5 out of 5 eggsDecent!

Pros: Not too noisy. Moves a decent amount of air to help cool the smallest mini-itx/ small form factor/ slimline cases.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Mounted in the rear of an HP slimline S3000 series PC. Works great without a whole lot of extra noise to provide a little extra cooling where needed.

2 out of 5 eggsShort life

Pros: Quiet... at first. Moved as much air as a 40mm ought to.

Cons: I've owned this fan for 3 1/2 months in an always-on application, and the bearings are now shot.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job, keep some zipties handy

Pros: Quiet, except at full speed
Not too expensive in relation to CFM/db
Included two-pin to 3-pin came in handy since the power cord attached to the fan is a tad short

Cons: At full speed, these will make an annoying whirring sound, but hopefully you shouldn't have to deal with full speed very often

As another reviewer mentioned, the screws are useless, keep some zipties handy to secure the fan

It's only a two-pin fan, which means you don't get any RPM reading (3rd pin is RPM info, if there's a 4th pin it's PWM)

A tad fat -- 20MM vs 10MM

4 out of 5 eggsNice little fan.

Pros: Very quiet, moves a decent amount of air for the CFM.

Cons: A bit fatter than some other 40mm fans, this sucker is 20mm tall. I knew what I was getting here and it worked for me, but it might bother/not work for some people. Also, lm-sensors in linux (Debian) seems to have problems accurately reading my fan's RPM. It stays at 0RPM most of the time, occasionally reads around 1700RPM for a while, sometimes a little bit more before going back to 0 again. The fan is definitely spinning at a constant rate, this could be a problem with lm-sensors but I doubt it. I'm using the 3-pin adapter if it matters.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for something to move a lot of air, this is not for you. If you're looking to make your rig quieter in exchange for +3-6c vs a stock fan, great choice.

5 out of 5 eggsReally Quiet

Pros: It's quiet as advertised.
Cable with 2-3 pin adapter is decent length.
Nifty packaging.

Cons: Mounting screws were useless... there's nothing for them to grab unless you add your own hardware. I hope you like zipties.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these to cool a mini-itx computer I built. Just keep in mind that they move as much air as it says they do, which isn't a lot. (The airflow is respectable, though, coming from such a slow fan)

Overall, I like them!

5 out of 5 eggsGreay little fans

Pros: These fans are quiet. I cannot hear them in the case whatsoever. If you have any fans moving more than 800rpm, or an air-cooled two-slot video card, you will not hear this.

Came with a 2-3 pin adapter, always handy.

Cons: I won't call this a con because I know how to read specifications, but for those of you that don't: This fan will not move a lot of air. It does do an admirable job of moving air considering it's sound and size, but it's not an 80 or 120, I wouldn't use it for case ventilation.

The wires are quite short, with the 2-3 pin adapter you get about 8 inches or so.

Other Thoughts: I bought four of these fans, I only needed one but I figured why waste the shipping charge. I have it standing on the back of my videocard, pointed directly at my fanless NB. This heat sink used to be almost too hot to touch. With this fan pointing at it, it is near cold now. From 56c to 28c for 8 dollars. Nothing wrong with that.

4 out of 5 eggsnice fans for the price

Pros: I got several of these fans about two years ago, they're still running 24/7 on the north bridge heatsinks on two of my pc's but one fan has started getting loud. still running but I think these fans do not run forever, but hey....two years 24/7 ain't bad at all!!

Cons: Wish they ran forever?

Other Thoughts: I'm going to get some more of these little guys when they get back in stock

5 out of 5 eggsNice Little Fan

Pros: Quiet, functional. Comes with 2-pin - 3-pin adapter.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Bought as replacement for a fan that went out on my VGA card. Works great! Adapter may come in handy if I should ever want to hook up a 2-pin fan to my motherboard, probably if I wanted to add a fan to a chip cooler.
