5 out of 5 eggsBetter than the old S-FLEX

Pros: Very quiet compared to other fans. Fairly efficient, low starting voltage around 2.5V. Perfect for use with a fan controller. Rigid construction and no bearing noise.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just a retort to the review saying these aren't as good as older Scythe offerings. These are actually much better than the S-FLEX fans they replace. The advertised specs are lower, but they are conservative. For example it's claimed these fans use .38A at 12V...that's simply not true. These fans use less than 2W at 12V, meaning .17A. I've compared these directly with the S-FLEX SFF21G, and S-FLEX has a slight motor noise whereas the Kama Flow 2 has none. Compared to a Gentle Typhoon, the Kama Flow 2 is much more pleasing to my ears at sub-1200RPM. The double ball bearing based GTs only come into their own at around 1400RPM or higher where they are untouchable. GTs are more efficient, but the Kama Flow 2s are efficient enough. Unless you plan on using your fans at max RPM 24/7, the Kama Flow 2s are the most rounded fans I've ever tested.

5 out of 5 eggsA good S-Flex alternative

Pros: Reasonably quiet, appears to be of solid construction similar to the S-Flex line.

Cons: Short leads may present issues in full tower cases if your fan header is on the opposite side of the mainboard. This is nothing an extender can't solve however.

Other Thoughts: I was a bit disappointed to find my pet fan, the S-Flex unavailable at newegg but these seem to fit the bill and they aren't much louder at all. I'll be buying quite a few more.

3 out of 5 eggsQuality Fan, Perhaps a Bit Inefficient

Pros: Moves some air, good static pressure, appears to be well-built. I suspect it will last a good while, too.

Cons: Outclassed by previous Scythe offerings

Other Thoughts: This fan spins 300 rpm faster, is 5.8 dBA noisier, draws .18 A more current, and has a MTBF of 30,000 hours LESS than the discontinued Scythe SFF21F while delivering the same CFM.

The three I ordered generate a ticking sound as well as a distinct whine when running full duty. At 50% they're pretty close to silent. I'll use them eventually, but I replaced them with some old school Panaflos for this build (an office NAS sitting in an open room).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: Quite high airflow. Decreased the average load temperature of the GPU in my case by 4C over stock 120mm case fan.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Used this fan in the rear intake of a Lian-Li A05N. It's very quiet. I can't hear it over even low speaker volume.
