The Accelero Hybrid is the first graphics card cooler with integrated air and liquid solution in the market. It offers an all-in-one solution with 200% cooling performance and 9 times quieter than the stock cooler. While existing VGA Liquid Cooling Solutions (LCS) are restricted to a specific graphics card, this cooler is compatible to a vast range of NVIDIA and AMD graphic cards. It is also the first LCS to have an integrated active fan specifically designed to cool RAM and VR. Moreover, it is simple to use, maintenance-free and excellent value-for-money. Computer enthusiasts and gamers will definitely not want to miss this state-of-the-art integrated cooling solution.

  • newegg Unmatched Cooling Performance It features the F12 (a 120 mm PWM fan), a powerful heat exchanger, and the MX-4 thermal compound to transfer heat efficiently away from the GPU - with 200% cooling performance of the stock cooler.
  • newegg Enhanced RAM and VR Cooling It also comes with an Active Cooling Unit and thermal adhesive specifically designed to enhance the cooling of RAM and VR. Its aerodynamic design further maximizes the airflow efficiency on all surrounding components.
  • newegg Virtually-Silent The PWM fans are both controlled by the graphics card and work according to the GPU load which minimizes the noise level. The PWM setting can be modified according to the different performance and noise priorities.
  • newegg Multi-Compatible Unlike existing VGA LCS, this cooler is compatible to a vast range of NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards.

1 out of 5 eggsDied within 6 months

Pros: It kept temps about 10 degrees cooler on GTX 580 vs air.

Cons: -Horrible install, even with instructions
-Died 6 months in and burnt up my video card. Even if my video card was still ok, the dismantling and reinstallation would have been a nightmare
-A lot noisier than most closed loop systems

Other Thoughts: Save your money and just buy a video card with a pre-installed closed loop water cooler

2 out of 5 eggs  Sounds like a had seeking

Pros: Keeps my cards cool

Cons: I have 2 of these for my 560 ti's and have exchanged one so far. One of the pumps sounded like an IDE hdd seeking 100% of the time. Now one of them randomly does it. I'd exchange it too but the exchanged process was expensive shipping it to CA and took weeks. I can't be without one of my cards for that long again.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Cool as the Arctic

Pros: Keeps my radoen 6850 really cool. never gone above 55c max load. can also be mounted on new r9 series cards which I plan to buy. Its also very quiet.

Cons: The directions were vague at times. It was missing a couple of screws, so i had to substitute with screws from stock heat sink.

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to other people who say that its hard to install, it really wasn't and I'm new to custom aftermarket coolers. it just took me some time and that's all you need.

4 out of 5 eggsSo Much Better Than Stock

Pros: Complely silent. I put this on a reference XFX R290 and it went from sounding like a vaccuum cleaner to no sound at all. Great universal cooler and far superior to the reference AMD cooler. My GPU temps never exceed 50C now. Before it was hitting 95 and throttling all the time.

Cons: Crazy hard install. No kidding, if you have any doubts about your ability to install this do not buy it. It was hard and required some creativity since the R290 didn't even exist when this cooler was designed. I did make it work and I did not need extra parts and all of my RAM and voltage regulators have heatsinks. But it was far from easy. The difficulty with the install was the cause for the minus one egg.

Other Thoughts: I got this for $100 and the Radeon for $400. For $500 total I have a great single GPU solution. If the install scares you buy a non-reference R290 for just a bit more (since the price has gone up) and you will get similar results for a lot less hassle and just a bit more money. Also XFX does not void the warranty on my R290 for using this but other manufacturers may.

1 out of 5 eggsIm Not Happy

Pros: absolutely none!!!!

Cons: This is not an easy install what so ever. The directions are poorly written & unclear. It took me about 2 days to get the product installed. Then when i finally got it installed.....the thing didn't even work bad pump. My card went all the way up past 100c and gave the BSOD!!!!!!!

I didn't even bother contacting Newegg or Artic about this, too tired and frustrated with it. I dont want anymore headaches with it. As soon as I bought this, the product it got discontinued anyway so there you have it.

1 out of 5 eggsFalse advertising

Pros: Good design for the cards it works for.

Cons: Does NOT work for EVGA 560 Ti .. false advertising at it's best. Now my 109 dollars are down the drain.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome after LONG install

Pros: GFX card dropped 20 deg Celsius with this over stock MSI Twin Frzr II and a room fan directly on open side of case(which I no longer need) so this thing is AWESOME, see cons though you'll need to be an expert at installations

Cons: so I'm A+ certified and this thing was a major project plan on around half a day of install, thats if you dont need any extra molex or fan cables, definetly preplan out this install , there's alot of little washer and bolts , be careful not to lose any as there's only enough for the install and no spares! took off an egg because this cooler is a bit too long with a fan plug at very end and needs to basically get burried in a HDD slot, you could dremal off the knob and get crafty with a reroute if you need to as the plug just unsnaps.

Other Thoughts: Get it, just have the time and patience to install

5 out of 5 eggsKinda cheap for the cost

Pros: Nice closed loop cooler with good instructions, benchmarks show great temp control on fermi so I figured I'd give it a shot on a r9 290, which their website says it fits.

Cons: Shroud is cheap plastic that seems a little excessive, arctic could have made this less preschool and more professional but that's just me.

5 out of 5 eggsGTX 780 SC ACX Installation

Pros: Cools the GK110-300 extremely well. Card is currently OC'd to 1250 on stock volts and temp never goes above 48º in Furmark or games. Idle temps hover between 24-26º.

Very cool and almost silent.

Cons: Can be challenging or awkward to install if doing it alone or a novice.

Other Thoughts: Moved Hybrid from GTX 680 with Artic heatsinks to the new 780. Zero issues moving to new PCB. Fan is setup for intake.

Used the ACX base plate which works as large heatsink for memory. Minor cutting of base plate needed.

ACX cooler is great but needed extra cooling for increase voltage. ACX cooler hovered around 66º at 1200MHZ.

Worth every penny if you need extra cooling but don't want to build a true loop.
