The ARCTIC F Series is a high performance case fan for anyone looking for a quiet and efficient case fan.

Perfectly Quiet

The refined "ninja-knife" impeller design not only improves the airflow, but it also lowers the noise level significantly. The ARCTIC F Series fans remain inaudible even while running at full speed.

Impressive Airflow

The special fan blades reinforce the volume of airflow by 20% comparing with those generic fans.

Multi-Purpose Fan

The ARCTIC F Series have a standard frame, making it possible to install the fans either intaking or outtaking air in the PC case. The standard three-pin connector can easily be connected directly to mainboards.

5 out of 5 eggs+1

Pros: Quiet, indeed I am using the same setup as OneCoolPilot with two of these and I am sorry to hear about his issue- It's been a year and I don't have it!

Moving sufficient air for me to notice even still, and they clean surprisingly well for white. They gather dust just like all case fans will.

Cons: I would have to scrape the barrel.

Other Thoughts: +1 Recommended. Not to ignore OneCoolPilot's review though as I may have been lucky.

5 out of 5 eggsQuieter than the Antec fan it replaced

Pros: Fairly quiet at typical motherboard-controlled 850 RPM.
Moves reasonable amount of air at typical speed.
Can move a lot of air at full speed.
No bearing noise or whine when mounted horizontally in top of case.

Cons: Wind noise becomes obtrusive at full speed.

Other Thoughts: Have used several Arctic Cooling case fans and they have proven reliable and quiet. This 140mm model is no exception. Our intention is to have a quiet home theater pc which is also powerful. This generates more heat than a basic HTPC so more cooling fans are needed ... and Arctic Cool fans help keep the noise down to a soft whoosh.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: Very quiet at max speed
I switched from the 140mm front fan that came with my case (don't have spec on that fan, Rosewell Gear X3 case), HDD temps dropped by 2-3C
i5-3570k temp dropped by 2C, so definitely getting better airflow through my case
White fan blades are sexy

Cons: I have a dust filter covering it so I can't marvel at the white fan blades.

4 out of 5 eggsGood but noisy

Pros: Fits good, solid build quality, moves a good amount of air

Cons: bearing noise

Other Thoughts: I have mine mounted in the top of the case, blowing out. I went with the fluid bearing because I have read that sleeve bearings make a lot of noise in this position. After about a week, I started hearing what I though was the hard drive clattering, turns out it's this fan. It has slowly become louder. It's not too disturbing, the sound of air being pushed out is about the same noise level as the "clatter" sound, but in a quiet house in the middle of the night, it's noticeable and irritating.

If you're going to be using it in a vertical position (front or back exhaust), or sucking air in from the top, then it should work just fine. If it will be upside-down, you might have to deal with noise.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Pros: Quiet, Moves a good amount of air, White fan blades, Sleeved cabling, Long cable.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Nabbed this one on sale. It's a much higher quality fan that some of the lower priced 140mm ones out there. Also with having it on sale for the same price as them, I couldn't go wrong with getting one.

I'm glad that I could find another white bladed fan from a good company such as arctic cooling. It runs just about as noisy as my other fans in my current case which are quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsKeep my PC cool

Pros: It is made of sturdy material
Strong air flow
quiet

Cons: The cable is short

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a case fan to increase airflow through my PC,
I am a bit of an audiophile so noise was a big problem in my product choice.

I installed this at the back panel of my PC blowing air across the CPU and RAM. It comes with an adapter that allows you to connect it to the power supply unit. It runs at 1300RPM, but quiet enough. The noise from the loading hard disc is much louder than that from the fan. Well, as a fan sold in this price, I do not have much to judge.
