The ARCTIC F PWM forwards the PWM signal from the CPU to the whole case ventilation system. The entire system is cooled quietly, but still offers the superb performance when needed.

  • newegg Versatile Applicable With the standard 25mm frame, the ARCTIC F PWM can be applied as intake or outtake system fan.
  • newegg Silent Operation Thanks to fluid dynamic bearing and the fan holder design, the ARCTIC F PWM is not only quiet, but also highly durable.
  • newegg Quick and Easy Setup Via the PWM signal, the CPU fan is controlled by the mainboard to reach the ideal temperature for the CPU. The PST (PWM Sharing Technology) is forwarding the PWM signal to all other fans inside the system. This way, all fans are spinning at the same speed. This provides silent operation in idle mode, but also gives sufficient performance, when required to offer efficient cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Fan

Pros: Have one in these as a exhaust fan moves more air than the stock fan that came with the case. PWM sharing works wonderfully.

Cons: Fan get a little more dusty than what I thought they would. Just something to keep in mind.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid fans for the price.

Pros: -Hard to beat these fans for the price. You are getting 90% of the performance of higher end fans for half the price.

-PWM "daisy chain" feature is fantastic. You can string 3-4 of these together and only utilize one PWM header on the motherboard. The RPM will only be reported for the last fan in the chain, but it works great and eliminates the need for a fan hub/controller in simpler cases/builds.

-Fans push a decent amount of air and are relatively silent at normal operating RPM.

-Provided wires are a reasonable length.

Cons: -Fans do get loud at full speed. Something to keep in mind if you plan on plugging these into a 3-pin header or molex.

Other Thoughts: Used these to replace old fans in a low end Thermaltake V3 case with a budget build inside. They are doing a great job cooling an overclocked G3258 and a Radeon HD 6970. I really appreciated the "daisy chain" feature with these fans since my motherboard (MSI Z97 PC Mate) only has one PWM case header and I didn't want to invest in a fan hub/controller for such a basic case/build.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat fans

Pros: these things move a good amount of air and keep my rig pretty cool. I put three of these on my 360mm rad and 2 on my 240mm rad. with these fans and my water loop, my over clocked fx 8350 at 4.6ghz and my 980 ti over clocked to 1463mhz the temps on either never get above 46c I personally love these fans and even at 100% they don't make very much noise

Cons: can't think of any.

5 out of 5 eggsReally great fans

Pros: - More quiet than most other fans at this CFM
- Well designed
- Hydro bearing
- 4-pin PWN or 3pin w/ molex adapter
- This particular model allows for daisy-chaining, which to me is a huge plus

Cons: - Cannot prepare me bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Other Thoughts: The daisy-chaining feature is really great for smaller builds that have motherboards with only one system fan header. I purchased three of these to help cool a now RMA'd r9 390 card, and they do a fantastic job especially at their comparatively low noise level.

I've been using Arctic fans for around 6 years now, from case fans to HSF units and I've yet to find anything to really complain about. I do a lot of computer builds and have tried all sorts of case fans, but always keep an eye out for this brand if the budget allows.

No, these are not completely silent, but neither are the exponentially more expensive Noctua, and these look a lot better to me anyway. At eight bucks they're really reasonable, especially with the daisy-chaining feature. There are cheaper fans out there, true, but for how well these perform the price is right. Will definitely buy more when I do another build.

5 out of 5 eggsRidiculously good fan for under $10

Pros: Cheap, PWM, splitters on each fan, fluid dynamic bearing, moves a TON of air (rated at 74cfm which is nuts) for a 120mm.

Cons: Can get a little noisy but being PWM, you can dial it down. Thing does not have to be doing max CFM all the time.

Other Thoughts: Especially with the promo code going on now, not going to find a better deal on a 120mm PWM/FD Bearing fan. Also no LEDs is nice. I don't need a glow kit on my PC to impress someone. My FX8350 stable at 5.5ghz under water will do that...

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: I've had no issues with these fans. They are whisper quiet when your computer is at rest.

Cons: A little noisy on high rpm's.

Other Thoughts: Get a little noisy when you stress your rig, but I guess that's the case with most pwm fans, and you aren't likely to notice it when you are in the middle of an intense game.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fans

Pros: Quiet. Very Cooling.
I put 2 on my CPU heatsink and the temps dropped at a dramatic rate. So I just ordered 5 more for my case. Would recommend.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Perhaps I should have bought one more to replace the fan that came stock with my case? perhaps not? it looks the same and it works well so why would I? My computer is coming together.
