5 out of 5 eggsGreat case fan for a silent PC

Pros: Silent, low power consumption

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you know why you need such low PRM fan, this product is great. If you expect high air flow performance to cool a 1000W system then look somewhere else and don't complain. This fan is the best thing you can buy out there for a silent system. It is extremely quiet. If you manage to set PRMs a little lower than the default 500, it becomes virtually unaudible even if you sit next to your case in a quiet room. Be advised that buying this fan makes sense only if all other components in your system are quiet and cool. If you have an HDD then it will make 100 times more noise than this fan. The same applies to your CPU fan and power supply. So if you want your PC completely silent you will likely need a fanless power supply and a good lar CPU heatsink. This fan is great for a low power silent PC, which cannot run on passive cooling only. It will maintain some air flow in your system, but don't expect it to blow air like a helicopter. It is not designed for that.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very silent

Cons: very low flow

Other Thoughts: Putting my hand to the fan, you can't even feel the air moving. It's silent because it moves as much air as if it were off.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for what it is

Pros: Its completely silent, moves enough air to keep my hard drives cool

Cons: none, just realize it is not a high volume fan going in

Other Thoughts: It has a nice heavy duty feel to it

5 out of 5 eggsSuper low power

Pros: Quiet, super low power

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: First off, it is a 18 CFM fan. Yes that's low but this fan is great for a low power computer. I have been to tons of manufacture websites looking up the specs. This uses a fraction of the electricity any other fan uses. For an atom or similar processor computer, this fan is great. Don't Complain that is is to low cfm when that is in the specs. I am running this in an atom based computer and wanted the absolute lowest power components. This is the lowest power i could find. It is also pretty silent. If you want more power go with something else, but for a low power system that just needs a little breeze for peace of mind this will work great.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet fan

Pros: For all intents and purposes this fan is inaudible. Any sound you can detect from this fan is extremely silent and not an annoying pitch, more of a low hum and you have to be about an inch away from it to hear it.

NO LED's!!!!

Cons: Low airflow, but you should know that when you buy this fan.

Other Thoughts: For any customer to knock of any eggs due to this fans low airflow is plain stupid. This fan is available in 800 RPM and 1150 RPM models, if you need more airflow, buy those fans. The purpose of this fan is to avoid stagnation of air at minimum noise.

This fan is perfect for me as i have a very cool running system in a case with little airflow restriction (P183 with i5, Torqx SSD, and passively cooled 9600GT)

Be an educated consumer, not an angry idiot.

3 out of 5 eggsYes, it is quite quiet

Pros: The only way it could run with less noise is if it was the propulsion system on the Red October.

Cons: The impeller base stands taller then the plastic mount. So if you wanted to use it as a intake fan (as I did) it does not work. The center of the impeller hits the grate that I was mounting it to. I would have to cut out the center to make it work.

3 out of 5 eggsclarifying

Pros: 31 m³/h is app. 18.24 cfm

Cons: do not know

Other Thoughts: I do not own one, just would like to clarify the capacity of this fan for those who do not understand the metric system and have the mathematical knowledge to do a simple conversion.
(100/2.54/12)^3*31/60
