4 out of 5 eggsBought 2

Pros: Absorbs Vibration

Cons: Not the best noise ratio to air-flow trade off.

Other Thoughts: Overall decent fans. Should last a long time.

4 out of 5 eggsBad mounting. Excellent fan

Pros: High air output, silent, cool design, rubber vibration dampers. Best fan for the price.

Cons: It would have been nice to know that these fans can only be mounted one way before I ordered so many of them.

Other Thoughts: It'd be great if I could mount it some other way. This is an exhaust only fan.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent buy

Pros: I've bought many of these fans, the first ones from another site, the rest from the Egg, and will continue to do so. I've never had one, that when mounted properly, makes ANY noise other than air movement. And they move a more than adequate amount of air.

Cons: Exhaust only.

Other Thoughts: The best, read: only, way to mount these noiselessly is to screw them down to the case and let the rubber mounts do the shock and noise reduction.

If they made an intake version just like these, I'd snag a few dozen in varying sizes in a heartbeat. As it is, I buy the box-style Arctics for intake fans, or for situations that require either **x**x25 size or for other standard mounts, like heatsink fan replacement.

3 out of 5 eggsLouder than I had hoped in my case

Pros: nice open design
quiet, but only if securely mounted

Cons: mounts only one way
can be very loud in some mounting systems.

Other Thoughts: In my installation, it was actually louder than the stock case fans. I tried it, cringed, and eventually just stuck it in a drawer for future use. It could be the mounting technique used in my case (a plastic spring clip with little studs that fit into the fan's screw holes), so prospective buyers should look at their case and make sure they can securely mount the fan using screws. Also note that it only mounts in an exhaust configuration.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Very quiet when mounted properly. Moves a sufficient amount of air. Like the open case design

Cons: I have a very old Antec SOHO case with fan clips. You can clip to the back fan cage ring, but you ruin the fan's rubber isolation design and get some awful vibration noise as a result. (Case problem, not the fan.)

Other Thoughts: Used a hack saw and drill to convert my case to do a more traditional mount. Silent now that mounting in a way the fan was designed for.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Its a high quality fan and works well.

Cons: Can't be used as an intake fan because it only has mounts on 1 side, the exhaust side.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet

Pros: Great fans, whisper quiet and still move the same amount of air as my previous ones did.

Cons: exhaust only...I would love to put a 120mm size of one of these in the front of my case, but no dice.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the quietest

Pros: Easy install. Like the rubber bushings to help with vibrations.

Cons: Still kinda loud. If I could do without the fan I would.

3 out of 5 eggsJust fix the screw tightness.

Pros: Quiet and it does move a good amount of air.

Cons: Only blows out the back of the case. Hard to screw in. I got 3 of these and they were all a pain.

Other Thoughts: It seems that the fan snaps into a mounting bracket. The bracket installs into the case like any normal fan. This allows you to replace the fan, but not the bracket. I don't know how useful that is. But, its helpful considering how hard it is to screw in/out the bracket; but they should just fix that.
