The ARCTIC F Pro PWM fan outperforms other 80mm/92mm/120mm fans in the market, in regards to their performance/noise ratio. With efficient central cooling, the ARCTIC F Pro PWM fans offer excellent cooling and noise control performance for the system.

  • newegg Best Noise-Performance Ratio The ARCTIC F Pro PWM fans deliver unbelievably quiet performance. The key to this performance is the unique vibration absorption of the ARCTIC F Pro PWM fans. This sophisticated feature absorbs vibration, caused by the motor of the fan. This way, the vibrations can’t be transmitted to the PC Case and other components.
  • newegg Easy Installation Installation can never be easier. Users can mount the ARCTIC F Pro PWM fans on the PC case by the four screws provided. Alternatively, these fans can be installed with screwless mounting mechanism provided in the chassis.
  • newegg Efficient Central Cooling by PST With the innovative exclusive PWM Sharing Technology (PST) function, the ARCTIC F Pro PWM can connect up to five fans, including CPU fans. The speed of all the fans in this PST system is now centrally controlled by a single PWM signal via BIOS.

4 out of 5 eggsfollow up

Pros: Follow up to my previous review.. I emailed Arctic support and they are going to honor the warrenty by sending me a replacement at no cost.

At first they wanted me to ship the fan back to them at my cost before sending a replacement... Which was silly considering it would have cost less and taken much less shipping time to purchase a new one from Neweqq.

Cons: Still wish the original would have lasted longer

1 out of 5 eggs6 months!

Pros: Pros? Well it worked intended for 6 months.......

Cons: Bought in December 2013....died June 2014.... My first Arctic fan ran faithfully for several years until the bearing started squeaking and eventually seized.. Seems Arctic quality has dropped since I bought my previous fan.
Don't buy in to the six year warranty! You get stuck paying the shipping bill which is MORE expensive than buying a new fan.....

5 out of 5 eggsPerforms as Advertised

Pros: Our newer asus MB has PWM settings so we tossed our old fans out and ordered 2 Arctic F9's. Simple for me, even at 70. daisy chain the two and thank goodness for ASUS UEFI and just set to 100RPM. PWM is so nice. Quiet with PWM and ASUS setting.

Cons: i won't question the engineers. they know better than me. but, i didn't care for the hard plastic fasteners instead of metal fasteners. that said, the plastic make for no vibration noise and that's what matters.

5 out of 5 eggsFast, Cool Quiet Fan

Pros: If it has Arctic on the label its a quiet and great air mover. While not very super popular with the enthusiast scene these fans are durable, practical and good looking. The speed and the quietness of this product is to be seen to be believed.

Cons: weird Design for this one but made for certain special Applications..

Other Thoughts: Acrtic Fans and Cooling products are great for the price and the service you receive from this product. 5 Eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Looks good next to my Freezer 7, quiet.

Cons: Hard to install for a fan. Fragile, be careful, as I was moving it into place for installation, I heard a pop. The bottom fan shroud (i guess) snapped right off. Under very light pressure. Screw holes also lined up perfectly, but the screws were a pain to get in. Still, I like the fan. It however, rubs a piece of the inside, you can hear it when it powers off or when it first comes on, but you don't hear it after that. Worried it might be an issue down the road.

Other Thoughts: I still like this fan. It went in an HP computer, trying to quiet it down for music production. Next is the power supply.

3 out of 5 eggsExhausting

Pros: Quite
Moves a lot of air
Easily daisy chained for boards with only a few fan sockets

Cons: Can only be used for exhaust
No holes for mounting on posts

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of the fans to use as intakes on the myMediaPC HTPC 8000 case that I bought. I was going to use wood screws to mount them as intakes on the fo-speakers on the grill but found that not only are they designed so that you can only use them as exhaust fans, they do not use a traditional hole design on the brackets so if you are mounting the fan using a post system or have longer screws you are... well .....ed. But they are quite and move a lot of air so I will be creative and mount them one way or another.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PWM Fan

Pros: The Arctic Cooling F9 Pro PWM Fan is awesome. It is very quiet. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great PWM fan at a great price.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used the Arctic Cooling fan to replace a horrible Nidec fan in an old Dell desktop. The Dell fan was constantly squealing. If I used metal screws instead of rubber screws to hold up the Dell fan, the Dell fan was unbearably loud.

The Arctic Cooling Fan is very quiet even if it is held up by metal screws. It provides sufficient cooling without the annoying clattering and whining noises of a Nidec/Dell fan.
