4 out of 5 eggsWorked like a charm

Pros: Plenty of heatsinks and Cheap

Cons: Not unique to these by any means, but that terrible epoxy that comes pre-applied.

Some of the heatsinks contact surfaces were obviously in much better condition than others.

Not copper?

Other Thoughts: Used these heatsinks on my XFX Radeon 5770 with the egg cooler and it worked like a charm. After installing these using the Arctic Silver ASTA-7G Thermal Adhesive and replacing the gunk they used for the GPU thermal paste with Arctic Silver 5, I saw an immediate drop in temperature of about 15c.

I would have much preferred some copper heatsinks for this but they seem to be amazingly hard to find in sizes that would actually fit my current cooling solution and these did make a good difference. Well worth the purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsEffective VGA Memory Chip Coolers

Pros: Perfect size for the GDDR5 chips on the ASUS EAH4870 DK 1G Video Card. The height of the cooling fins are just the right size to be mounted on the memory chips of my CrossFired 1GB Dark Knight video cards. The fans of the Dark Knight heat sink/fan combos installed on these cards are strong enough to blow effective amounts of air across these little aluminum chip coolers. Plus the placement of the fan that's installed on the doors window sits right above the two video cards heat sinks, and using a Vantec Tornado 92mm fan to force cool air upon them, these cards run 8 degrees cooler at idle and 15 while gaming.

Cons: The double sided scotch tape originally installed on the chip coolers would have allowed the coolers to pop off within a days usage. I never knew double sided scotch tape was meant to mount anything to a silicon wafer that's expected to heat up and allow heat to pass through it? The junk that came with the coolers that were expected to be used to install these coolers were the only negative thing I could think of that would make me say something against this product, but I won't. Product still gets five Eggs.

Other Thoughts: I knew I was going to need to use Arctic Silver' ASTA-7G Thermal adhesive (thermal epoxy) to mount these chip coolers on each memory module. I didn't read the reviews for this product until after I installed these little buggers so I didn't even know about the cheap adhesive tape that came with these coolers until the part came in.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh...

Pros: They seem to keep my 9800 GTX MOSFETs cool.

Cons: As others have said the thermal tape is almost useless. Unless you have gravity helping you out the smaller heat sinks WILL fall off.

5 out of 5 eggsadheres VERY well

Pros: These adheres much better than the ones that come with Accelero aftermarket vga cooling kits.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Even stuck about 8 of them on my motherboards voltage regulators! Helps with massive overclocking.

NOTE: YOU MUST RUB/CLEAN CHIPS THOROUGHLY WITH A QUALITY PENCIL ERASER BEFORE INSTALLING! (dixon-ticonderoga pref)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice little inexpensive set of heatsinks. I installed them in my router, some of the components got really hot.

Cons: No cons accept for my concern for the thermal efficiency of the adhesive.

Other Thoughts: 16 (length) x (width) 12 x 8 mm (height) = Large Chip Heatsink (VRAM). Quantity = 16

12 x 8 x 8 mm = Small Chip Heatsink. Quantity = 1

22 x 10 x 8 mm = Thin Chip Heatsink. Quantity = 4

28 x 5 x 8 mm = Ultra narrow Chip Heatsink. Quantity = 1

48 x 23 x 8 mm = Heatsink for HSI Chip. Quantity = 1

3 out of 5 eggsThey do a good job.

Pros: Cool memory on a 8800GT 1GB nicely. Come with plenty of extra sinks.

Cons: You need the extra sinks because they tend to fall off. I even used alcohol to clean the modules before installaion.

Other Thoughts: Wish there were more options on mem coolers.

4 out of 5 eggsworks well i think

Pros: -easy to install just peel and stick
-lots of different sizes
-works on 8800gtx

Cons: -the "stick" on the heat sinks is not to strong and the heat sinks will fall of if you handle the card much after you install them
-the price; 9.xx is high for what you get

Other Thoughts: i cleaned the tops of the chips i used theses on first before installing them and they worked great to this point. As for how much the dissipate the heat i really cant say because i have now way to monitor the chips.
