5 out of 5 eggsAlways keeps my builds cool...

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Thick and concentrated yet wet enough not to solidify very easily. It seems to keep the temps down as long as you don't use too much at once. A nice thin covering layer and you are good to go for at least 1-2 years of 24/7/365 day use.

Cons: Can't drink it in the summertime to keep me nice and cool but no cons really

1 out of 5 eggsWORTHLESS!!!

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: None

Cons: Balls up and makes it impossible to cover the whole CPU evenly even if you put the whole tube on it.

Too think to be effective

Doesn't spread evenly

Other Thoughts: Sorry I believed the reviews. I may return it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a life saver!

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Non-Electricity conductive!
Transfers heat very well.

Cons: I didn't know about it sooner.

Other Thoughts: I don't have the steadiest hands and consequently put the non-electricity conductive claim to the test. It was nice to screw up and not have to hit the panic button.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Works great. I switched because it is electrically non-conductive while transferring heat incredible well. As well as the other Arctic formulas that I relied on up to now. It was very easy to spread a thin layer on the processor and my temps went to less that half of what I was getting with the stock heat sinks on both an AMD X4 860k using a Deepcool Gamma 400 upgrade and on an Intel i5 k-version using a Zalman all copper ultra-cool upgrade.

Cons: Expect to use about 2g per application. I bought the 4g tube based on another review that I think was really for the larger size, not the 4g product. In upgrading two PCs from stock heat sinks to high quality ones it took about 3.5g

Other Thoughts: Great product. I wish I'd bought the 15g size.

5 out of 5 eggsTrusted paste from a trusted name

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-2 (4g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: It works as advertised

Cons: It doesn't taste all that great on toast

Other Thoughts: Its been a good solid paste for me and I see no need to switch to the more expensive conductive pastes.
