5 out of 5 eggsQuality and quiet fans

Pros: These fans move a good amount of air at a very reasonable sound level. No silly LED lighting.

Cons: No free shipping on these - come on Newegg.
No cons specific to the fan operation.

Other Thoughts: I bought four of these to mount in a CM690 case - two in the side and two in the top (exhaust).

Pros: Its a fan and i am sure it is good please read my cons.

Cons: Advertisement states fan is 140mm good right, well no, fan mounts to 120mm, this is not what I ordered, I ordered a fan that mounts to 140mm, What am I supposed to do with this... If I wanted a fan that mounted to 120mm I would have bought one... 10 bucks and now I have to wait another week to get a replacement, thank you for NOT putting on the products page that it cannot mount to a 140mm duct.

Other Thoughts: I wonder if it is even worth sending back, I'd probably end up paying for the fan twice in shipping...

Pros: Good airflow very quiet very good quality is a 140mm fan. Very easy install the screw holes work great no real force needed win't in easy.

Cons: none(a little vibration but I think it's because I installed it on my case door.)

Other Thoughts: Worth every peny go ahead buy it.

4 out of 5 eggsnice

Pros: nice. They're more quiet than I thought they'd be, and get really great airflow. power adapter was included for 3/4 pins.

Cons: They seem to be a little more loud when mounted to push air up (exhaust for top of case), than when mounted to push air out (rear exhaust). Inside the case you can't really tell, but when I had them unmounted and plugged in to make sure that they worked, they were noticeably louder in that position... maybe that's useful for someone who demands a quiet system - either way, the fans are quiet...

5 out of 5 eggsVery pleased

Pros: I bought 3 of these for extra cooling in my CM 690 case without many reviews available, but having heard good things about Scythe fans.

They do exactly what they are supposed to- these things quietly (not silently) push a decent amount of air out of the top of my case. It's not a huge amount, but the tradeoff, as always is noise.

Oh, and there's no LED (huge pro)

Cons: Can't really think of any. Lack of free shipping?

Other Thoughts: I'll return here if any of the 3 stops working, but they look to be very solidly made, much better than the CM case fans provided with my case.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet fan, very pleased

Pros: i bought the 1900rpm one from eebay before, and it was silent at 5v and at full 12v there was a big difference in loudness. i bought this 1200rpm one from newegg and it was SILENT at 5v and nearly whisper at 12v. if youre looking for a quiet fan to either intake or exhaust air this is the one to get. ive just switched to using scythe for all my fans, one thing ive done is to lubricate them when you first install, it helps lifespan

Cons: it takes awhile to get max rpms

Other Thoughts: between the 500 1200 and 1900rpm this is just right for me. moves lots of air without being to loud.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet

Pros: Quiet with decent airflow.

Cons: maybe a bit more airflow would have suited my needs better but these work ok.

Other Thoughts: these have been pumping away thru my triple 120mm radiator keeping my 4870's at 40c idle 45 load.

5 out of 5 eggs140mm in 120mm mounting

Pros: Well constructed from dense plastic for the base and motor supports. Fan does mount to a 120mm hole template, good for improving air flow in a case that didn't have a holes predrilled for a 140mm standard fan.

Fan is packed with 3-4 wire molex adapters, that adapter does come with a pigtail wire for RPM monitoring.

Cons: Fans are louder then expected at the full 12volts; however, at around 8-10V, they move lots of air but remain near silent.

Other Thoughts: My P/S has a set of dedicated fan power connections, these are speed controlled based on load and temp -- I highly suggest that users looking for a near silent system, but has the cooling needed for long game nights, get a set of these fans, and make sure that you have some way of adjusting the speed to avoid excess noise.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet, Think would do good as exhaust at full speed.

Cons: With a fan controller, speed changes with EACH start, and may change during the session! Tach don't work under 600 RPM and may not start if shut-down at that speed.

Other Thoughts: Not an impressive fan, both my other 140mm's are better. This one does better as an intake with filter then the Evercool, but not as good as the Streamliner. The 120mm mounting holes may through some off. (both the others included 120mm adapters, although I didn't need them)

5 out of 5 eggsSilent Fan! Low Price.

Pros: Very, very quiet - my 120mm PSU fan is quiet, but louder than this fan!

Cons: You could be misled by the 120mm mount holes

Other Thoughts: My CoolerMaster 690 case has holes for both 120 & 140 fans, but I chose this for it's quietness.
