The ARCTIC F PWM forwards the PWM signal from the CPU to the whole case ventilation system. The entire system is cooled quietly, but still offers the superb performance when needed.

  • newegg Versatile Applicable With the standard 25mm frame, the ARCTIC F PWM can be applied as intake or outtake system fan.
  • newegg Silent Operation Thanks to fluid dynamic bearing and the unique fan holder design, the ARCTIC F PWM is not only quiet, but also highly durable.
  • newegg Quick and Easy Setup Via the PWM signal, the CPU fan is controlled by the mainboard to reach the ideal temperature for the CPU. The exclulsive PST (PWM Sharing Technology) is forwarding the PWM signal to all other fans inside the system. This way, all fans are spinning at the same speed. This provides silent operation in idle mode, but also gives sufficient performance, when required to offer efficient cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

Pros: Big quiet fan with a lot of CFM

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Replaced the original 140mm fan in my Lian Li PC-C33 case with this. Outperforms and just as quiet :)

4 out of 5 eggsNeeds more cable

Pros: Looks great with Fractal Define cases.
Very quiet
6-Year warranty!
No LED! (A pro for me at least)

Cons: The included cable is pretty short (<12"). I need to buy an extension to reach the bottom edge of my Z77 sabertooth motherboard from the rear exhaust position on my Fractal Define XL

Other Thoughts: A little pricey, but it seems high-quality. The only downside is cable is a little short for a case fan. It almost reaches in my case/motherboard, but I would be out of luck if I tried to put it on the front as an intake

4 out of 5 eggsBlow Me Down

Pros: Moves air, PWM 4 wire. Good upgrade for Fractal computer cases.

Cons: Comes with 3 or 4 wire adapter, it is kind of cumbersome especially if you just want a 4 wire PWM fan hook up.

Other Thoughts: Watch your fingers, OUCH!

5 out of 5 eggsHums Like a Butterfly

Pros: Excellent. Plays nice with all the other fans too. Standard mounting arrangement so no surprises.

Cons: None Here

Other Thoughts: I like color (LED) but others not so much. No lights here.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Seems pretty quiet-running so far. Works as expected. Fits just fine in my case (though I'm running it as intake on a microATX setup).

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Fan has a 12" power cable. Not the longest, but pretty standard for PWM fans from what I've seen. 1-egg is rather undeserved for an otherwise perfectly-good product that doesn't fit a specific users application .

5 out of 5 eggsAllow me to install it in 4 postions inside the case

Pros: I can install it in the back, upper side and front side.
It work well with my ventilation system. I barely heard the noise produced by the fan. (most of noise is from the hard disk)

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggscable too short

Pros: none

Cons: Cable would not reach to the mobo fan controller slots (Corsair Carbide 300R & Asus P8Z77-M)

Other Thoughts: Wanted this as a front intake fan. It might work as a top exhaust fan, but I don't want that.
