The Accelero Mono PLUS is equipped with a universal mounting mechanism, offering full support to a broad range of graphic cards. A 120 mm PWM fan and five heatpipes provide an ultimate cooling performance and a virtually silent environment at all times.

  • newegg Superior Cooling Performance The Accelero Mono PLUS operates at a maximum cooling capacity of 200 Watts. It is equipped with a 120 mm PWM fan and five heatpipes that dissipate a large amount of heat instantly. It ensures that the VGA graphic card can run under optimal temperature for an extended service life.
  • newegg Enhanced RAM and VR Cooling To achieve ultimate cooling efficiency, the Accelero Mono PLUS comes with an electrically non-conductive thermal glue G-1 to apply on the RAM and the VR heatsink. Compared to traditional thermal tapes and pads, the G-1 provides a far better thermal conductivity and can be removed without leaving any residues behind.
  • newegg Virtually Silent Operated by a low noise impeller enclosed in a patented fan holder to reduce the buzzing sound when the fan is spinning, the Accelero Mono PLUS is barely audible even running at full load. To enable minimum noise level at all circumstances, the PWM controller enables the fan to run at the optimal speed according to the load generated by the GPU.
  • newegg Multi-Compatible* The Accelero Mono PLUS comes with a versatile mounting mechanism and extensive RAM and VR cooling to better suit different graphic cards. It is compatible with the latest Radeon HD 7870, 7850 and 7770 graphics card. (*The compatibility list is based on AMD Radeon and NVIDIA's reference board layout only.)

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for PNY GTX 670

Pros: -Extremely Quiet
-Keeps an overclocked GTX 670 ~60C with a manual fan curve in MSI Afterburner
-Not too heavy; does not bend the PCB unlike the Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo.
-Installation not too difficult

Cons: -Not the prettiest cooler
-Extends widthwise past the PCB, had to remove a fan in my case to accommodate.
-Don't waste your time with the included thermal adhesive for the ramsinks. Instead get some 3m thermal tape, and save yourself the hassle.

Other Thoughts: Exactly what I was hoping for. The stock hsf on reference GTX 670 (like the PNY one) is unbearably loud at idle. It has a constant grinding noise that makes it unusable. This cooler made my PC silent again! Absolutely worth possibly voiding the warranty.

3 out of 5 eggsRoom for improvement

Pros: The heatsink was easy to install. It's quiet and drops the temperature.

Cons: The biggest headache was the G-1 compound for the RAM heatsinks. After following the directions and allowing curing for 5 hours (recommended), the RAM heatsinks were still loose and would slip and slide. Their entire approach for the RAM heatsinks via the compound mixture and 5 hour curing is plss poor engineering. My previous graphics card had a Zalman heatsink and their RAM heatsinks were simple, peel and stick. And they lasted me for a very long time. If you can avoid using the compound for the Arctic RAM heatsinks, then do it. Find another method of attaching the RAM heatsinks.

At the end of the day, I removed the Arctic RAM heatsinks and didn't install them.

Other Thoughts: Installing the main heatsink took me 20 min.

1 out of 5 eggsArctic Cooling -VIRTUALLY NO WARRANTY-

Pros: Kept card cool, big drop in temps. Very Quiet.

Cons: Fan blades actually caught the heatsink fins and caused a jam. Fan is pretty flimsy as is, and is now unusable. To make things worse, Arctic Cooling does not support warranty support directly (look at their return policy or try to RMA on the Arctic Cooling site) and relies on the distributer to handle RMA's, so you'll need to rely on Newegg to replace any broken parts. Newegg states that after 30 days it's up to the manufactuer to make good on warranties, so you'll be caught in no man's land.

Other Thoughts: The one star offsets my 5 star recommendation earlier/below after dealing (or not dealing) with Arctic Cooling's customer service. Official AC site states 6 year limited warranty... good luck with that. They wouldn't even reply to my emails.

3 out of 5 eggsReally?

Pros: See Others....

Cons: Thermal "adhesive"... I work with various adhesives on a daily basis. This is, by far, the worst "adhesive" I've ever seen. I spent 5 minutes mixing the contents of the 2 packages. I carefully applied a "generous amount" to each chip. I then allowed 18 hours (yes, that's 13hrs longer than the instructions say) for the thermal "adhesive" to cure. Upon turning the graphics card over, the heatsinks fell off the VRMs on my GTX660... Each chip was very thoroughly cleaned with alcohol followed by an eraser (since Arctic prefers using an eraser to "clean" chips).

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and buy heatsinks for the memory and VRM section of your graphics card separately. 3M 8815 Thermal tape works much better than the G-1 thermal "adhesive". My HD4850 has memory and VRM heatsinks held on by the 3M 8815 thermal tape. After 4 years, they're still holding just as well as the day they were installed. Still have yet to see how well this cooler actually does since I have to wait for new heatsinks for memory and VRM section... Also, my cooler arrived damaged and hanging out of it's packaging. Fortunately no important pieces were lost...and the heatsink itself was straightened without further damage.

5 out of 5 eggsKind of shocked!

Pros: Wow, Newegg delivered it earlier this afternoon. It was nerve-wracking disassembling the GPU like that, and the instructions were kind of vague, and waiting 5 hours for the adhesive to set was annoying I guess, but it made a huge difference. With the stock cooler my GPU would sit at around 65c while playing borderlands 2 with the fans running at full clip at a very high volume.
I just played for 30 minutes and the GPU temp never got higher than 50c, and that's because at 50c the GPU fan kicks up to 75%. So my GPU runs 15c cooler with 25% less fan speed? It's almost too good to be true but since I did not change anything that should effect the temp sensor on the GPU I guess I have to believe it. Best part is that even at 75% this cooler's fans are very quiet, a night and day difference from stock.

I bought this unit because the stock fan on my MSI 560ti started grinding and I knew I better do something before it seized up.

Cons: The instructions really aren't that bad, but the drawing seemed to be an exact layout of my card so I guess I got lucky there.

It's weird that the plate from the cooler only really contacts about 70% of the chip, that made me real nervous, but I can't argue with the results.

Other Thoughts: I have a wide open case with a lot of good airflow, including a fan that blows directly on the air input of this GPU cooler. If the internal temperature of your case is poor, or you have poor circulation this may not do a lot for you, as it does not exhaust any of the hot air on its own.

4 out of 5 eggsthermal glue dosnt work

Pros: the cooler itself is pure sexy. it keeps my 660ti under 54c all day while playing or benchmarking everything. i was hitting 90c playing bf3. i started seeing broken glass artifacting and looked at my temps and freeked out!! this saved my card

Cons: the thermal glue used to install all heatsinks suck. it dosnt work at all. i let it sit for 4 days without touching it and they all fell off.
is missing 1 ramsink for the 660ti

Other Thoughts: buy your own arctic silver thermal glue on here.

4 out of 5 eggsGREAT

Pros: My cards: two XFX radeon 6870 crossfired. I installed one on both of my crossfired cards and let me tell you they work great. My idle temps went down from around 40 to 35 which I wasnt too impressed by but I was already idling pretty low. As for load its a huge difference. My top card would get is hot as 82 in BF3 after long sessions, after installing this my temps have dropped to about 60 on my top card. Love it.

Cons: I got the heatsinks to install on all my VRAMS but couldnt get them to stay on some of my smaller chips. I mixed it 5 minutes like it said and also let it dry for over 15 hours. When installing the cards my i knocked a few off from the smaller chips so I decided to take the heatsinks off all the smaller chips. If I were you I would only install it on your big RAM chips. Also doesnt have the two pin adapter for 6870 fan, so you have plug the fan into your PSU. I could just cut the wire from my old flan plug and connect them to the adapter they give but after hearing the fans basically silent on 100% I decided to just let it be.

Other Thoughts: GET THEM IF YOU RUN HOT!
6870's RUN REALLY HOT AND THIS WILL DROP IT AT LEAST 20 DEGREES ON LOAD.

5 out of 5 eggs6 YEAR WARRANTY! Great cooler

Pros: NOTE: Have a XFX Radeon 6870 2gb with a single fan stock cooler. Went from 46c/85c(idle/full load) to 37c/62c temps. Really, really works well. I use the 12v/max fan speed, but at 1500 rpm's it's really no louder than the case and cpu fans, so I can't hear it. Using the cooler with the 7v/half fan speed put me at 39c/69c temps. Came with a large amount of heatsinks for the memory and vr. Supplied processor thermal grease worked well. BIG NOTE: Newegg warranty info is wrong... it's a 6 YEAR limited warranty. HUGE PLUS.

Cons: As mentioned by another reviewer, takes a bit (5 hours) to set the heatsinks using the non-conductive thermal glue. Not the most attractive heatsink ever. Uses 3 slots total (vs. 2 with the stock cooler).

Other Thoughts: AGAIN: 6 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY, newegg has the wrong info. I couldn't find a board layout for my VGA card, so I just threw a heatsink on about everything...better safe than sorry I figured. The thermal grease that came with the cooler worked great, saved me a few bucks. If I crossfire, I plan on picking up another one of these.
