I like these fans

Pros: Runs somewhere over 400 RPM when set to 12.5% PWM on my motherboard.

Quiet at low RPM. I can't hear it in my case up to about 900 RPM at which point it becomes slightly audible.

Power and PWM pass-through allows daisy-chain of fans to share one CPU PWM header. Can also add a tach output into the end of the chain to send the signal back to the mobo.

Cons: No rubber mounting grommets, just screws.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these. I figured I'd either push-pull my heat sink or place one on the heat sink and another as the rear exhaust fan. I wound up going the latter route and it's working out pretty well. The speed is set to 50% in my BIOS, which works out to a little under 800 RPM on my mobo. It's nice to know as the CPU fan ramps up, if it ever does, the rear fan will follow suit.

Pros: This is actually my second purchase of one of these 120mm fans (I also have 2 of the 80mm and 4 of the 92mm PWM versions in this and 2 other builds). I bought the 120mm's to replace the Antec Tri-cool fans that come with the Antec Solo cases as they require you to monitor the case/CPU temperatures and adjust the speed accordingly (either that or leave them at high, thus defeating the purpose of having the 3 speeds). They run very quietly and move sufficient air to cool the case along with the 2 92mm fans at the front of the case. Most of the time they are completely inaudible. Even when they spin up when I'm using all 4 cores (8 threads) to the max doing computer renderings they are barely audible in this case.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: The first 120mm and 2 92mm fans that I put in a build back in 09/2007 are still working just fine.

Pros: quiet

Cons: doesn't push alot of air

Other Thoughts: if you don't run it off of direct 12v, you're wasting your time. there are cheaper better ones out there
