2 out of 5 eggsnot that great

Pros: moved a lot of air, 3 pin connector

Cons: died withing a year or two of purchase, was incredibly loud

Other Thoughts: a 100% better choice fan is Cougar fans, super quiet moves a good amount of air and last much much longer, only like $3-4 more per fan, but so worth it...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive, slim, reasonably quiet.

Cons: none to report

Other Thoughts: I changed two ultrakazes and a case standard 120 for three of these because the ultrakazes were generating enough white noise to put me to sleep at my keyboard. Overall, it's a great trade out in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, inexpensive low-profile fan.

Pros: Low-profile case/heatsink fan. Moves a good amount of air quietly. Inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used this fan as part of push-pull configured Cooler Master 212 EVO. It snapped right in and has been helping to keep my modestly overclocked i5 2500K (4.2 GHz) nice and cool. Would do just as well as a case fan.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth it!

Pros: It does the job well, even for a slipstream fan. I have it set to move air through my HDD cage and it does the job perfectly.

Cons: If you have it attached to a fan controler it wont work until the voltage is above 60%. Beware of low voltage.

Other Thoughts: I would have given it one more egg, but because of the low voltage issue i didn't. It's not Newegg's problem, just Sythe.

3 out of 5 eggsQuite, life-span

Pros: High Airflow, Quite

Cons: Shorter life-span

Other Thoughts: I bought this fan to replace the fan in the front of my PC (about a month after replacing the fan in the back). I thought for the price it was a good fan and it has done its job well! However, the life-span of this fan isn't even a year... or for me it wasn't as I don't actually turn my computer off unless needed. About 6 months later it started squeaking, not as bad as the old fan but enough to let me know it's likely starting to go out. Were as the one I bought for higher price with slightly less air flow and higher price (same company as this one though) still hasn't hit it's one year mark and still is quiet.

For the price though it's still a good fan.

2 out of 5 eggsNice fan, while it works

Pros: Good fan, moves a bunch of air and does it quietly. In my case and hardware configuration it resulted in a 5-7 degree drop in the CPU running temperature.

Cons: It died after about a year of use... seems like the bearings probably went bad. I guess my fan was at the low end of the MTBFs.

5 out of 5 eggsfast, furious, and silent

Pros: worth every penny! I also made the mistake of purchasing something cheaper that would "work the same as an 'expensive' one." Look no further. Great fans and really quiet. I have three of them and they make as much noise as one of fan cheap fans.
Got it on sale for$ 9.99 or so. Great price. Oh, they really cool the system down.
Using them in Lanboy Air with Asus Crosshair IV and AMD X 6 @ 3.8 GHz normally.

Cons: that this is a mandatory field!

5 out of 5 eggs2 Month Update

Pros: Have had this now for two months and still working well. I thought it was dead a couple of days ago because it wasn't running but then I found out it was just unplugged. I hooked it back in and it is working fine as it was before. Also, I heard some complaints about this fan leaking oil, but I have had nothing like that so far.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: If you don't have your computer on 24/7 this fan should last you for some time (I heard some complaints on short lifespan with computers on 24/7
