Pros: No curing time, drops temps very well. Non-conductive.

Cons: The gray color is totally not matching my case's color scheme. :P

Other Thoughts: Dropped temps from 82C at load to 76C at load on a 7950 with terrible stock cooling, compared to Arctic S5!

Other Thoughts: picked this up as it was marginally more expensive than the smaller tube that is 1/10 the size, used on my two dual socket opteron rigs used so little that im pretty sure that this stuff is gonna go bad before I use it all

Pros: I just finished a high end server build and used this instead of the stock compound. There is a clear difference in performance. The stock compound was 3-5 degrees (C) higher than this. There's plenty for future use as well. I imagine you could use this on 15-20 processors at least.

Cons: Everything looks and works great.

Pros: - Just the right density
- Applies like a charm
- Packaging is great

Other Thoughts: This much amount of paste is big nut if you build lot's of systems or change your cpu/gpu often this is the way to go. I have 2 x GTX770 and I always replace the stock paste, got +- 5 degrees cooler with this paste.

Pros: Artic MX-4 is far better then the popular Artic Silver 5, in terms of thermal conductivity, lasting effectiveness, and electrical insulation.

But not when you get a product that comes in shady retail package with cap off! Get the MX-4 4g one, these come in plastic/sealed retail packaging and you KNOW you are getting a real new product and not hardened open tube/syringe.

Cons: The cap was off, the box provides no assurance product is new. This box they send it in is a complete joke. Used product can be returned and then you get old thermal compound. Like I said, get the MX-4 (4g) they come in sealed plastic, no worries like the 20g version which is easily used and returned.

Other Thoughts: In terms of worst --> best thermal compounds for CPUs and GPUs (installed between core and cooling/heatsink element):

Worst thermal compound type: Ceramic-based thermal grease

Mid-range thermal compound: Metal-based thermal grease contain solid metal particles (usually silver or aluminum). It has a better thermal conductivitythen Cermaic and is more expensive than ceramic-based grease. it CAN conduct electricity which can be a problem if you have a MoBo short. :(

My personal choice (MX-4 type): Carbon based. generally more expensive than metal-based thermal grease, but worth the extra 3 -5 bucks paid IMHO.

Best but hard to find for mainstream consumers: Liquid metal based (this is NOT Artic Silver 5 type products!!). Some thermal pastes are made of liquid metal alloys of Gallium. These are rare and expensive!

My final thought: get the MX-4, it is Carbon-based and work really well, but get the 4g MX-4 to get a real new product, not something tampred with.

Pros: Switched from AS compound to the MX-4 - non conductive, keeps temps low. Paired with the Phantek TC14PE.

Remember, less is more when it comes to thermal compound. I suggest the pea / rice grain or line method with MX-4
