Dedicated to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, the Freezer 13 CO delivers superior cooling performance with utmost durability. Employing a Japanese dual ball bearing, the fan operates with reduced friction and hence its lifespan is substantially extended. Freezer 13 CO is your ultimate cooler to maintain your computer systems under optimal temperature at all times.

  • newegg Continuous Operation "CO" stands for Continuous Operation and makes the cooler suitable for PCs with non-stop operation like servers. This feature is brought by the dual ball bearing used in the fan, which reduces rotational friction, i.e. is significantly less sensitive to dust and high temperature and hence is up to 5 times more durable than generic or modified bearings. The included fiber reinforced retention module offers long-lasting support for the CPU cooler's weight throughout its lifetime.
  • newegg Superior Cooling Performance Utilizing a 92 mm PWM fan spinning up to 2,000 RPM, the Freezer 13 CO brings maximum cooling capacity of 200 Watts to ensure your CPU stays cool at all times. In addition, four double-sided 6 mm copper heatpipes and a 45-fin heatsink ensure efficient heat dissipation.
  • newegg Quick Installation The unique mounting system does not require disassembly of the motherboard, making the installation quick and easy, at the same time guaranteeing excellent stability and full transport proofness. Pre-applied ARCTIC MX-4 thermal compound facilitates the whole installation process further.

4 out of 5 eggsWorkin' Good

Pros: Quiet and seems to cool the CPU Good.

Cons: Not easy to install. Had to have my Co-worker work the screwdriver while I held the bracket. I was trying to decide between the Coolmaster Hyper 212 and this cooler (both coolers were at the same price at the time). If I had it to do over again... I would the Coolmaster, but what is done is done. Not a Bad Cooler just a little difficult to install.

Other Thoughts: Cooler rocking on top of a AMD 965 Black

5 out of 5 eggsGreat and quiet cooling for the price

Pros: Very quiet, just what you want. Blows efficiently inside and is way better than the stock cooler for the i7 3770k processor. Wont have to worry about the noise as thats the only thing I feared about any of my CPS cooling equipment. Very easy to install for INTEL motherboards. Only 2 screws needed to mount the heat sink part. And it uses plastic spikes instead of screws when anchoring the actual heatsink to the motherboard.
Comes with a pre-sprayed layer of thermal paste so no need to buy that extra.

Cons: Bulky when placed inside the motherboard but thats necessary if you want efficient air cooling; otherwise water cooling would be best if there is little space inside your tower. Also, you will need a LOOOOONNNNGGGG small screwdriver to insert the two screws for the heatsink.

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice if the heat sink could have been clipped on instead of using screws on. also, it would have been nice also if the thermal compound was in a small bottle of its own or some sort of pad so you can place it evenly on the cpu processor instead of it having come prepackaged on the bottom of the heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggs- 20 below

Pros: Easy Install, -15 to -20 degrees temperature drop. QUIET!!!

Cons: Cooling fan snaps on, not really a con, but I was concerned when I removed it to get to one of the screws that secured it to the CPU.

Other Thoughts: Great product i highly recommend

5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised

Pros: I got this because I have an unlocked A6 that is capable of running 4000 mhz but, the OEM cooler just couldn't keep up. I decided that, if this worked as advertised, I could get a cheap upgrade on my computer.
Long story, short ... it does work as described and I now have a 4ghz A6. I love it when a plan comes together.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I did put a couple of other fans in the case to move cool outside air into the case but, I did this before I bought this cooler. Still think it's a good idea.

5 out of 5 eggsNice inexpensive cooler

Pros: Installation was fairly easy with no back plate required. Dropped my cpu temps 10C from my previous high performance heatsink. Comes with real thermal paste applied instead of a crummy thermal pad. Quiet. The long-life continuous operation fan is a nice touch and seems to work just fine, and is pretty quiet even in a case with mesh sides. 4 pin fan is nice since I can let my mobo control fan speeds and not worry about it, or use an adaptor plug if I want to control the fan speed myself.

Cons: The 2 mounting screws are tricky to reach, so using a magnetic screwdriver would have helped. The high quality thermal transfer paste was a nice touch but it makes trial fitting the cooler a problem since that disturbs the thermal paste.

Other Thoughts: All things considered I think it would have been better if no thermal paste were pre-applied and if a small tube of paste was included instead. While installing the cooler, I dropped one of the screws and had to remove the cooler, which kind of messed up the paste application. I would have preferred to use a different paste and removing/cleaning the paste would be a hassle.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: Dropped temps 20 deg C over stock Intel cooler
Very easy to install
Quality construction
Apprx 2mm clearance side-to-side to nearest memory slot

Cons: None for my setup

Other Thoughts: Intel i7-3770k Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Corsair Vengeance
The fins of my RAM extend into the intake airflow path.
Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Dropped CPU temp about 20 - 25C when compared to stock Intel CPU.

Intel i7 3770 with stock cooler would give about 96C when running Prime95. With Arctic Freezer 13 CO, it dropped to about 71 C.

Cons: Not a real con, but the 92mm fan barely clears over the low profile RAM.

Other Thoughts: Intel i7 3770
MB: MSI Z77A-GD65
Corsair Vengeance low profile 4x 8GB

3 out of 5 eggsNot for AMD!

Pros: This unit does what it is advertised to do which is keep the cpu cool. I went from about 50c to 30c when idling and it keeps my temps below 60c under pressure after replacing my stock AMD fan with this.

Cons: This product is NOT made with AMD in mind. It may fit the brackets but only blowing air vertically not horizontally which is inconvenient for most. It also gets in the way of the closest RAM slot. The instructions are vague pictures that are of little help. Mounting this is a real pain. I had to enlist the help of another person to hold on the brackets while I took care of the screws.

Other Thoughts: I can't speak for how well it works on intel boards, but this does not fit AMD boards well. I ended up having to shave the whole bottom right corner off of the fan just so it wouldn't obstruct the Ram slot closest to the cpu. The airflow direction is an issue for me as well as the only way to mount this cooler is vertically, therefore the intake is either pulling the hot air coming off of my gpu or blowing hot air from the cpu onto it, neither of which is desirable. I still gave this product 3 eggs because, despite the headache of instillation, it is a great improvement over my stock AMD cpu cooler. The bottom line is I cannot recommend this product to anyone who uses AMD as the cooler was clearly designed for intel boards and only made to "fit" in AMD boards giving no consideration to function. So if you are an AMD user please save yourself the frustration this will cause you and get a different cpu cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsCools well a bit large, but it fits

Pros: The unit is reasonably quiet and cools my AMD 8350 8-core. It fit on my Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 using the memory installation instructions. See below.

Cons: None really. If I had wanted to use all four memory slots including the first one next to the cpu area then I would've had to get less tall memory sticks

Other Thoughts: The asus mobo documentation suggests/requires using the 2nd and 4th memory slots if you are only installing two sticks of memory. The Kingston 1866 Predator memory I purchased is very tall. It came within half mm or one mm of the fins. However, when you finish installing the unit the fan case touches the ram quite strongly. I decided to use only 8gb of the 16gb ram I purchased. Therefore, I only needed two 4GB memory units. I sure wish the Mobo manufacturers could set the ram slots back an additional 1 or 2mm from the cpu area. I'm sure there is a reason that they don't.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Fan

Pros: Worked Great With a ASUS Z77 Sabertooth and Fit Fine with the Ripsaw Gskill Ram which was all a bit of a tight fit but all in all works great. The Fan is Quiet and Keeps my i7 3770K Cool :)

Cons: The Only Con is that When i Initially Purchased this Newegg had it Listed Incorrectly as 120MM Fan which prompted me to purchase the Arctic Cooler13 (a 92MM Fan)thinking which the tight fit in all it wouldnt fit, thankfully when it arrived it was a 92MM Fan and Fit Fine. What was funny was in the product specifications it listed the size but the listing was wrong but looks like it has been updated.
