Pros: - cheap - quiet - easy to install - cools like a champ
Cons: it doesn't make rainbows?
Other Thoughts: Have this guy on a Athlon II X2 240 overclocked to 3.7GHZ, and temps nevergo higher than ~45C full load.. and it stays quiet even when at full blast. great cooler, great performance.. love it!

Pros: Low price. Long life fan and six year manufacturers warranty. Very quiet. Low pitched, pleasant sounding hum if you CAN hear it. PWM speed control by modern motherboards. Super easy and secure mounting, once you learn how. Provides excellent cooling air flow all around to surrounding motherboard components. Doesn't plug up with dust when neglected. None of the older (non-PWM) versions I've installed have ever failed or gotten noisy. This is my go-to cooler for quiet AMD builds.
Cons: May not provide MORE cooling than stock coolers. Larger than stock. Non-obvious mounting method. Fan is not replaceable -- if you try, you will damage the rubber isolation mounts. Plastic fan guard rings are easy to break if mishandled. Max TDP recommended is a 90W CPU. Frequently out of stock. NewEgg's new return policy is less than it once was (sigh).
Other Thoughts: Handle it by the aluminum block or the reinforced plastic mount ring during installation -- don't lift it by the fan (when unpacking you do have to lift it carefully by the fan hub). Mounting is NOT obvious. Loosen the screws to the two catches as far as you can once you've removed it from the box. These coolers are not for the maximum overclock crowd, they are for us budget minded, minimum noise types. For that, they excel. All from the 'Egg.

Pros: Very quiet, even at full thrust. An improvement over the stock fan. It moves more air in the case keeping other components cooler as well.
Cons: Why are cons required? OK. It didn't install itself or come with a pin-up calendar.
Other Thoughts: Tight fit on my M2N32-SLI DLX. Needed to scrape a little plastic from the frame.
