5 out of 5 eggsArctic MX-4 Termal Compound

Pros: Very High heat conductivity for a non-metal thermal compound. No fear of electrical shock with over-use.

Cons: 8.5 watts per meter kelvin compared to, say AS 5's 8.7, but MX-4 has a higher resistance. More resistance = more time to transfer heat.

Other Thoughts: A very good compound for any power user needing good conductivity without the worry of shorting components.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Wow is about all I can say. I am running an AMD FX-8350 with the Corsair H100i push-pull. Upgraded faster fans of course. Standard clock is 4.0GHz and mine is running at 4.7GHz currently. I used the original thermal paste that came on the H100i and temperatures were at 21C idle and up to 48C with 100% load. The temperatures now have greatly decreased to 15-16C idle and 36-39C under full load. I can say that I am impressed with the results. I knew the results would be better compared to the stock thermal paste but I didn't think it would be this drastic. The warning labels on the box are interesting.

Cons: Hazardous waste that has to be disposed of properly when the tube is empty (going to take a while with 20g since I only swap processors about once a week.)

5 out of 5 eggsdefinitely better than the stuff i used before

Pros: definitely keeps things colder than something that rhymes with baltic sliver 5. not by a huge margin but definitely an improvement. what i like most is that it is not electrically conductive so if i make a mess it wont short anything out

Cons: Price. more expensive than i was originally led on to believe. well worth the money but more expensive than i was originally told.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat thermal paste

Pros: easy to apply, keeps temps nice and low, got it for half off the price, put it on my cpu and gpu. my cpu temps under load are around mid 50's, my gpu's under load never go above 60.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: MSI MPower z77
Intel I7-2700k OC to 4.6
GTX 580's in SLI cooled by two Kraken X40s
Corsair H100
Coolermaster Haf X
Intel SSD 520 series 240 gb

5 out of 5 eggsThis is the best thermal paste...

Pros: This stuff i put on cpu's ps3's xbox 360 i love this thermal compound
little goes along way doesn't contain lead like arctic silver does. Both
are nice but i would buy this stuff over arctic silver for sure or any other brands i trust this stuff...

Cons: I had the same problem with mx-2 plastic breaking on me but
i dropped it so i cant blame this product i wouldn't judge cause
you got one broken dispenser.

Other Thoughts: You can store in zip lock to prolong the life of it.And you spill some
you don't have to worry shorting out stuff.......

1 out of 5 eggsProbably good

Pros: Not sure unable to use it

Cons: When I got it the tip was broken off and the tube was cracked a bit and the paste inside seems to be drying out. Not sure if this was caused by the packaging or the shipping company(UPS). Either was it's a huge disappointment.

Other Thoughts: Was eager to try this thermal paste on my pc parts, but with the tube not sealed I worry it's contaminated and drying out. Guess it's back to Arctic Silver
