4 out of 5 eggsMuch better than I expected

Pros: Cools extremely well! My 9800gtx++ is running 10-15 degrees cooler. Idle temps range from 36 (single monitor) to 44 degrees (dual monitor) Playing crysis for 30 minutes gets max temps of 55-56. With the stock cooler I was lucky if temps stayed under 55 idle and about 70 under load.

Cons: Is cheaply made, but what do you expect for less than $25.
The memory heatsinks do not stick well (even after cleaning the memory)

Other Thoughts: I recommend spending a couple more $ on thermal tape just to be sure the memory heatsinks stick for good. This cooler will probably do ok in poorly ventilated cases, but like someone else said, this cooler will do best in well ventilated cases.
I didn't have any problems installing the cooler on my card and I did not have to bend or cut anything to make it work. However, it can be tricky to line up the screws with the holes and takes some maneuvering to get right.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Perfectly silent. Upgradable with a fan if I so choose.

Cons: Came a little close to the edge of the computer case, but still fit fine. Also, make sure you have plenty of airflow in your case, or even this over sized heatsink won't help

Other Thoughts: Sis-in-Law plays WoW on a rig I built her. The onboard GPU fan started making an awful sound, so rather than buy another fan that could develop the same problem, figured I'd just go the silent route. Has worked fine

4 out of 5 eggsWorks, but ugly

Pros: Keeps the GPU cooler than my stock fan, and of course very quiet.

Cons: Seems flimsy, mounting could be a bit better, but works well. orry I had to minus 1 egg for my other thoughts...

Other Thoughts: This cooler is very nice, but bulky and ugly as a two-headed demon child. Sticks out way past any other card I have in the case. If you are a person who has their case closed all the time, it won't bother you, but I leave my side panel open and it just looks hideous.

1 out of 5 eggsIncompatible with HD4850

Pros: None.

Cons: This thing couldn't be installed on my ATI HD4850. The screws weren't long enough. Also, the heat sinks for the memory chips didn't fit the chips.

Other Thoughts: Despite being advertised as compatible with the ATI HD4850, it isn't. I will never buy a product from this manufacturer again.

5 out of 5 eggsKeeping it Cool

Pros: Very quiet :)

Cons: Installation is tricky and takes patience.

Other Thoughts: My HIS HD4670 came with the IceQ Turbo fan which is very quiet. On this card it slows to almost noiseless because unlike most cards it idles at 3W and maxes at 40W. Nonetheless, this quiet fan was as audible as my Zalman CPU fan or my Noctua rear case fan so was still a bit of an irritation.

My GPU now idles 3C cooler than before and rarely goes above 40C. My situation is helped by a front case fan that sits only about 4" forward of the Accelero and blows a plume of air directly into the end of the Accelero.

The tricky part is the installation. The small screws have a fiber washer on the back of the board and a plastic spacer between the board and the Accelero. I ended up taping the screws in place, sitting the Accelero on top of them, then sliding the GPU board off the edge of the table exposing one screw, pulling the tape part way off, and starting the screw into heatsink. It took a few tries.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not fit advertised cards

Pros: Lightweight assembly
Copper core

Cons: Cheap "thermal tape" use to affix heat-sinks to memory means they will fall off at the slightest movement. Since you need to hold the card upside down the affix the cooler to it they will fall right off and get stuck in the grate of the heat-sink.
The screw holes do not fit the placement on an ATI 4850 despite being advertised for this card.
ATI 4850 has more memory chips than this cooler is designed to fit, making it obvious that research was not done on these products.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't suggest you waste your time on this. The annoyance of a loud fan is not half as bad as the annoyances associated with installing this poorly designed cooler.

4 out of 5 eggsCools GPU, RAM sync needs some work for 8800

Pros: Cool's GPU very well, saw temps drop 10 degrees. Very, very quiet, can not be heard over HD spinning.

Cons: Mine didn't come with thermal tape, which caused the RAM syncs to fall off. Ordering some RAM tape to adhere them to the board better, should fix it.

3 out of 5 eggsLooks like it wouldve worked?

Pros: Seems to be put together decently, and wouldve performed as advertised.

Cons: Couldnt really say.

Other Thoughts: I bought this after reading some forums saying it would fit on a 9600gso card, which come to find out is not correct. If you are looking for a coolder for an xfx 9600gso, do not buy this one it will not work, Id recommend the Zalman vf 700, it will fit on there.
Aside from being misinformed about this cooler, i couldnt see much else wrong with it

5 out of 5 eggsPassed the Test of Time

Pros: I installed one of these over a year ago, it's been great. I'm getting another one again for a different build. The memory heat sinks held fast, never a problem. (HINT: preclean card surfaces with 91% alc.) This cooler turns a noisey video card into a silent, cool running part of your system.

Cons: There are no cons if you have the room for it, and you take your time and follow directions with the install.

Other Thoughts: My other thoughts have nothing to do with this item. I shot the Woodchuck, he ruined my vegetable garden.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well for medium-end cards. Best cooler on the market for the price. SILENT! Choose your own fans for it!

Cons: Requires manipulation to fit most cards. For the advanced user only. If you are afraid to cut and bend components, this is not the cooler for you.
