5 out of 5 eggsGood product

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-4 (20g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Good viscosity to it. Easy to apply from the tube and comes with a resealable twist off from the syringe. Transfers heat well like it's meant to do. Came in a nice simple little box with some foam wrap around the point to protect from the cap ripping off and keeping the contents inside of the tube.

Cons: None.

Pros: Best rated thermal compound

Cons: Cap is a little tricky; just a little

Other Thoughts: I love this stuff so far. So do my customers. Use this product on anything requiring thermal compound.

5 out of 5 eggsBest thermals

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-4 (20g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: I had a faulty motherboard and FX-9590 that I went through three closed system liquid coolers and half a dozen remountings. I've used several different iterations of this product and this MX-4 version is comparatively the best I've ever used. I don't have exact numbers, but I've had success with it where others failed.

Cons: Unless you are a power builder, there's more compound than anyone can use in a lifetime in this tube.

Other Thoughts: Over-application is easy to clean up.

5 out of 5 eggsperfect

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-4 (20g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Best all round thermal paste there is. excellent performance.
NON CONDUCTIVE
can be used as thermal paste for just about anything.
cheap to stock up for
having different compounds for different situations is obsolete.

Cons: my own testing shows average thermal 0.66c higher then using metallic conductive AS-5 (3 tests for accuracy on same rig hyper212 evo 8350 4.5ghz)

Other Thoughts: still not a con. to be that close the AS-5 performance AND NOT BE CONDUCTIVE is amazing.
can be used for anything.
I do computer repairs/ builds for a living. mx-4 has been out for a while now and I always had a different paste for each situation. my friend convinced me to try and now I will only use a fat value tube of this as my only thermal compound at my office.

5 out of 5 eggsOne and only thermal paste king!

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-4 (20g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: The quality by far in comparison to Prolimatech PK-3, Tuniq TX-4 and Arctic Silver 5 is superior. Brought my temps down on my 4790K with H100i about 28% and my Titan X to about 15% as well comparing the other thermal paste that I used. Rice grain sized application is all you need. This tube will last you at least 50 applications or more.

Cons: Absolutely nothing! Should have more rewards for awesomeness.

Other Thoughts: Wish I'd get my money back for the other thermal paste brands.

5 out of 5 eggsGood paste, but avoid big tube

This review is from: ARCTIC MX-4 (20g) Carbon-Based Thermal Compound, Non-Electricity Conductive, Non-Capacitive

Pros: Arctic MX-4 is a very good thermal paste. Conducts lots of heat, good consistency and viscosity.

Cons: The larger tubes can be quite unwieldy.

Other Thoughts: What I'd recommend doing is to use a smaller tube to actually apply the paste. If you try to apply it to components using the big tube, it's much harder to control the amount coming out. So get a small tube, and fill it from the big tube.
