4 out of 5 eggsnice for price

Pros: quiet below 2k rpm some what noisy above 2k. does its job. fits in in a m-atx case nicely.

Cons: wow that was a hard install i was afraid i was going to dmg my mobo. i had to bend the clips a bit to get it on at all. (amd install)

Other Thoughts: if you are going to be overclocking you might wanna get something a bit better

1 out of 5 eggsmounting sucks

Pros: Dunno, the mounting bracket broke while I was trying to install it.

Cons: the directions said to loosen the screws on the unit. I did that to make the bracket be able to reach under the CPU mount. then I connected one side and while connecting the other side the screw popped out and flew...somewhere (never found it) I found another screw around the house of the same type and tried that only to find that the bracket was stripped. the bracket is very cheap, thin metal and didn't hold up to the stress of being mounted to the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: should have just gone with a self contained liquid cooling system like the
Cooler Master Seidon for $54.99

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fan!

Pros: Quiet, easy to install,no thermal paste needed

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: looking at some of the reviews,I can clearly see some people have never installed a CPU fan before. Those claiming it required force didn't take into account that you were supposed to unscrew the brackets on the sides and use a screw driver to tighten them by putting them back on.For those who don't really know how large 92mm is,it's a little smaller than a coke can. This fan is large, but it is quiet and DEFINITELY does its job.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: quiet, gets job done

Cons: -aluminum heatsink
-the mounting system they have with this unit is pretty bad and if you over tighten you will bust either the CPU mounting tabs or the mount/fan itself

Other Thoughts: you get what you pay for, if you can get it mounted this is a great deal

4 out of 5 eggsbetter then stock

Pros: quiet . oh did i mention its quiet over stock cooler and cools better cools off faster then stock cooler. please see other thoughts

Cons: noda

Other Thoughts: my A10 6800 was over heating and freezing up with stock amd cooler in a mini itx case and i was not able to run memory over 1333mhz .i had to do something . so after reading reviews and i have use many artic coolers in the past for computer builds .so i gave this one a try and it did stop the over heating and freezing up and is much quieter then the stock cooler but it still got to 100f during gaming and i was still not able to run memory any faster then 1333mhz . i eventually gave up and used a bigger case with water cooling and WOW runs super cool and now i even able to run the memory at 2400mhz with no issues at all. :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good fan, quiet. Much more efficient then stock fan.

Cons: Slightly tricky to mount but no big deal. Once you figure it out it's easy.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Low End Cooler

Pros: I had recently built a new computer that runs my firewall. Its an old processor and the heat-sink on it was far from effective. Before getting this cooler the system was running at around 40C to 46C on average an any given day.

The second I installed the cooler it started reading around 24C. After a couple hours it peaked at around 34C.

Its quite to, that is the one thing that I really like about this cooler. I think I might recommend this to a buddy who is building a system just like mine.

Cons: The cooler was a little hard to install onto the motherboard. I really had to put some force into it to get it to lock in. I was a little scared at first because I could see the mother board flexing.

Just because of the tense install was why I took an egg off of it.

Other Thoughts: Over all this is a great cooler. I would by it again but I would really like to see them come out with a updated version that wont be so hard to install.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Item, Do Not Buy

Pros: Nothing is good about this product.

Cons: Worst design clip I've ever seen. Broke my mount during installation.

Other Thoughts: This has the WORST clip I've ever seen, and I've been building PCs for over 20 years. It is impossible to get on. I finally managed to get one side clipped and then when trying to apply the right amount of pressure to attached the other side, it broke of the tab on the already clipped side. A heatsink should not require that much pressure to attach that the tabs break off.

My prior heatsink (stock) had a nice little lever that released the pressure. You could clip the two connectors on each side and then move the lever so that it applies equal pressure to the mount clips at once. This product's design means you have to apply the full pressure to one side while attempting to attached the other.

Not only is the clip bad, the heatsink itself is thin and easily bent. One of the outside fins was already bent when I got the item and the most outside fin (thicker than the rest) is bent inwards so that the fan doesn't properly clip onto the heatsink.

This design is again flawed. There are 2 small tabs on the inside of the fan housing that are meant to clip over the two outside fins of the heatsink. I'm assuming they felt that was all that was needed since the clips are then attached to the fan housing. The heatsink is then held in place by the pressure between the CPU and the fans plastic housing. What this means is, you can not remove the fan for cleaning without completely undoing the clips. Which then releases the heatsink. Once that is free to move, (and it will) you'll need to take it out and reapply some thermal paste. The fan should be completely separate.

This is a horribly flawed design that has now resulted in making my PC unusable. The fact that they sold this product as it is shows that they have no respect for the customer or their hardware. Please, do not buy this product unless you hate yourself.
