1 out of 5 eggsGood Chip cooling Horrible vram cooling

Pros: does cool the gpu to low 70's on heavy games (Witcher 3)

Cons: For one thing the install instructions are not detailed enough for inexperienced installation meaning new to gpu cooler replacement. There are videos online to show you how but it's still not enough.
Okay then to the major problem, the vram cooling is not even metioned on how its supposed to work. No fan? only the fins? it was not enough it completely trashed one of my r9 390's after 1 day of gaming. The temps were good (i have a program that tells me what the temps are for all my components)but kept having texture errors after about 10 minutes of playing(flashing textures and differrent colored blocks where the textures were) so i decided to add 2 fans one on the bottom of my case and one high rpm one for the side where the air would go over the card, was still not enough. Then i kept having freezes that then after i restarted several times then went ingame i got kind of like a ghosting effect on everything that was white and unplayable. All in all do not get this as it does not cool down the vram properly.

Other Thoughts: Do not get this even if you have proper airflow and high rpm fans running over the card it will not be enough.

5 out of 5 eggsSome Assembly Required

Pros: Looking to try to squeeze out a little bit more performance out of my aging GTX650Ti and getting into water cooling brought my attention to this kit.

- Kit comes with everything you need to apply thermal pads to the back of high-heat components for the heatsink, and apply a water block with integrated pump over the GPU proper.
- Came with more then enough thermal pads for the GTX650 it is installed on.
- Dropped roughly 10-20F off of average running temperatures and allowed more aggressive overclocking.
- Radiator fits well in 120mm Fan Spot in back of Case.
- Instructions and provided fan curves were easy to understand.

Overall, does what it says on the case and does it reasonably well - something that can be hit or miss with a universal kit.

Cons: Major Concerns:

- A lot more assembly then was expected from this kit - it is certainly a kit and not a simple drop on replacement for the stock cooler.
- Could use longer tubes to allow more mounting possibilities for the card; they feel too short even though the card is in the #1 PCI-E slot.
- Cutting your own spacer: This is a thing, and part of the kit issue above.
- The clamping system included to help clamp the heatsink to the rest of the card appeared to be too thin, and required a bit of flex on the PCB to fit correctly and hold the heat sink to the card.
- The included brace was difficult to line up with the previously mentioned too-small clamps, ultimately it was not used because of this.
- After running pump for several weeks, can still hear the coolant 'burping' in the system, and occasional pump noise due to air trapped in loop. This may be due to a horizontal board layout however.

Other Thoughts: For a universal closed loop water cooling kit, this is a really nice bit of hardware. The supplies are ample, and it does its job with a minimum of fuss - as long as you are confident with the some assembly required kit. This is certainly not a beginning level kit to use on a card, and I would not recommend it in place of a pre-made hybrid graphics card for those interested in closed-loop systems. It does not provide the flexibility of an open-loop water block, so it occupies a rather strange spot between off the shelf and enthusiast water cooling.

Ideally, this water cooling kit is recommended for someone who is a hobbyist looking for GPU water cooling without the investment of the open-loop GPU cooling blocks and rest of the system required - but if you are already running an open loop system or are not comfortable modifying a graphics card and placing your own thermal pads, this kit is not for you.

1 out of 5 eggswasted time and money

Pros: fits most cards
fairly easy installation
comes with thermal paste
comes with card holder to help with weight

Cons: not effective
does not work
card to hot
just overall useless

Other Thoughts: I have the EVGA 780ti superclocked edition and it came with the ACX cooler. I took the ACX cooler off and installed this instead with the hopes to keep it cool enough to over clock to a high level. This did not do the job at all. My normal operation temperature when idle with the ACX was 60 degrees C. With this cooler it jumped to 78 Degrees C. in a game with the ACX it was 70 -75 degrees C depending on the game. With this cooler I was maxing out at 99 degrees C and because of the high temperatures my card lowered its power and I got frame rate drops which I've never gotten before. This cooler was awful in general. DO NOT BUY.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing Design

Pros: It's Quiet and will work for low wattage cards.

Cons: The thermal transfer is inadequate for high end cards. Use your own fan not connected to the video card and it will run a lot better. The back heat sink is completely useless, there is no memory cooling on this kit so you will need to get memory coolers.

Other Thoughts: ATI 290 card runs at 75c this is higher than a 295 with factory cooler that runs at 55c.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Decision,

Pros: These things rock!!!, I have a 270 and 270X in cross fire: 1025Ghz and 1150Ghz respectively.

They are always under reference temps, normally max 51c for both even after hours of watchdogs 60FPS on Ultra.

The best part is how quiet having an all AIO cooled system is.

Cons: None really, the instructions helped.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome cooler!

Pros: This is the best gpu cooler you are going to get short of pure water cooling and as much as I would love to water cool in theory in reality I don't have time for that. I'm running 2 of these coolers on 2 gtx 780's and they are killer! With minor OC they outrun a titan Z if I ever get a 4k monitor I may try and push them harder but for 2560x1440 there is no need to make my system unstable. Be aware this cooler will make your card a 3 slot card! but if you pair this with a Noctua F12 you will get great performance and your cooler will be nearly silent.

Cons: It's kind of a pain to install but worth it afterwords. It's big this will make your card a 3 slot card but if you have the space it's totally worth it!

Other Thoughts: Don't listen to reviews from people who don't own the product or that lost parts during the install. This is the best cooler you will get short of pure water cooling period.

2 out of 5 eggsPassive heat sink too large, fitment problems

Pros: I like the idea of self contained water cooler.

Cons: Passive heat sink doesn't fit many motherboards if you use the PCIe slot close to the CPU/RAM.

Also will require considerable space between PCIe slots in order to run a SLI setup.

Liquid cooling only addresses the GPU, nothing else.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Advanced Builders

Pros: It keeps my MSI 780ti under 40c even under load. It does exactly what it says and the setup allows for air in or out.

Cons: Not a easy instal if you are not used to advanced PC Customizations.

Other Thoughts: I got this setup overnighted to me when my gpu fans started to throw their bearings. I say some random temp increases then the blue screen of unhappiness. I say right away on opening the package that it was no simple kit so I read the instructions front to back before installing. I HIGHLY recommend that you read them prior to install. Winging it on this kit will just result in a damaged kit or card. Oh and cooling from the backplate on vram works great! Go figure!

5 out of 5 eggsVery good product !

Pros: Cools the system down by an average 20 deg C.
Very very quite as advertised
Even if you don't follow the mounting instructions to the dot, you will get the cooling results.
Good customer service

Cons: Not as easy to install as you would expect
Little screws holding the pump are very fragile...Don't use any screw driver but screw them manually. They don't need a lot of pressure.

Other Thoughts: The customer service sent me additional screws after I broke one...Thanks for that !
If it happens to you, you can find very small screws in car/aircraft model shops that will do the tricks as well.
I was disappointed with the thermal results after the first mount so I dismantled every thing and started again. After different configs of thermal pads and pressure of the back plate, I found the results were similar : Around 5 deg C gain only !
I then realized that the AMD/Nvidia cooling schedule were inappropriate. They tend to let the video card temp rise before increasing the fan speed. Once the fan speed was raised to 85 pc manually, via the driver itself or MSI Afterburner, the temps went down by at least 20 deg C in 20 pc overclock of the card.
Conclusion : It's good, very good and very quite. I bought two of these and I strongly recommend them. Use Afterburner, configure your fan speed manually and you will love it.

5 out of 5 eggsI Love it....however....

Pros: Keeps my GPU at around 40-45c under load and around 37-40c idle. That's a pretty impressive improvement over the 70c idle and 85-95c load I had with the stock cooler. Not to mention that my computer no longer sounds like a jet engine when playing my games.

Cons: Installation was not simple. Although it comes with instructions they are not exactly clear. I had to read them several times to make sure I wasn't going to ruin my rather expensive video card. The clips that hold the heatsink to the card do not stay in place well and some of them get in the way of other components in the PC such as the heatsinks on the mobo. (Which freaked me out when I turned on my pc to a black screen because I didn't see the the clips were blocking the card from being seated properly) Easily fixed by moving the clips around however for my card I had to remove 2 of them completely.

Other Thoughts: It's alot bigger than I anticipated, I had to install it in the second PCIe slot as my ram and mobo cooler was in the way otherwise. Overall it was a relatively smooth installation after I figured out the process. I would definitely buy another although I think the price is a bit high at $130.
