Pros: Easy to install, quiet enough, cheap

Cons: Too big for my case, had to drill holes for the huge bolts at the end of the heatsink.

Other Thoughts: Crazy looking heatsink! Wish they had a copper one?

Quiet. Cant hear a thing

Pros: My previous fan was using the stock heatsink on a prescott pentium 4. The stock fan was inadequate as it was blazing hot and blazing loud. this huge beast from scythe shut that up instantly and brought the temps down at peak load.

Cons: its huge. tight fit pushing down on the cpu w/ a smaller atx case. but it shouldnt hold you back on replacing a stock heatsinkfan

I gently set the pc down after moving it a few rooms and the heatsink made a dull 'thunk' and realized that i needed to reseat it.

After taking the whole thing apart and reapplying AS-5 and reclipping it correctly (much easier the second time)
I was shocked at temps overall.

CPU: Intel i7 860 @ 2.80 GHz
Actual temps via speedfan reads:
Idle: 14-18C fan@ below 650rpm
Load: 31-36C fan@ 1000-1200rpm

(Load temp tested wth Hyper Pi (a SuperPi mod) running on 8 threads for 2 million digits three times.)
