Pros: good quality like all Arctic HSF solutions. comes with thermal compound applied nice and low profile
Cons: this unit extends outside the area on my Zotac motherboard designed for the HSF solution. It collides with the ram, the video card, ATX power connector so I was unable to use this. I put it in my parts box for next time. Probably going to have to order an Intel OEM to get this resolved. the 1U blower fan I have is too loud and I needed something to replace it in a mini-itx build with a socket 1156.. oh well
Rating: 4/5Good product. Instruction could be better
This review is from: ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP CPU Cooler for Intel, Support Multiple Sockets, HTPC Ready
Pros: - Good cooling. My core i5 2500k is at 38 degree idle and 48 degree 100% load. - Pretty quiet. - No extra annoying LED.
Cons: The instruction could be improved. I almost had to RMA this because I installed it wrong the first time and thought it's not working. There are two brackets go on to the motherboard first. They should be mounted ALONG THE DIRECTION OF THE MEMORY SLOTs (at least on my motherboard). The cooler will install just fine if you put it the other way, but will not offer any cooling at all. To be honest, the installation is pretty straight forward if you know this.
Other Thoughts: A nice replacement for no OC setup. Probably for HTPC too due to it's small footprint and low noise.

Pros: -Extremely Quit. I went for a silent build in a case that has no sound dampening, and this cooler was instrumental. I will be honest, I paired this with a locked cpu so I cannot comment on how it handles a high thermal load. However, I have this case on my desk right next to my monitor and I cannot hear a thing. Quiet, low profile, and cheap were my objectives and this delivers 100%.
Cons: - None
Other Thoughts: - I want to restate, it is possible that this cooler does not handle a high thermal load well, but this is not something I need from it and is not something I can verify.
Rating: 3/5Expensive but for some of us necessary.
This review is from: ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP CPU Cooler for Intel, Support Multiple Sockets, HTPC Ready
Pros: It is a big improvement over the stock coolers and it has a small footprint making it fit in most tight spaces. It is barely bigger and the socket that it covers but it is still bigger so if the fit is tight measure before buying. It is also affordable. It is pretty silent, surprisingly quiet for such an inexpensive cooler.
Cons: It is nothing compared to a real cpu cooler costing $40 and upwards. So if you really want to be sure to overly adequately (and we all do) cool your cpu then spend the money.
Other Thoughts: It is great as a spare cooler to just keep around in case you suddenly need it. The other cheap coolers are totally inadequate from my experience.
This review is from: ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP CPU Cooler for Intel, Support Multiple Sockets, HTPC Ready
Pros: -Incredibly quiet -Performance slightly above copper-cored Intel stock coolers -Relatively low profile -Pushes air over components around CPU, at least in two directions -Moderately polished, extremely flat base -4-Pin connector for PWM support -Two years in operation, not a hitch -Modern and legacy socket support -Simple instructions & easy installation
Cons: -Pipe clearance is a make-or-break deal depending on your board -Not a high performance solution for extreme overclocking -Works best with a side fan feeding it fresh air directly
Other Thoughts: Make sure that your board has sufficient clearance for the pipes in at least one direction, or it simply won't fit. Those pipes can make things awkward if your CPU is surrounded by high VRM sinks and the memory modules are very close to the socket.
This thing runs whisper quiet at idle. Sitting on top of an overclocked E8400, it performs better than the copper cored Intel heatsinks with none of the noise. LinPack pushes 55C and P95 pushes 51C, where the copper/alu Intel cooler was 67C and 62C. Even at high speed, it remains fairly quiet.
Does fit Gigabyte P35-DS3L and EP45-UD3R.

Pros: Looks good. Previous good experiences. It comes with thermal paste already applied.
Cons: This cooler blocked the 4th DIMM socket of DRAM on my MB. I'm building a system with micro-ATX form-factor using the ASUS H97M-PLUS motherboard and an Intel CPU for the LGA 1150 socket.
This review is from: ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP CPU Cooler for Intel, Support Multiple Sockets, HTPC Ready
Pros: I cannot think of any, it's decent looking?
Cons: I was in the market for a quiet solution to replace my stock i3 cooler. After reading reviews I purchased this. I don't know if I had a defective one, but this thing was actually a good bit louder, and my CPU temp jumped up to around 80 degrees. For days I tried adjusting the fan speed, didn't really make a difference.
I just replaced this with the Noctua NH-L9i 95mm SSO2 CPU Cooler, which I'm extremely happy that I did. This Noctua is extremely quiet, and even with the low-noise adapter on, my CPU is now around 38 degrees.

Pros: -Much better than stock coolers -Quiet -Easy install -No movement if installed properly -Pre applied thermal compound
Cons: -Does not fit well with memory that has a big heat spreader on most mATX boards, that's more of a tip than a con so im not gonna knock an egg for that.
Other Thoughts: Ive used about 9 of these now in recent slim tower builds, these are basic builds nothing extreme. They are used in offices so they are running 24/7 and the room temps aren't great. In the previous 3 I have built its been in cases with only front and back venting and does the job fine. I have had zero issues with the 9 ive bought at different times so no inconsistency in quality. On the original 2 I used I had installed with Corsair Vengeance memory and it was too tight of a fit, I have switched to the Vengeance LP memory and it fits fine.
All slim tower mATX builds, 4 have been i3-4130, 2 have been i5-4570 and 3 have been i3-4150
I'll be continuing to use these on future LGA 1150 builds
This review is from: ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP CPU Cooler for Intel, Support Multiple Sockets, HTPC Ready
Pros: N/A
Cons: This cooler is taller than the stock Intel cooler for i7/LGA 1150. Don't know what about this cooler makes it "low profile" or "HTPC ready". What's much worse is that the specified height (53mm) is shorter than the stock Intel one (60mm), and yet this cooler is taller than stock. This wasted a lot of time.
