The Accelero L2 Plus is a cross compatible VGA cooler designed for low end to mid-range graphic cards, same as his predecessor L2 Pro but with a wider compatibility and enhanced RAM and VR cooling. A comprehensive RAM/VR cooling set is also included to improve the cooling performance of RAM/VR.

  • newegg Cooling Performance Featuring a 92 mm PWM fan and a cooling capacity of 120 Watts, the Accelero L2 Plus ensures components are performing under ideal temperature. The pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound allows enhanced thermal conductivity from the GPU, thus considerably extending its service life.
  • newegg Enhanced RAM and VR Cooling In order to boost the cooling efficiency of RAM and VR, the Accelero L2 Plus comes with the G-1, an electrically non-conductive thermal glue used to affix RAM and VR heatsinks on the VGA board. Unlike generic thermal tapes, the G-1 offers high thermal conductivity with excellent adhesiveness. Moreover, removing the G-1 is extremely easy without leaving any residues.
  • newegg Virtually Silent Operated by a low noise impeller enclosed in a unique fan holder to reduce the buzzing sound when the fan is spinning, the Accelero L2 Plus is barely audible even running at full load. To enable minimum noise level at all circumstances, the PWM controller enables the fan to run at the optimal speed according to the load generated by the GPU.
  • newegg Multi-Compatible* To accommodate a broad range of models, the Accelero L2 Plus comes with a versatile mounting mechanism and an extensive RAM and VR cooling set consisting of 16 pieces of RAM/VR heatsinks in various sizes. Featuring the CrossFireX and SLI compatibility the users benefit from the optimized performance of a multi-VGA setup. (*The compatibility list is based on AMD Radeon and NVIDIA's reference board layout only.)

5 out of 5 eggsSaved my 6870

Pros: you get everything you need. plus, lots of extras for the price.
keeps my card 20 degrees cooler than stock cooling under load, on a non reference 6870.
is super quiet, even on highest fan setting.

Cons: it Came with 4 Screws for the mounting the bracket to the board, but did not come with the two screws needed to mount the hardware to the bracket. the packaging only contains 4 screws and 4 washers. i had to use two screws from my old hardware to attach the hardware to the bracket. but also the instruction are not very clear as to how many screws should be used and where, i may have miss read and only was supposed to put two screws on the mount, and two on the hardware.

Other Thoughts: i used this to save a non reference smaller, more compact XFX HD6870 1GB (XFX HD-687A-ZHFC) that had lost its fan, and was running at 90+ degrees under load, even when underclocked. my card is not in the list of compatible models, but it works just fine. would highly recommend this product for a quick, cheap fix.

1 out of 5 eggsincomplete

Pros: seems to be constructed well

Cons: No thermal glue (or paste) in package, vram mini heatsinks had residue on them like they had been used and removed (this is not the pre applied thermal paste), my card (XFX 6770) had 2 pin power, the cooler has 3pin and 4pin connectors and instructions that came with this told you to go to manufacturers website for the power adapter for instructions (if you didn't have 4 pins) and there was no installation information on that site. I did not hook it up, and I waited too long to return (my fault obviously). I would NOT purchase this again.

Other Thoughts: This is been my only bad experience purchasing from newegg, and considering I waited to try it out after the return period expired I didn't call them for an exchange (my bad). All of my other purchases from newegg have been excellent.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quiet, low price. Replaced the single fan on MSI 7770, which worked well but had noise issues when busy gaming graphics caused the old fan to pick up speed to cool the gpu chip. Now, low speed temp is 36C. I don't know the high speed temp, but the fan remains quiet. Very satisfied.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I attached the included heat sinks easily on the memory, but did not install the smaller heat sinks on the voltage regulators. I don't expect this to be a problem, but the instructions do call for it. Perhaps purchasers with that "high" tech knowledge can do a better job and get lower temps..

3 out of 5 eggsToo big, SLI/Crossfire beware

Pros: The cooler was one of the few that was compatible with my non-reference 5770 card from XFX.

The supplied cooler fit without any need for modification unlike many others I have used. It's virtually silent.

Cons: The base of the heatsink is too big and overlaps the memory heatsinks naking it so that the memory heatsinks will not fit centered on the memory chips. It's not too bad but it's enough that if you are OCD like me it will bother you. The big problem I have is that the cooler takes up 2.5 slots making SLI/Crossfire configs limited and required me to toss mine out completely due to lack of clearance for the HS/Fan.

2 out of 5 eggsSad

Pros: None, this is a poorly made item with a over priced retail listing.
Should be 12.99$ at MAX!! That should be including shipping too!
Barely does what it's rated.

Cons: Heat sinks are poorly constructed, the glue is a bad idea. Bad quality control.
inefficient VRM cooler design.
Poor pre-applied thermal paste(remove it and use your own).

Other Thoughts: NewEgg is a poor site to buy from, many factors of quality and price has been rendering me to not use this site even more everyday. This site used to be a good place to go and isn't anymore. I don't recommend this site.
They laid off a broken item that they knew didn't work, whoever packed my shipment opened up one of the items and took a RPM limited from one of my 16$.
Stay far away.
Is glued to my GPU and I can't take it off to return the item due to the fan isn't operational due to newegg employees sending out used items and known broken items.
I mean really, I can replace the fan for 14$ or buy a whole brand new one for 19.99$. Really is silly.
Well, end of story is Arctic produces some over priced cooler and newegg has crappyemployees that open the items and rip off their customers.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: keeps your GPU super cool
super quiet

Cons: you will need an ATX board or a micro with nothing below the video card since this thing takes up about 3 expansion slots - didn't knock an egg since its so super quiet and works well for what I needed it for.

Other Thoughts: Ends up my EVGA card was a 2pin fan adapter luckily it comes with a molex to 2pin adapter anyways.

Also keep in mind this is only worth the investment if you have a decent card. Even on sale for $20 this costs almost as much as many video cards nowadays.

3 out of 5 eggsSigh...

Pros: Should have cooled way better than the stock fan on my 650 ti. Also, nice that it comes with little heatsinks for the VRM, Mosfets, and so on...

Cons: After spending a few hours tearing my graphics card out, meticulously installing the vrm heatsinks and main heatsink, all while wrestling my 1-year old away from grabbing everything he deemed interesting... I plugged the graphics card back in, booted the system, only to find that the fan wasn't spinning. That's okay... I'll just try using the molex adapter that was provided... no, that's not working either. Okay, I'll just pull the fan off and use something else I have lying around. No, that won't work either, because a 25mm thick fan attached to the heatsink won't fit in my case. Well, I guess I'll just RMA it!

Other Thoughts: I guess I'll try the vf900-cu from Zalman!

5 out of 5 eggsJust what the doctor ordered

Pros: Keeps my 5770 nicely cooled. Comes with many heatsinks to keep your MOSFETs and RAM chips cool plus they include thermal adhesive to mount them with. Comes with necessary adapters to power the fan which is also a perk.

Will most likely order more of these in the near future...

Cons: Instructions are very vague, would possibly be a challenge for a person with limited skills to install. It wasn't free :)

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Replacement for my GT 630

Pros: Relatively easy installation. Large, quiet fan. Solid build.

Cons: My GT 630 uses a 2-pin fan connector and this has a 4-pin and 3-pin fan connector. Although it comes with a molex to 7V / 12V adapter, I wanted to have my graphics card control the fan. I ended up cutting the plug from the old fan and soldering it to this fan. Simple fix, but not ideal for someone who doesn't have the tools needed to do so.

Other Thoughts: Over all this is a great product. Running 3DMark my GT 630 never went over 43C where as with the stock temps at around 67C. It would have been nice to have had a 2-pin connector adapter included, but the time spent making it was while the thermal adhesive for the RAM and VR heatsinks cured.
