... or had TWO dead on arrivals.

4 out of 5 eggsOne annoyance, but pretty good otherwise

Pros: Air noise at max output is quieter than the lowest setting for the stock fans on my P180B (Antec Tricool). Moves air and does it well. What else is there to say?

Cons: When the fan drops below around 70% speed, it starts exhibiting a very distinct electrical buzz, more audible than the fan itself if it were running at full. Since my motherboard's "SmartFan" speed control function insisted upon trying to run both fans at 60% or below when idling, this got very annoying very quickly. It took an override from SpeedFan or nTune to get the speed back up, whereupon the buzz disappeared. As this happens with both of these fans I have, I'm guessing it's inherent to the design rather than a defective unit.

Other Thoughts: I ordered two of these for my P180B -- one to replace the rear exhaust and one as a forward air intake. I ultimately ended up pegging the exhaust at 100% and limiting the intake to between 80-100% though the BIOS. This is noisier than I had expected, but both of these running is still only slightly more noisy than a single Tricool.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a fan

Pros: It pushes air

Cons: Has a little white circular sticker over the back side of the fan (where it blows out)

Other Thoughts: I've got it hooked up to a fan controller. I've also got it on the back of the case, and when it's turned up to full you can hear it's there, but just slightly, I keep it at 3/4 power or so

5 out of 5 eggsnice one

Pros: pretty pretty quiet, quieter@1600rpm than the stock 800rpms that came with my Thermaltake Armor. moves air.

Cons: none? doesnt have sony fluid bearing?

Other Thoughts: I have this bad boy blowing air out at the rear of my case, in a push-pull configuration with the scythe ninja stock fan (8.9db), keeping my q6600@3.3ghz pretty pretty cool (33c idle, 62c load /w prime95)

4 out of 5 eggsNot quiet - but good fans

Pros: They move quite a bit of air. With the AC in my room off and the fans on full blast, 24c ambient temp, my 8800GTS core dropped from 68C idle to 58C. This is in a cooler master 690 case, so I have two of these as side intakes blowing right on the gpu/cpu. With the AC in my room on, I imagine that my gpu idle temp will be approx. 52C.

Cons: On full blast, their noise will distract you from doing anything else in the room. Not quiet, imo.

Other Thoughts: Get a fan controller like the Zalman ZM-MFC1. Turned down, they are still the loudest part of my rig. I would have returned them if I couldn't control the noise level.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple and Subtle

Pros: While these fans don't have the fancy bling bling LEDs that many seem obsessed with nowadays, they compensate by being constructed very well and being quiet. They were overall quieter than the stock fans my case came with and definitely seem to be moving more air than previously.

Cons: If anything the wire with the 3 prong mobo connector seems a bit too short especially if you're trying to mount this on the side or back of a full tower case. I had to resort to using a 3 pin to 4 pin molex converter to actually get this to plug in for the upper back of the case due to the shortness of the wire. Be advised on this.

Other Thoughts: Very solid construction, and quiet too, just make sure you have some 3 to 4 pin converters on hand, I have a feeling they'll come in handy for full tower users.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I use a fan speed controller on my machine. These fans at maximum speed are quieter then my old fans at minimum speed. Sounds like an exaggeration, I know, but it's true!

Cons: I have no way of measuring the fan speed or air flow, but these fans move slightly less air then my old ones... but with a 120mm intake and a 120mm exhaust, the air is still just flying through the machine.

Other Thoughts: Do note that if you use a filter or grill for your intake fans, they will be a little louder because of the restriction of the filter.

5 out of 5 eggssilent , push lots of air

Pros: They push an amazing ammount of air quietly , high quality.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I got 2 of this for my thermalright Ultra-120-eXtreme Push pull configuration for daily use for my Quad Q6600 and it does a great job.
