5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised - super silent

Pros: Extremely quiet.

Cons: Doesn't push a ton of air.

Other Thoughts: I needed two quieter fans for a 5-bay external RAID enclosure, so airflow was not a concern. The enclosure has two fan speed settings, and when I set it to low I can't hear the fans at all even when I'm sitting next to it. The high setting makes them a little louder but still very quiet.

4 out of 5 eggsGood quality

Pros: This is a very quiet fan, and while its efficiency ratio is amazing (27cfm to 23dBa)

Cons: its a little too quiet and thus too little air flow for me. I'm gonna look into the 35cfm 30 dBa scythe next time.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome quiet fan.

Pros: Quiet and flexible connections. Swapped out five Antec fans for these. Much quieter with negligible case temperature rise. Have fans set to Turbo mode (least quiet) with ASUS P5Q Deluxe. Very satisfied.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: NEWEGG out of stock and unfortunately had to purchase elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet and Reliable

Pros: The flex bearing sytem will outlast any other fan on the market. Due to the minimal friction placed on the moving parts, the fan runs extremely quiet and minimizes wear and tear. If you use your rig a lot or keep it running 24/7, then this is the fan for you. It pushes more air than any of my current 80 mm stock fans and cannot be heard over any other fan in my rig. The Scythe Flex bearing system is the best fan in terms of pushing air/noise level ratios and reliability.

Cons: It costs a bit more than your average fan but will most likely outlast two average fans. The only issue with this fan is supply. It is almost always out of stock. The secret is out and everyone buys this product as soon as they come in. If you see a "place in cart" button on this page, push it while you still can.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a show fan with pretty lights then this is not your fan. But, people "in the know" will be more impressed with a Scythe Flex fan than any show fan.

5 out of 5 eggsNicw Fans!

Pros: Bought seven of these little fans to replace all the old fans in an Addtronics 8600 case. No comparison as to noise. These spin up nicely at a reasonable noise level ( if 10 case fans running is ever reasonable).

Cons: These little buggers don't have a directional arrow, so you have to play with them first to get the air flow in the right direction.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Nice and quiet. ASUS P5Q-E Fan Xpert lowers the fans to 60% rpm if you set it that way and it gets even quieter. Same CFM or more than the default COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 case 80mm fan has.

Cons: None.
