The ARCTIC F Series case fan is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet and efficient case fan. The refined “ninja-knife” impeller design contributes to higher airflow and lower noise level. This case fan can work as intake fan and outtake fan thanks to its standard frame.

  • newegg Perfectly Quiet The refined "ninja-knife" impeller design not only improves the airflow, but it also lowers the noise level significantly. The ARCTIC F Series fans remain inaudible even while running at full speed.
  • newegg Impressive Airflow The special fan blades reinforce the volume of airflow by 20% comparing with those generic fans.
  • newegg Multi-Purpose Fan The ARCTIC F Series have a standard frame, making it possible to install the fans either intaking or outtaking air in the PC case. The standard three-pin connector can easily be connected directly to mainboards.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: Ordered 6 of these to replace the junk Enermax I purchased last time. I was surprised how quiet these are for the airflow they produce. Very Happy!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: inexpensive, moves air, quiet.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: used instead of OEM fan in cheap Rosewill case. rear exhaust. Increased airflow and not noise. Case cannot fit bigger fan in rear.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a Nice Fan

Pros: - Moves a ton of air for such a small fan
- Very quiet, I was afraid and prepared for it to have too much noise, but was very pleasantly surprised

Cons: Surprisingly, none. The cord is a little long for my liking but i zip-tied most of it around the fan itself

Other Thoughts: I put this to add as an exhaust to my Micro-ATX Cube (Corsair Air 240) because I have SLI'd 680s and they get warm. Works like a charm.
SLI 680s + i7-5820k + Corsair H100i = 30C CPU idle, and both GPUs idle at ~50C, 70C at max load.

5 out of 5 eggsgood fan

Pros: quiet compared to others.
silent up to 50% speed, quiet up to 80%
good quality.
long wire

Cons: almost loud at 100% speed.
sharp fans blade tips, drew blood when I stuck my finger in it :P

Other Thoughts: I bought this fan after enjoying the quiet 120mm of the same brand. The wire is long and very small gauge. Small could be a PRO because it's easy to flex and route... but could be a CON as it's small enough to be cut or damaged if you're rough with it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent fan

Pros: Under-volts very nicely, even runs on 3.3v (almost no airflow, but it actually operates on about 25% voltage)
Dead silent at just below 5v (running about 4.65v atm)
Extremely quiet at 5v (plenty of air at 5.1v, a lot more than 4.75v)
Fluid Dynamic bearing so you can use it horizontally
6 year warranty
Match my Fractal R4's white/black color scheme (in use less than 1ft away from that)

Cons: Don't need many 80mm fans now days, mostly use 120 and 140mm
No molex adapter is included
Fan screws are not black

Other Thoughts: I am using this in a modified PSU case that contains my raspberry pi server
I got this to ensure safe overclocking
All i wanted from this fan was silence and a gentle breeze with a low operating voltage and it does perfectly

I modified the plug to connect this to my breadboard that probably voids the warranty

Need a 80mm 2 or 3pin fan? get this one

* I did not try running the fan using the 3.3v rail on the pi, i used a 5v wall-wort and checked the voltage with a multimeter, clearly that wall-wort was over rated, but i found a couple useful parts in it so it was good for that

2 out of 5 eggsNot quiet

Pros: Pretty, worked.

Cons: Not quiet at all, I don't know how loud everyone else's old fans were but these are NOT quiet. Avoid if you're after acoustics.

2 out of 5 eggsQuiet blade huh?

Pros: Moves a lot of air for a 80mm fan

Cons: These fans are far from being quiet. When I was done building this new computer, I left it on the ground about 7 meters away from my main computer. Despite having my corsair headset on while playing a game, all I could hear was the two arctic fans I purchased. They are as loud as your average single fan gpu running at 100%.

Other Thoughts: Should have went with Noctua fans.

5 out of 5 eggsNearly silent!

Pros: A quite fan with high air flow at a low price. What more could a person want from a case cooling fan?

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Perhaps I should have bought a couple more to replace some of the louder fans in other towers I have.
