ARCTIC Accelero TT 6990 VGA Cooler - AMD 6990, Dual Quiet 120mm PWM Fans, Extreme Cooling

Pros: Temperature dropped from mid 80's to around mid 60's even after just installing the card and the first time heating it up. The noise level dropped so much. I had been debating on building a ventilated closet just to get my PC out of my office or buy a quieter graphics card, because it was just too loud even with headphones on. With this fan, I can sit next to the case with the side open and not get bothered with noise. It's just as quiet at full load as it is at idle. Worth every penny for me.

Cons: The stock 6990 didn't come like this when I bought it. Would have spent an extra $100 to have it like this from day 1.

Other Thoughts: If you've changed CPU fans before, the install is roughly the same, just the card is much more expensive than most CPUs. Just take your time especially with pulling the stock heatsink off. Also, be sure to keep some tweezers nearby. I used them to get the old thermal pads off some of the smaller pieces.

Pros: Quiet

Keeps temperatures very low.
Bf3 ULTRA settings with stock cooler: 74-75C
Bf3 ULTRA settings with Arctic Cooler: 50-56
Idle W/ Stock Cooler: 37-41
Idle W/ Arctic Cooler: 29-30

As you can clearly see, it is AMAZINGLY cooler.
Also, it is very, very quiet. even on full load.

I will update the review monthly or after a few months to continue to check performance.

Cons: Heavy. Slightly bends if you push down on the card. Nothing extreme to worry about it though, as you obviously won't be doing that.

It is tall. i have the corsair 300r, and my side intake fans literally touch the cooler. It fits though. Barely.

Other Thoughts: although it is pricey, the temperature drop is worth it. Also the noise - you will now finally have a quiet PC.

Highly recommend it.

Pros: So far this is awesome, my system is pretty much well except this card was noisy and actually running quite hot, I averaged 81~90c' with the factory cooler. Running this using MSI Kumbster Highest temperature both my cores saw was almost 70c'. It mainly counts when I play my games, Arma with the settings on my very high I am only getting 55c' at most. So all in all, its excellent.

Cons: It didn't come with the Powercolor 6990 from the beginning.

Cons: I hate this thing just because of the fact that I can't look up radeon 6990 without this thing popping up, it's impossible.

Pros: Great cooler super easy install. Quiet fan awesome rear mounted control. Nice for overclocking. Comes with thermal paste

Cons: Make sure you plugin CPU fan before seating the cooler.

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong with schtye

Pros: better than the stock fan. very quiet i don't even hear it

Cons: Price

Pros: Temps are 15-20C lower than the stock cooler but the noise level is reduced to almost nothing, even in full load mode.
MSI Kombustor at max settings recorded 93C with the stock cooler and 74C with the Arctic Cooler.
